‘Genesis’ Drummer and vocalist Phil Collins is retiring from the music industry due to medical issues, E Online reports.
Collins says years of drumming has resulted in a variety of health issues, including hearing loss, a dislocated vertebrae and nerve damage in his hands. Collins has won seven Grammy wins, an Oscar, 13 hit singles and more than 150 million albums sold as a solo artist.
This isn’t Collins’ first attempt to exit the music industry, as he has faced much criticism over his music throughout the past years. In 2009, Collins hinted at his approaching retirement on the Genesis website, after he dislocated a vertebrae in his neck that prevented him from playing the drums or piano. He moved to Switzerland to do just that, and now lives in a remote town in the country with his two sons.
“I was going to stop drumming anyway,” Collins said. “I had stopped. I don’t miss it.”
I was never a fan or listener of Genesis, so this news doesn’t really affect me. But being 60 years old and all, I think it’s a good time to retire. I’m sure he’s built up a nice little nest egg to live on, so really, I don’t feel too bad for the guy. It’s time to relax, buddy, you’ve earned it.
They say one person’s trash is another one’s treasure, and that is kind of the case with Amy Winehouse. Winehouse’s teenage diary was found in a London trash can which reveals an interesting side to the singer. The diary was written in 2001 when Winehouse was 17.
On a list that includes handwritten reminders to get a “treadmill” and “buy car,” the singer also wrote, “get teeth fixed.” It also says that she dreams of buying a flat in London.
Winehouse’s rep tells PEOPLE she wants them back. “Yes, they are hers,” her rep confirms. “They got thrown out by mistake and she’s in the process of getting them back now.”
She also gets a tad more personal saying “live like the bombshell I really am” and revealing feelings for a guy named Felix, by writing, “There’s too much sexual tension.”
So, do we like this vulnerable and sensitive side of Winehouse?

So there is no two ways about it – we made a mess out of this interview. And it’s nothing to do with Jazmine – she was pretty awesome. Here’s how we screwed it up:
1. Initially we almost turned down the interview because we weren’t familiar with her music. Than we found out she was huge and amazing.
2. Thanks to Rob Ostfield the audio is really bad and the camera work is so so.
3. Although we filmed this interview a while ago, we forgot to edit it until now.
andPOP fails on this one. However Jazmine did like Jordan’s eyelashes. So we did do something right
