Justin Bieber has a lot of superfans, some creepier than others. We love them all, but especially this girl who entered her fanvideo for JB’s Girlfriend contest. We also talk about an important anti-cannibalism PSA brought to us by Andy Samberg (he’s always there for us). Then we talk about a little known sport called shin-kicking.
Man, if someone told a lot of my friends that shin-kicking was an actual sport, their years of brotherly/sisterly play fighting might have really paid off. This week, the shin-kicking championships were held at Gloucester’s Cotswold Olimpicks.
The tradition first began in the 1600s and basically involves kicking the shins out of your competitor. There’s no modern equipment allowed, though you’re allowed to stuff hay in your pants for padding. Other then that, it’s quite similar to wrestling.
All it takes to enter is sheer courage, two feet, hay and strong shins of steel.
