Although Kim Kardashian’s wedding was considered a huge celebrity event, one celebrity was too cool to show up. Justin Bieber decided to ditch the wedding.
HollywoodLife reports he stayed on the East Coast and attended Selena Gomez’s concert. Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun tweeted:
“Congrats to @KimKardashian. have a great day. wish we could be there but we know you will be smiling all the way to the alter! cheers!”
Well Justin is certainly a loyal boyfriend, no two ways about that. Do you think Justin should have gone to the wedding?
During a recent live chat with Radio Station Q104, the DJ presented her with that question. Selena’s response? “Next question.”
So we think that means Justin is awesome at kissing, or terrible. What do you think?
As if we haven’t seen enough Justin Bieber in the last couple of years, we’re about to see a lot more…literally, that is.
Daniel Edwards, a pop-culture sculptor who has also sculpted a nude Paris Hilton playing with her dog and a nude Britney Spears giving birth on all fours, is now going to display a statue of Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez blended together. And yes, they are going to be nude.
Well, pretty much nude as their privates will be covered by a maple leaf and a Lone Star honouring Bieber’s Canadian background and Gomez’s Texan roots.
Though there is no set date on when it will be finished, the statue will be unveiled at New Fine Arts…an adult store in Dallas. Go figure.
Sigh. As if the world isn’t already getting enough of their relationship. This is just so wrong on so many levels.
Reports said Gomez had called off the relationship with Bieber, but it doesn’t appear that’s the case. Bieber even talked about how he think Selena is so cool.
Bieber told MTV, “I feel like she’s relatable to a lot of different teenagers. She’s kind of girl-next-door; she’s real cool. She’s very nice. She’s a very nice girl.”
Is Selena Gomez Going to put on Weight? Well if her career ever takes a tumble and she is no longer in the spotlight, inevitably that will happen as her new career will have an impact on her eating habits.
She told Buzz Magazine: “I’d love to open my own bakery, I can’t bake but I’d like to open one and have people bake for me and get really fat!” Doesn’t sound much like work to us. In fact it sounds like heaven.”
This would certainly be a huge change in her physique. But if diabetes and unhealthy lifestyle make her happy – then go ahead Selena!
OK – we are blowing this a tad out of proportion. Selena Gomez posted a picture to Facebook which shows the teen celebrity throwing back a cold one with a few friends.
Does this mean the sweet and innocent Selena is over? Is Selena on the road of rebellion, just like her forefathers Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears??
Not exactly. As The Huffington Post points out, Gomez and crew are drinking “Butterbeer.” You may recall its the drink of choice for young wizards, as we learn in Harry Potter.
At least she is not so dumb to actually post a picture of herself doing something illegal. That’s the good news.
Bieber came on stage and greeted his girlfriend Selena with a hug, and then sang “Favorite Girl,” and Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River.”
TMZ reports Justin snuck up on some guests who were understandably surprised. He then hopped on the mic saying, ”We just crashed it. We heard a party so we decided to just come. So let’s party.”

This year is hosted by Selena Gomez, and we are curious to see if her boyfriend Justin Bieber will be showing up. Anyways the good people at Much gave us a sneak peak of the show. When Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital on June 9 shortly after a taping at the Tonight Show, complaining of nausea and a sever headache, many feared for her health and wished her a quick recovery. When she returned to the hospital two days later and pinned off her sickness as a result of malnutrition, many feared that she would be following in the footsteps of her long-time friend and co-Disney spawn Demi Lovato, who checked into rehab a while back due to emotional and physical issues, one of them being an eating disorder.
Gomez was quick to clear up any speculation or rumors surrounding her recent illness, including an eating disorder and, as crazy as it sounds, a possible pregnancy scare brought on as a joke by none other than Perez Hilton himself. While on the Kidd Kraddick radio show, Gomez said, “I do eat! The problem is is I don’t eat right…I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”
As much as we are prone to taking everything celebrities say with a grain of salt, I think in this instance we can actually believe Gomez when she says she does not have an eating disorder. Not to mention the fact that she has an amazing mom who will no doubt keep her in line. “She’s been supermom right now,” Gomez said. “She’s definitely shoving vitamins down my throat and following me around.”
On Kidd Kraddick, Gomez also confessed to loving junk food, including M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers, and Goobers. “I have to have creamed spinach,” she added, “or I have to have cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy.”
Whatever the case, we are extremely happy that it is not an eating disorder that Gomez is battling with, but rather a mere case of wanting to eat too much unhealthy food.
What’s interesting to point out is that in the June/July 2011 issue of Teen Vogue, of which Gomez adorns the cover, Gomez told Lauren Waterman that she recorded her single, “Who Says,” for her fans, saying, “I just thought they needed it, because of bullying.” And it was bullying that caused Gomez’s fellow Barney and Friends pal, Lovato, to take a downward spiral full of eating disorders and self-mutilation.
“I’ve spoken openly about being bullied throughout the past few years, but one thing that I’ve never been able to feel comfortable talking about was the effects that it had on me afterward,” Lovato told ABC News in an interview. “I literally didn’t know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, ‘Well, you’re fat.’”
It seems maybe Gomez had a double-incentive when putting out that particular single. Regardless, we are extremely happy to see her back on her feet and performing, not missing a beat and doing all she can not to let her fans down. We just can’t wait to see her co-host this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards on June 19!
Selena Gomez has apparently been suffering from malnourishment and exhaustion, reports CTV.
The singer and actress, who lately has been ill and receiving tremendous support from fans, was hospitalized on Friday when she fell ill with nausea and a severe headaches.
“I was very malnourished. I was dehydrated and very low on iron and exhausted. So, I just gotta take care of myself,” Gomez says.
The 18-year-old has missed promotions of her new film ‘Monte Carlo’ in Santa Monica, California, and although disappointed, she is ready to head back to work.
“I’m doing great, much better. I was very disappointed I couldn’t be here, but I’m here now,” she tells Access Hollywood.
Gomez has been dating 17-year-old pop star Justin Bieber since the beginning of this year, and Bieber recently tweeted his support for the star, saying ”getwellselena.”
Glad she’s back on track and ready to go. She has to host the MMVAs in five days, so she needs to be in tip top shape!
After complaining about headaches and nausea on Thursday, Selena Gomez has undergone numerous blood tests, reports TMZ.
Gomez was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after a taping for “The Tonight Show.” Doctors have yet to identify the problem.
Interestingly she started having problems after appearing at “The Tonight Show” – well Jay Leno could certainly make anybody feel like crap.
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were involved in a high-speed car chase last week, reports Canoe Jam.
While Bieber was back in his hometown of Stratford, Ont., the pop star and his girlfriend, Gomez, apparently allowed his bodyguard, Kenny Hamilton, to drive recklessly through the streets of his hometown to avoid pursuing paparazzi.
The vehicle, a charcoal-coloured SUV, is said to have blown through red lights and speeded well above the legal limit.
The paparazzi were apparently tipped on Bieber’s whereabouts after fans tweeted that they say him at his grandfather’s house. A crowd then grew outside the home and three Toronto paparazzi were on site.
John White, celeb photographer, says: “Did I miss some shots because of my call not to follow? Yes, but I didn’t put anyone at risk either,” White said. “Really … putting people’s lives at risk just to avoid being photographed?”
I understand that the paparazzi can be annoying, but it’s not any better to risk the lives of everyone else around you. Then again, though, I don’t know what it’s like to be famous.
Hot off the heels of MTV’s Movie Awards that aired last night, the presenters and performers have now been revealed for Muchmusic’s 2011 Video Awards.
The event will happen on Sunday, June 19 at 9 p.m. ET, of course airing live on MuchMusic and MuchHD in Canada, as well as on FUSE in the U.S.
Some presenters confirmed for the event include Twilight’s Nikki Reed, R&B artist Shawn Desman, party group LMFAO, The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki and recording artist Blake McGrath.
Expect lots of great performances as well. Aside from previously announced performers such as Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, City and Colour, Lady Gaga, and co-host Selena Gomez, the event will host performances by Simple Plan, Fefe Dobson, Far East Movement and Down With Webster.
Some wristbands for the 2011 MMVAs are actually being given away on Friday, June 10 during a NEW.MUSIC.LIVE. episode at MuchMusic headquarters in Toronto, so be sure to check that out.

Allstar Weekend is easily one of the most down to earth bands I’ve ever interviewed. And that’s a lot coming from me.
I met the band at The Sutton Place Hotel, which, if you know the selection of luxury hotels in Toronto, is a modest choice. Not too fancy. Pretty low key.
The band just finished a show last night at the Sound Academy, one of the last legs of their Canadian tour before heading up to London, ON. I ask how it went.
“It was really awesome seeing how many kids came out,” says Zachary, the lead singer and guitarist. “Toronto just seems like a cool city for bands, all the kids are really into it which is really exciting for us. We can’t wait to come back.”
“Fans here know our lyrics more than in America, it’s crazy. They know all the words,” says Cameron, the bassist.
Leave it to us crazy Canadians to leave an impression on them. The band also paid a visit to the MuchMusic studios a day earlier, which was of course, met with a sold out audience.
So between sold out television appearances and a passionate, driven fan base, how does the band prepare themselves for their shows?
“I like to light a bunch of candles, sit in a dark room. I’ll put on the Spice Girls,” says Nathan, the guitarist.
Pink has slammed 18-year-old pop star Selena Gomez for painting a horse fuchsia during filming of her latest music video, reports CTV.
Pink, who is a huge supporter and campaigner for PETA, lashed out at the young singer after she was spotted filming a clip for her new video ‘I Love You Like A Love Song’ on a Malibu beach with several brightly-painted creatures.
Writing on her twitter feed , Pink said: “If there are any animal activists around Malibu – at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame.”
“Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.”
“whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty. i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.(sic)”
However, a representative for Selena’s record company has insisted no animals were harmed during the filming of the video. Gomez’s spokesperson said in a statement: “It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken.”
“A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising.”
It’s not so much the physical harm to the horses but the emotional harm – I highly doubt they want to be painted fuchsia. That’s cruelty in itself. I respect Pink for all she does with animal activism – but do you think she went a little overboard with this comment?
Selena Gomez opened up to Seventeen Magazine recently about her life, and much of the conversation focused on her relationship with Justin Bieber.
The young couple has kept their relationship under wraps until the Oscars, when they stepped out to afterparties together in coordinating red-and-black outfits.
“I don’t like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m eighteen, and I’m going to fall in love. I’m going to hang out with people, and I’m going to explore myself, and I’m okay with that.”
