Sienna Miller has reached an out-of-court settlement with the newspaper ‘News of the World,’ reports E Online.

The settlement will see that the tabloid pay her a whopping $162,000 in damages after it accepted all liability for hacking into the actress’ phone for scoops on her private life. Talk about ruthless journalism.

The tabloid will also provide Miller with a full accounting of the wiretapping that took place between 2004 and 2005. That was when several of of the newspaper’s reporters, three of whom have since been jailed, gained illegal access to the actress’s private voicemails in an effort to dig up dirt on her relationship with then-beau Jude Law.

“We are pleased that we have managed to bring this case to a satisfactory conclusion,” read a statement from the newspaper. “Several weeks ago we admitted liability in certain cases and offered a genuine and unreserved apology. We hope to resolve other cases swiftly.”

Lawyers for the paper then went on to clarify the nature of the material that it’s agreed to disclose to Miller’s camp.

“For the record, reports that have been ordered to disclose 8,000 emails to Ms. Miller are inaccurate,” continued the statement. “The error stems from a reference in court to the fact that a total of 8,000 e-mails were being searched to ascertain whether any Sienna Miller-related material was amongst them.”

Miller’s attorney, Hugh Tomlinson, was quoted telling the court yesterday his client didn’t care about the money (she initially demanded $650,000 in compensation) as much as knowing “the extent of wrongdoing.”

“In those circumstances, her primary concern is not how much money is awarded by way of compensation but to know exactly what the extent was of the hacking which took place,” he said.

Good for her, that’s just a whole other level of privacy-disruption. I’m all for digging for dirt and exposing celebrities, but never would I tap a phone or hide in the bushes to do it. I’ll get my information from someone else.

Sienna Miller has put her London home up for sale so she can move in with Jude Law, reports Perez Hilton.

“Sienna has already moved most of her stuff into Jude’s place, which is very close by,” said a friend of the actress. “They are back on track and living together is the next step. They had an amazing holiday at Christmas and made a decision to commit to one another.”

Jude Law and Sienna Miller were spotted at New York City’s Emporio restaurant sharing a pizza just after midnight on Thanksgiving Thursday, reports Perez Hilton. Witnesses say the pair turned down a private seat in the back, instead opting to sit in the front and kiss in public.

Law ordered a $350 bottle of wine and left a $100 tip in addition to complementing the kitchen staff on his way to the restroom.

A car was waiting outside to take the couple away after their meal.

British model and actress Sienna Miller will appear on the August issue of Nylon and in her interview, she spoke about her motivations for choosing to star in the upcoming G. I. Joe movie over doing another independent project, reports Perez Hilton.

“It’s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see,” said Miller, 27. “I was having to pay people to see my movies! Certainly really great directors have wanted to do films with me, but unless you’ve had a film that’s opened with a certain amount of money, you’re not bankable to studios. If you want to make amazing, artistic films, you’ve got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don’t have.”

Miller plays the Baroness in G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which hits theatres August 7 and is based on the toy franchise.

When it comes to Hollywood, as the old and overused saying goes, there’s no such thing as bad press.

But we know that’s just bull. Such a line is used for people who, let’s face it, crave bad publicity because they realize others have finally caught onto their uselessness and lack of talent.

Lindsay Lohan, I’m looking at you.

Yet somehow, the month of March barely gave us any of these headliners. Quite impressive considering Tinseltown is full of train wrecks and yesterday’s news.

So, as usual, here are the best and worst moments in entertainment, music, and everything else pop culture that this month had to offer.

5) Jessica Simpson’s “New” Bod: I actually wasn’t sure if this headline was a good one or a bad one. But it’s sad when a size two Jessica Simpson is classified as “huge” by various media outlets. Mind you, this is the same media that, one minute later, will question why young Hollywood’s caloric intake consists solely of air and water (it’s not as appetizing as it sounds. Seriously). Either way, recent photos show the country singer has slimmed down—and still maintained her curvy figure—proving that she still can have junk and look hot.

4) Aniston takes out the trash. Again: Apparently Mayer’s tweeting ways really pissed off Aniston to the point that she dumped the fame-whore. Yet Mayer claims he is not addicted to Twitter. However, this is the guy who practically runs after paparazzi/TMZ just to get THEIR attention. Yeah, I don’t buy it.

3) Desperate Housewife Gets Shocked: I still love Desperate Housewives. Even if it’s somewhat predictable. And while Nicollette Sheridan’s character should’ve died about three times already on the show, her recent accident may just be the end for her. Then again, she may “shock” us and come back. I mean, this is the woman who survived horrible relationships and an accidental attempted suicide. She’s a fighter. 

2) Earth Hour: If you turned off your lights for one hour during Earth Hour, you are pretty cool. This moment is quite the cultural movement as it requires millions of people around the world to commit one act simultaneously—in hopes of making the world a better place.  But if you are one of those few who threw an “anti-Earth Hour” party and turned on ALL your lights just to spite your neighbours, in the words of Red Foreman, “thanks dumbass.”

1) FNL is back: Today, I found out that the best show on television is back for another two seasons. Only bad news? Some of the most beloved cast members may not be back including the characters Matt Saracen, Tim Riggins and Lyla Garrity. FML.

5) Junos. They suck: Did anyone actually watch these awards this year? Wait; does anyone ever watch this show? I tried my best to follow (really I did) but even Russell Peters couldn’t save this lame excuse that claims it celebrates “real Canadian talent.”

4) T.I. Goes to the Slammer: Is there any point of sending celebrities to prison? Really? We all know that most, if not all, serve less time (or no time at all) than regular folks anyway. And even if T.I does spend a year (or less) in prison, we all know his music career is far from being “Dead and Gone.” Oh come on, you saw that one coming.

3) Madonna finds Jesus, only to lose him. Again: Even though the Church doesn’t like her, Madonna somehow managed to proclaim “Hallelujah” once again after finding Jesus.  Or did Jesus find her? Whatever. The point is, according to rumours, the cross burner songstress must’ve lost her faith because she dumped Jesus. Hmm, this is not what the Bible taught me…

2) Sienna Miller dreams the impossible: Miller needs to grab onto Madonna’s heavenly leftovers or pray really hard if she really wants the unfeasible to happen. After her much-publicized affair with Balthazar Getty, this actress now wants to mend bridges and bring back her good girl image. Ooh suggestion? Quit acting. You’re not that good anyway.

1) Richardson’s death: The news of Natasha Richardson’s death was tragic and heartbreaking, but people really need to stop reporting on how this actress could’ve still been alive if, among many other things, she accepted medical care in the first place. Let it be.

Sienna Miller is set to make her Broadway debut this fall.

The actress, who was born in New York but raised in Britain, will star in the Roundabout Theater Company’s production of the Patrick Marber play “After Miss Julie” for its 2009-10 season.

The three-character play, which updates August Strindberg’s 1888 class drama “Miss Julie” to 1945, takes place at a British country house and follows a wealthy young woman (Miller) involved with a family manservant.

The production will be directed by Mark Brokaw; additional casting, dates and a theatre will be announced later.

Miller, 27, has starred in such films as “Factory Girl” and “Casanova” and plays The Baroness in the upcoming “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.”

Sienna Miller sure knows how to break up a family.

Well, sort of.

The British actress is now rumoured to be causing drama between on-screen siblings on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters.

According to an E! Online report, costars Balthazar Getty and Matthew Rhys are “no longer speaking because of the Getty-Miller romance.”

Rhys, who used to date Miller, recently learned of his costar’s new romance through the show’s producers.

A source told E! Online that producers were looking for Getty sometime this summer, and thought they could get a hold of him through Miller. They then asked Rhys if he could help them find Miller.

Big mistake–Rhys had no idea they were dating.

Getty’s rep, however, insists there is no bad blood between the two: “May make an interesting bit of more gossip but completely untrue.”

Reps for the show and Rhys did not comment.

Despite reports that Balthazar Getty has been begging forgiveness from his wife, it appears that he and Sienna Miller are getting closer than ever.

The UK Daily Mirror reports that the pair were seen house hunting for a $22 million mansion.

“They came in together, and were very touchy-feely,” claimed a source. “There was a lot of hand-holding.There is a saltwater infinity pool and an open-air shower. Sienna loved that.”

The couple are looking for a secluded house that will protect them from prying eyes.

Getty appears to have left his wife, with whom he has children, for Miller, though sources claim the marriage was over before Miller entered the picture.

Actor, Balthazar Getty has announced that he and his wife Rosetta have separated.The couple have four children together.

Getty has been in the media spotlight recently after photos surfaced of him kissing a topless Sienna Miller.

According to MSN.com, Getty released a statement to the Associate Press saying,
“In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet, which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that, yes, indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further.”

This is not the first time that Miller has been linked to a taken man. Earlier this year rumours swirled that Miller was romantically involved with Sean “P.Diddy” Combs. At the time Combs was in a relationship with on-again, off-again girlfriend Kim Porter.

Although still married, Balthazar Getty isn’t afraid to hide his steamy affair with actress Sienna Miller, reports People magazine.

The “Brothers & Sisters” actor was spotted making out with the barely clad actress on a boat off the Amalfi coast.

Miller may have broken up with actor Rhys Ifans only a few weeks ago but, according to a source, Getty and Miller have been dating quietly “for at least two months.”

Getty, who has his wife’s name tattooed on his chest, married Rosetta in May 2000. The couple had their fourth child together 10 months ago. Although a source tells People that the couple “have been living separate lives for a while” the entire affair is a lot to handle for Getty’s wife.

“It’s humiliating,” a friend of Rosetta’s tells the magazine. “Rosetta left the country to protect the kids, and he continues to see Sienna publicly.”

Sexy SIENNA MILLER agreed to go topless as artist ANDY WARHOL’s muse EDIE SEDGWICK in new movie FACTORY GIRL after coming to terms with the socialite’s drug-addled depression.

The actress researched her role by talking to Sedgwick’s husband and brother and realized she wouldn’t be doing the model justice if she kept her clothes on for degrading drug and sex scenes in the film.

RESERVOIR DOGS star STEVE BUSCEMI discovered it pays to be a movie star after falling for the charms of SIENNA MILLER in LAYER CAKE – he discovered they shared the same agent and promptly hired her for his new film.

The actor admits he was smitten by the Brit and found an easy way of meeting her after offering her a part in his new movie INTERVIEW.

He says, “After watching Layer Cake, I went to the specials on the DVD to see if there were any deleted scenes of her. I just couldn’t get enough of her in the film.

“I found out that we were with the same agency, and we made the offer at like three in the afternoon, and by seven o’clock that evening she was on the phone with me and she said, ‘Yes!’”

Miller admits she had similar feelings for Buscemi – the actor had always fascinated her.

She tells America’s People magazine, “I had always just absolutely adored him as an actor… I thought he would be someone I would learn from, and it (the film) sounded like an interesting project. And that’s all it takes really.”

Behind every great man stands a great woman.

For pop culture icon Andy Warhol, his muse was debutante Edie Sedgwick.

Director George Hickenlooper takes you to back to the 1960s, a springboard of revolutionary movements, never-before-seen creativity, and the explosion of popular culture in “Factory Girl.”

He centres in on and exposes the rapid rise and fall of young heiress Edie Sedgwick (Sienna Miller).

The Factory – Warhol’s (Guy Pearce) artistic arena for art and film – triggers the curiosity of young Edie as she becomes easily seduced by the promise of stardom.

Sedgwick’s demise comes just as quick as her rise when she succumbs to the whirlwind of fame complete with incessant partying, pervasive drug-use and debauchery.

Miller’s provocative portrayal of Sedgwick earns her a nod proving she has the staying power to last…for at least another 15 minutes.

Her performance however, wasn’t the showstopper.

Pearce (The Count of Monte Cristo, Momento) provides an uncanny delivery of Andy Warhol compelling anyone to believe he’s the real deal.

A star-studded cast inundates the film including Saturday Night Live’s Jimmy Fallon as Chuck Wein (Sedgwick’s friend), American Beauty star Mena Suvari as Richie Berlin, and Hayden Christensen as Bob Dylan, Sedgwick’s rumoured lover.

Homegrown Canadian Christensen tried much too hard filling the shoes, playing a quintessential Bob Dylan.

The highlight of his performance wasn’t his acting, rather it was the love scene shared between him and Miller.

The steamy scene was so hot and heavy it’s easy for any viewer to assume they were actually engaging in the horizontal mambo.

“Factory girl” fascinates you with its images of psychedelic art, peace, love and rock n’ roll but fails to make you empathize with Sedgwick.

Edie Sedgwick may have been Warhol’s artistic inspiration, but “Factory Girl” makes her out to be a classic case of nothing more than poor little rich girl gone terribly wrong.

SIENNA MILLER has laughed off claims her sex scenes in FACTORY GIRL with co-star HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN were real – insisting she’s just a good actor.

The rumours started after the pair became close during the shoot and were exacerbated on the film’s release, when cinema-goers got to see graphic scenes of the couple cavorting.

Director GEORGE HICKENLOOPER fueled speculation when quizzed if the sex was real, by replying, “I can’t comment. You’ll have to ask Sienna about it.”

But Miller is keen to quash the claims, her publicist insisting, “When you do a love scene there is a minimum of five people in the room.

“There’s no real sex and the scene proves she knows how to give a good performance.”

The actress recently revealed she was terrified about watching the sex scenes at a screening of the film which she attended with her parents. She said, “I was sitting next to my dad and I just literally leant over and put my hands over (his eyes). It’s quite embarrassing. I can’t even watch it!”

Hollywood actress SIENNA MILLER has rubbished reports she has been enjoying a romance with LEONARDO DiCAPRIO.

Miller, who finally split from her boyfriend JUDE LAW near the end of last year following an on/off relationship, and DiCaprio were said to have canoodled at a Los Angeles nightclub recently.

However, Miller claims she had not seen DiCaprio for 18 months until last night’s Golden Globe Awards.

A source close to Jude Law and Sienna Miller is saying that the couple has finally ended their troubled relationship.

“It’s a mutual decision,” says a friend of the pair, according to People magazine. “They have definitely come to the end of the road. They tried to make it work but it failed.”

Not surprisingly, spokespeople for both Law and Miller won’t comment on their clients’ personal lives.

The source says that there isn’t another person involved this time — in 2004, the celebs broke off their relationship (and their engagement) when it was revealed that Law had an affair with Daisy Wright, his children’s nanny. The two stayed split for months, but eventually made up and reunited.

However, the friend does say that this split was somewhat sparked by Law’s relationship with ex-wife Sadie Frost through their four children (three together, and one from Frost’s previous relationship).

“There isn’t another person involved but it isn’t helped by Jude’s devotion to his kids,” says the source. “He and Sadie have a very friendly relationship for the sake of the kids but they are not getting back together.”

Actress Sienna Miller has apologized for remarks she made about the city of Pittsburgh in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, which came out today.

She was quoted as calling the city, where she is in town shooting her newest movie, an adaptation of the Michael Chabon novel The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, “Shitsburgh.”

The British actress went on to tell the writer: “Can you believe this is my life? Will you pity me when you’re back in your funky New York apartment and I’m still in Pittsburgh? I need to get more glamorous films.”

Miller said on Friday that her remarks were taken out of context and that she found the city and residents gracious.

What the 24-year-old said made Pittsburgh’s two major daily newspapers and Mayor Luke Ravenstahl said that Miller should see the town. “I think obviously we have a great town, and I disagree with her comments,” Ravenstahl said.

In a statement issued by her publicist, Miller said her comments referred to late-night production calls that made seeing the city difficult.

“What I have seen of it is beautiful. I came once before to visit The Andy Warhol Museum whilst researching a film and found both the city and its inhabitants warm and gracious,” she said.
