Trolling, you’re doing it right. Playing a joke on High School Quiz Show host Billy Costa, the team from Brookline High School decides to proclaim their love for actor Nicolas Cage by naming their favourite movies of his.
While I know Cage has an Oscar under his belt for Leaving Las Vegas, many of his roles such as Kick Ass, National Treasure and Season of the Witch have been highly questionable. With his over-exaggerations and creepy stares, it’s the subtle trolling by these students that make this video so hysterical.
Looks like “Never Say Never” will truly be Justin Bieber’s motto for life.
According to TVGuide, ABC is once again developing a sitcom that would be based on the teen superstar’s life. The single-camera comedy was originally set up at the network last year, but is being revived and still under consideration for next season.
Along with manager Scooter Braun, Bieber will serve as the executive producer for the show. So far, the project is untitled but plans to center around Bieber’s life before he got famous and focus on the future pop star’s awkward teenage years and his unorthodox family.
But those who are worried about the show shouldn’t fret too much as writers Matt Wilpert and Ben Nedivi are working to develop the script. Having previously written for the successful HBO show “Entourage”, it appears the sitcom could have a lot of potential.
Who’s excited? I KNOW WE ARE!!
If we could accurately describe our feelings it would be a mix between this….
THIS….
And this, because we are just so proud of our boy.

Do you think Weezy knows anything about sports?

What was the worst reality TV show of 2011. Well a recent poll has voted “Toddlers & Tiaras” as being the worst show.
Sodahead.com released a poll asking consumers what was the “Worst Reality of Show 2011″ and the public has chosen Toddlers & Tiaras with 32% of the vote. Coming in second was Kourtney and Kim Take New York (26%), followed by Jersey Shore (23%), Teen Mom (12%) and the Real Housewives series (7%).
We think “Toddlers & Tiaras” deserves to take this impressive award. Any show that features parents exploiting their daughters as little whores has rightly earned the title.
She may have platinum records and tons of awards on her fireplace mantel, but Taylor Swift also had a good head on her shoulders.
Catch her exclusive interview with Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.
In this video clip, Taylor talks about being a role model and always keeping her fans in mind when going about her day.
“Every singer out there with songs on the radio is raising the next generation, so make your words count,” Taylor says.
The interview is surely going to be a personal one for Taylor. Judging by this teaser, she sounds extremely passionate and articulate. You don’t find that many young stars with such qualities, anymore. So, this will really be an interesting interview to watch.
Rick Ross’ show in Greensboro, North Carolina will be cancelled tonight, although earlier reports said the show would go on.
TMZ says the deputy director of the Coliseum confirmed Rick will not be performing, but offered no further explanation.
As andPOP reported yesterday, Ross suffered a brain seizure on Friday which landed him in the hospital.
Things in Hollywood either make no complete sense or absolute sense. Fred Durst starring in a CBS sitcom titled Douchebag falls in the latter category.
The Limp Bizkit frontman is clearly stretching his acting abilities by playing a rockstar trying to balance work with family. Wow, I can smell an Emmy! (I hope readers can smell my sarcasm.)
According to Deadline, Durst’s manager, John Schneider, came up with the storyline and will work as a non-writing producer for the soon-to-be cancelled show.
If this show lasts longer than the brilliant Clone High did, there will be hell to pay.
T.I. isn’t out of prison 24 hours, and he already has a reality TV show with VH1.
VH1 says the show follows T.I. as he “re-adjusts to life as a free man after being incarcerated for nearly a year in a Federal prison in Arkansas.”
The show will follow the personal moments as T.I. is “reunited with his wife and kids and thrust back into society at this crucial juncture in his life.”
Good luck T.I.
Things are not going well for Paris Hilton. Her reality show The World According to Paris has not been renewed for another season.
NYmag reports the reason for the cancellation is terrible ratings.
However, a rep for the show tells TMZ, “The show just recently completed its run and no pick up decision has been made.”
Poor Paris.
Adele has postponed five of her North American tour dates, reports CTV.
The British singer has had to delay the tour because of laryngitis.
Columbia Records said in a statement that the 23-year-old was diagnosed last Thursday in Minneapolis. Doctors then immediately ordered her to rest, and her show was cancelled.
Adele then apparently performed in Denver on Saturday, but could not perform the next day in Salt Lake City because ”her illness worsened.”
The soul singer posted on her Facebook page: “I’ve been told to cancel tonights show in Minneapolis because my voice has gone. I hate to cancel especially at such short notice…”
The tour will resume June 4 in San Francisco, meanwhile performances in Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver have been rescheduled.
She’s such a trooper for at least attempting to perform in Denver. I think she needs the rest though, she’s been on a whirlwind tour and has been busy steadily since her album came out. Enjoy the rest!
The most notable moments from andPOP’s “Something New” on AUX TV.
Hugh Laurie is set to quit ‘House,’ reports CTV.
The British actor, who plays Dr. Gregory House in the medical drama, thinks his run on the show will soon come to an end after shooting on the eighth season concludes this summer.
“The end of that season, right now looks like the end of the show. Well, that’s as far as they’ve got me for,” said Laurie.
Of all things, the 51-year-old star is now focusing on his debut solo blues album ‘Let Them Talk,’ which he is promoting with performances throughout Europe this month.
“The acting muscles don’t know what they’re doing, actually. Perhaps they should, but they don’t. There’s very little about this. I don’t know maybe there’s a repetitive action in music — if you do your scales and your fingers are nimble, then there are certain things you just know you can do without too much difficulty.”
“Acting for some reason isn’t like that. It doesn’t become automated in quite the same way.”
Hugh, who moved to Los Angeles for the show in 2003, recently admitted he was surprised at the success of ‘House’ but was growing disillusioned with it. ”I never thought this would last seven years, just two weeks I thought. I get tired of getting up at four in the morning. Some days are harder than others.”
I can’t imagine the show without him as the antagonistic Dr. House, so I’m pretty sure if he leaves the show will end. I never liked the show, I personally found him a very annoying character, but I’m sure many will be saddened by this news.
There are two women who are the most important in Howard Stern’s life, his wife Beth and his co-host Robin Quivers. Unfortunately Robin has indicated her relationship with Howard may be coming to an end.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Quivers revealed she might be saying goodbye to the man who helped make her a household name.
“I love to do radio and television and I’ve always wanted my own television show, so I’ve been putting out feelers for those kinds of things,” said Quivers, 58, told the website. “(I could) express myself in ways that I don’t necessarily get to express myself on our show.”
“It will be like a talk show, but with subjects that I’d be interested in. I think I have some interesting things to say and I don’t think anybody out there is saying them,” she added.
The two radio personalities have worked together since 1981 when they met in Washington. If Robin leaves, Howard’s show will certainly be different. Will his show last without Robin?
Lauren Conrad is not loved by MTV like she thought she was. MTV bought a show following Lauren’s life after “The Hills” as she tried to build a career as a fashion designer and author. Unfortunately, MTV deemed the show was too “high brow” for their audience.
She tells the Hollywood Reporter, “We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too highbrow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life.”
“We agreed going into the project that this show would be an ‘aspirational’ one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships. We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”
MTV is probably right. Numbers don’t lie and it seems that people prefer the stupidity of “Jersey Shore” rather than an up and coming professional. Snooki, you have won this round.
It looks like Entourage producer Mark Wahlberg stopped talking to animals long enough to make a new comedy pilot!
The project, called Home Game, was purchased by mega network CBS and should launch into production soon. The show is loosely based on the life of the show’s co-producter, Superbowl vet and NFL pro Mark Schlereth.
Sports! Comedy! Together! Very inventive Mr. Wahlberg. Say hi to your mother for me, ok?
Any thoughts on the new pilot? Is this a money grab on Wahlberg’s part or do you think the show actually stands a chance?
It’s a couple of days old, but in case you haven’t seen it.
A Kings of Leon concert was shut down Friday night in St. Louis after pigeons started crapping on the band, reports CNN.
“Jared [Followill, the band's bassist] was hit several times during the first two songs,” said Andy Mendelsohn of Vector Management. “It’s not only disgusting – it’s a toxic health hazard. They really tried to hang in there.”
“I was hit by pigeons on each of the first three songs,” said the musician and self-professed germophobe. “We had 20 songs on the set list. By the end of the show, I would have been covered from head to toe.”
After the cancelation, the band issued a statement via their publicist. “We want to apologize to our fans in St. Louis and will come back as soon as we can.” Added the band’s publicist, “No fans got pooped on as far as we know.”
Mr. T is not a man we think you would want to piss off. However the producers of the new “A-Team” movie may need to face the wrath of Mr. T.
Mr. T has screened the new movie and he is less than impressed. “It was too graphic for me. I’ve no doubt it will do big business at the box office but it’s nothing like the show we turned out every week,” he tells the Guardian.
“People die in the film and there’s plenty of sex but when we did it, no one got hurt and it was all played for fun and family entertainment. These seem to be elements nobody is interested in anymore,” Mr. T says.
Two members of the original cast, Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict, are said to have filmed cameos. “Mr. T apparently refused to make an appearance,” the Guardian writes
We have a feeling someone may get a beat down by Mr. T.
Careful, kiddies, this is going to be a wild one.
Canada’s own rockers Billy Talent are coming to Toronto, but shhh…if you want in on the action, best not to tell too many people.
The band, who will soon be embarking on a summer whirlwind of European music festivals as well as a couple of shows with Green Day, is playing a free show at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern tonight (Tuesday, June 8), reports eyeweekly.com.
The (up until recently) secret show is part of Nu Music Night and also features KO and Noble Blood. Billy Talent is set to hit the stage at 11:15 p.m. However, there are no advance tickets for this show (remember, it’s free!) so if you want to be part of it, best to arrive early…very early. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
We wish you luck!
