Yahoo News shares that the two biopics on the life of the famed 70s porn star, Linda Lovelace. She passed away in 2002 at the age of 53 after getting into a serious car crash.
“Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story” wont star the troubled actress Linday Lohan, as we all thought. Instead, Malin Akerman (The Watchmen) will take the lead. We assume unlike Lindsay, Malin can come to work on time and not appear drugged out. Malin definitely has more potential to become the next big thing in Hollywood. Yahoo News also reports Sharon Stone will play the role of Linda’s mother.
The other biopic is simply titled Lovelace. The Hollywood Reporter says Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls, Dear John) will play the adult film star most famously known for “Deep Throat”. Amanda Seyfried has that squeaky clean, cookie cutter image with her blonde hair and gentle blue eyes. It would be rather entertaining to see her play such a controversial and sexual woman. Peter Sarsgaard (An Education, Green Lantern) will play her husband, Chuck Traynor.
Both movies look promising based solely on the actresses playing the lead. I personally may not be able to handle both movies, so whichever one hits theatres first may be the one to see. Looking forward to seeing the trailers.
Sharon Stone is not welcome at this year’s Shanghai International Film Festival.
During the Cannes Film Festival, Stone made comments that the recent earthquake in China that killed tens of thousand of people, may have been karma for China’s treatment of Tibet.
Stone was invited last year because festival organizers were impressed by her charitable work.
Film festival organizers said that she would not be invited back to the festival soon and are demanding an apology.
Stone has said that she was “deeply sorry” for her comments and offered to take part in the ongoing relief effort in China.

SHARON STONE stunned audience members at a charity auction in Berlin, Germany on Monday night by enticing participants to bid by calling them “nasty little Germans.”
The 48-year-old was acting as an auctioneer at the Cinema for Peace gala and was attempting to guide the bidding process onstage.
First, the bossy actress silenced high-profile guests with an extended “shhhh” and then made little hand gestures saying, “You talk, you bid; you move, you bid; you look at me wrong, you bid.
“You got it? You naughty little Germans. Naughty, nasty little Germans.”
The BASIC INSTINCT star continued on her bizarre rant and pretended to kick something adding, “That’s why I keep coming back. ‘Cause you’re naughty. Nasty. I like it!”

No I?m not describing Sharon Stone?s career or Basic Instinct 2. This is actually the first scene in the movie.
Basic Instinct 2 is a vanity picture for Sharon Stone to show she?s still got it, and it?s absolute trash.
In Basic Instinct 2, Stone?s character uses her sexiness to seduce a dim psychologist, piss off Lupin from Harry Potter (he?s a cop) and befriend people who end up dying. The message I got from this movie is that Sharon Stone is a sexy attractive woman who can do whatever she wants. Why do I think this? Because the movie hammers this point home every other line.
The dialogue in Basic Instinct 2 is laughable (the audience I was watching it with laughed aloud during most of the movie). There are scenes where Stone will try to look alluring, but the result is, well, someone trying to look sexy. There are also scenes where Stone will enter wearing a jacket, only to take it off to reveal a dress. This will turn the male protagonist on, and he will let her do whatever she wants for him. I?m not lying to you, this happens more then once.
Also to show that her character is seductive and all that, she?smokes when she’s not allowed to! Apparently, the movie was set in 1957, when smoking was sexy.
In the movie, Stone seduces Michael, a psychologist, who is applying for the Douglas Fellowship. We are supposed to think Michael is a top psychologist even though over the course of the movie, I started to question if he wrote his doctoral thesis in crayon.
The movie has its moments, like when you realise that Sharon Stone is really well lit while the rest of the cast?not so much. And you get to hear Professor Lupin call her the c-word.
Basic Instinct 2 aims to be sexy, erotic, suspenseful, and the vehicle that will launch Sharon Stone back onto the A-list.
It fails on all accounts and the movie is a train wreck in every sense of the word.
And in case you?re wondering, no you don?t get to see what made people got to see in the first Basic Instinct. You can, however, see: an anal sex scene, two Sharon Stone sex scenes, multiple scenes of Sharon Stone nude, Sharon Stone repeatedly talking about orgasms, and, of course, the whole Lupin calling her that c-word thing.
