Both Katy Perry and James Franco were infected by the “Call Me Maybe” craze that’s been sweeping across the ENTIRE world for some time now, both releasing separate videos of themselves singing and dancing with friends to Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit. Try to deny that you haven’t done the same thing. Yea, you can’t.
Purple-haired Katy Perry released a video of herself dancing with friends in fast and slow motion with an orange monkey at Coachella.
Then James Franco, who you’ve previously seen singing to Selena Gomez, continued to delight us by posting a video of himself driving and singing “Call Me Maybe.” Unfortunately he doesn’t know all the words but man, he destroys the chorus.
Justin Bieber and his friends initially whipped together a video montage of him and his famous buddies dancing to the song, which turned out to be great publicity for his artist. Admittedly, I blast the song on the car radio whenever it’s on but I can’t help but wonder, will we ever get sick of it?
Well that wasn’t planned. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were caught on the kiss-cam at the Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
They looked embarrassed at first but when it came time to step up and be a man Justin leaned in. Unfortunately, their strong love vibes didn’t save the Lakers form losing to San Antonio.
Selena Gomez is temporarily pausing her music career to focus on acting, specifically on a new action flick called “The Getaway,” with Ethan Hawke.
With the help of her stepdad, she took a moment to make a random video to answer fan questions. ”One of the favourite things I’ve been doing this year is being really focused on more acting. For me it’s been really fun to kind of take risks and do things that are completely different. Maybe some of you guys might not be comfortable with it but I’m not doing anything that I’m completely uncomfortable with doing.”

The 19-year-old has also been busy promoting her debut fragrance, because you’re apparently not successful if you don’t brand your scent. She told Teen Vogue about the fragrance, which will be out this summer. She put it together with the help of her fans and describes it as fruity but strong.

James Franco, you never cease to confuse me.
With his hair in cornrows for his role in the upcoming film “Spring Breakers”, Franco can be seen in this video singing along to Selena Gomez’s single “Love You Like a Love Song” very expressively.
Posted on his WhoSay account, I can conclude that Franco should probably stick to his day job of being an actor/professor/superhero than to make a name for himself in the music industry.
After all, he can’t have it all.
And while I still love James Franco, the cornrows make him look like K-Fed and it’s really giving me the creeps.

Katy Perry outsmarted the Kids’ Choice slimers by wearing a radioactive sewer green colour. The small act of defiance would camouflage any disgusting sludge thrown on her during the awards by making it look like she had already been poured on. Damn Katy Perry for thinking ahead! From then on, any spontaneous sliming throughout the ceremony would be so two hours ago.

Like Katy Perry, Selena Gomez chose to go with a midriff baring top (gasp!) but manages to make it parent-endorsed by choosing white lace to counteract its risque nature. The outfit is by Dolce & Gabbana.
Kristen Stewart
I’m not into Kristen Stewart’s matching shoes and dress. [Warning: cheesy joke coming.] It makes me feel blue. The hair pulled back with the lacey Stella McCartney dress makes it look a little too pristine for the Kids’ Choice Awards. She could have at least added her trademark worn out Converse.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone gets the “Serious Fashion for Serious People Award.” Her Antonio Berardi dress is chic without being too stuck up and without being too… slime green.

Josh Hutcherson roughed it in a pair of jeans, plaid shirt and beige jacket. It’s a little too casual (especially the shoes) but we’ll take it. Swoon!

One Direction donned their tightest pants (I’m looking at you Louis) and firmest hair gel. Notice how their strategic clothing binds them together. Niall and Zayn wear white on the top and dark pants on the bottom. Harry and Liam wear dark blazers on top and white pants on the bottom. Then there’s Louis… who is glueing the band together in all white.

Just like Louis, Cody Simpson wore all white and even buttoned his collared shirt all the way to the top (he was feeling a little shy). He also managed to pose with his sunglasses just so for the entire night. The pose is a dangerous tactic to hook more fans, but he knows it never fails.
In this behind the scenes clip for his new song “Boyfriend,” Justin Bieber talks about how he stays committed to girlfriend Selena Gomez. He says a good boyfriend is someone who can make a commitment and who does things for their girlfriend spontaneously, ie a little fondue for two by the fire?
He says when he was writing the song he was thinking about things he would legitimately do. So basically, “Boyfriend” is a Dating 101 Manual for the romantically challenged…

Selena Gomez plays Mavis in the new animated film Hotel Transylvania. The movie follows Dracula (played by Adam Sandler) who operates a high-end resort, far away from the human world. But the overprotective vampire loses it when a boy discovers the resort and falls for his teenage daughter, Mavis (Selena Gomez).
It’s hard to tell whether animated films — let alone Adam Sandler films — will be funny or not just from the trailer. This particular teaser doesn’t present strong dialogue and we don’t even get a glimpse of what the film is really about.
On the bright side, it shows a lot of spooky and imaginative animation. I’m also routing for it because it has such a strong cast, including Andy Samberg and Steve Buscemi. The film comes out on November 1, strangely AFTER Halloween.

Justin Bieber made a special appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show today to introduce his artist Carly Rae Jepsen.
After her performance of “Call Me Maybe,” Carly and Justin sat down with Ellen and shared how the record deal came along. Justin said he first heard her song on the radio in Canada [cue cheers]. When he was told she was available, Justin decided to call her up and offer her a record contract — like it’s an everyday thing.
Justin also premiered 15 seconds of his new song “Boyfriend.” Ellen tried to predict the melody a couple weeks ago, though thankfully her ability to predict the future was off because his version of the song sounds much better.
So far, Justin has been the best promotion Carly has ever gotten. Her song is catchy on its own, but Justin has wisely used social media to showcase “Call Me Maybe.” His girlfriend Selena Gomez tweeted a photo of him smiling at Carly’s song and he also called up a bunch of his conveniently famous friends to create a homemade music video, which has more than triple the views than the one Carly made. So the promotion goes both ways…

A bloody but well-dressed Justin Bieber evoked Fight Club for an April cover shoot with Complex Magazine. In the issue, the 18-year-old opened up about how he deals with negative criticism: “If I’m making great music and there’s no reason for people to dislike me, that’s when it’s going to make me upset. People just need to take a chance and listen. If they don’t want to take a chance, then I don’t know. That’s going to be the biggest problem, to make them feel like it’s cool for them to like my music.”
Justin also touched on his relationship with girlfriend Selena Gomez, saying that while the couple prefers privacy there’s no way they can hide the relationship completely, because that would be unfair to them: “It’s like, ‘You take this car, and I’ll take this car, and then we’ll meet up at the spot. Then, you go in this door, I’ll go in this door. We’ll end up crossing ways. You get back in this car. We’ll cross over, do a James Bond. You go through the kitchen. I’ll go through the back area. Much like when Lindsay Lohan died her hair red, Rihanna broke “world news” when she got a tiny tattoo across her neck. The Caribbean singer’s new tattoo is by her favourite artist BangBang, who also worked on the controversial gun tattoo across her ribcage. He also did the “shhh” tattoo Rihanna has on her finger, the Roman numerals on her neck and the small stars on her back. It’s her 15th tattoo so we don’t know what will come next… but we propose a birthday cake.
Selena and Justin go to the hospital
Selena Gomez and her boyfriend Justin Bieber were spotted leaving an L.A. medical centre yesterday with a bandage around Gomez’s arm. She was probably just getting blood drawn but it was only last June that she fell ill of dehydration backstage at The Tonight Show.
It’s March Break!! And suitably, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens just happen to be filming their upcoming movie Spring Breakers.
The movie follows four college girls who land in jail after robbing a fast food restaurant to fund their spring break vacation. They’re bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who naturally wants them to do some dirty work in exchange.
The ladies were seen in Florida today in their teeny bikinis riding around on Buddy scooters. What’s work for them is a dream day for me everyone. The movie doesn’t have a release date yet but filming wraps up this month.

Justin Bieber reportedly bought this $10.8 million love nest for his 18th birthday. The Daily Mail is reporting that the five bedroom, 9,400 square foot home, which is currently being rented by Ashton Kutcher, has a view of Lake Hollywood, a movie theatre, a bar, a gym, a massage room and a massive kitchen.
I’m always skeptical when I see photos of celebrities supposed real estate investments, especially because this listing still appears to be “active.” But if it’s real then it could probably fit my old apartment 20 times over.

The 19-year-old salvia connoisseur was photographed with her friend exiting Therapeutic Health Care, which sells legal medical marijuana for anyone with a prescription.
The story is blowing up on gossip sites even though there’s one small major detail missing: no one actually knows what Cyrus bought! Cheers to deduction skills.
Cyrus became known as a marijuana enthusiast after her birthday video leaked, in which she jokes: “You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake — you know you smoke way too much f***in’ weed.”
We’ll leave the hypothesizing up to you for now.
From now on, Selena Gomez will permanently be wearing a music note on her wrist. Selena revealed: “I was named after a singer and music obviously is a big influence for me. And there’s music stuff with my mom that means a lot to me, too.”Her boyfriend Justin Bieber is already a tattoo connoisseur, though they’re generally a bit more biblical in nature. Bieber already has a dove on his hip and the face of Jesus on his calf.

Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen got major kudos a little while ago when Selena Gomez shared an Instagram photo of her boyfriend Justin Bieber grinning while listening to “Call Me Maybe.
Those two celebrities, along with Ashley Tisdale and a few other relevant celebrities, released a homemade video of them dancing to the song. I gotta say, it’s a pretty fun video and it’s nice to see them supporting a fellow artist. We usually see celebs glammed out for the red carpet or made out to be rivals in tabloids so it’s nice to see them hanging out during their downtime, being regular teens.
It’s pretty hard to make out in this video, but a girl is claiming Justin Bieber said “fuck you” to her. Bieber spent Valentine’s Day at Disneyland with his girlfriend Selena Gomez and his family.
In the video, the teenager is hanging out with her friends and shouts to him “I follow you on Twitter” just before he enters the tunnel on a ride. It sounds like the teen heart throb responds with “fuck you” and he supposedly flipped his middle finger.
If it’s true, I understand why he would get angry. Would you really want a bunch of people following you around an amusement park during your downtime? Admittedly, it does sound like his voice but the video is such bad quality we’re not sure if it’s actually him. What do you think?
No! Of course Selieber (read: Selena and Justin) are not engaged. That was a trending topic today after Selena Gomez posted a photo of a sparkling ring with a diamond-encrusted “J”on it and the accompanying message “I’m finally home : )”
A promise ring? Maybe, but an engagement ring it is certainly not. We’re guessing the J stands for Justin Bieber, but what do we know? The rumour comes only a month after the gossip mills speculated an engagement just last December. They’re a little too young anyway, considering Selena is 19 and Justin is 18.
