Jersey Shore is finally ending after six epic seasons. MTV confirmed that the upcoming season will be its final, meaning it’ll be the last time you can seriously indulge in conversations about hairspray, GTL, DTF and other acronyms that you never fully understood.
While we’re not particularly happy to say bon voyage to the cast (it’s a guilty pleasure) we can’t really imagine them trading beer funnels for baby bottles and going to Club Karma to hook up… with their serious, significant other.
The final season starts on Oct. 4 on MTV but there will be a commemorative retrospective on Sept. 6 called “Gym, Tan, Look Back.” Still, we’re pretty sure this won’t be the last you see of them — some will probably continue filming their spin-off shows while others will inevitably score a sausage infomercial or two.
Are you sad to see the show go or relieved you’ll never have to see The Situation’s abs ever again?

Season 6 of Jersey Shore just got the “go ahead” and I have so many questions. Like, how healthy is it for a pregnant Snooki to stay in this alcohol-fuelled, smush house?
All eight cast members are set to start production this summer in Seaside Heights. Well… nine if you include the bun in Snooki’s oven.
Vinny recently joked around with E! News that he wants to turn the house’s “smush room” into a baby room for Snooki and Jionni’s offspring. Who knows, if they go long enough maybe we’ll get a spinoff called “Jersey Shore: Full House,” featuring Pauly D and Vinny as the weird uncles and Deena as the creepy babysitter.
Despite declining ratings, MTV already announced spinoffs featuring Pauly D and Snooki with JWoww. Fewer than 5 million viewers tuned in for the final episodes of Season 5, but maybe Snooki’s pregnancy will be enough to draw in more viewers.
Will you watch it?
Another season cometh and went for HBO’s Entourage, and what ironically made the season finale was one of the celebrity cameo appearances by Oscar winner Matt Damon- who played himself trying to “Jason-Bourne” Vince into donating money to his Children’s Charity.
It’s pretty clear that Damon’s performance was truly a gut-buster. I personally was on the couch cracking up seeing him repeatedly stick-arm Vince into joining the foundation, donating money, and then donating more money.
Though the real performance came in the post-episode credits where we see Damon really lose a gasket. Check it out.

When Bob Saget agrees only to speak to Eric, and demands to have sex in Murray’s office in exchange to sign as a member, Scott decides to make Eric the one to forward the insane idea to Murray.
It appears that Entourage is really reaching new heights with it’s cameos of athletes.
First Tom Brady- beyond awesome, then a brief Steve Nash- cool stuff, but now viewers should prep themselves to see one of the biggest global superstars on the planet, the King himself, LeBron James!
Not sure exactly which episode it’ll be, but Jeremy Piven -a huge fan of the NBA and James himself- took a little video of the guy on the set:
This Week On Entourage:
Turtle watches on in pain as Drama and Jamie-Lynn kiss on-screen for the Five Towns episode. Eric joins the gang and tells them about his slip-up of calling Ashley “Sloan” the night before.

Eric drops by Ashley’s place and apologizes again for the mistake. When she becomes skeptical, he promises to never lie to her again.
What do a stainless steel ping pong table, personal limousine driver, PlayStation 3 console, personal poolside cabana, private yacht excursion cruise, jet skis, and dinner for four all have in common?
They’re some of the many bells n’ whistles included the “Entourage Package” at the W Hotel in South Beach, Miami.
You read correctly. According to promomagazine.com, now for those yearning to get as close as possible to the HBO hit comedy series, the three-level bungalow inspired by the boys’ extravagant Hollywood lifestyle is as good as it gets- ringing up at $5,000 per night with a two-night minimum.
“It’s a true branded experience in terms of the experiential elements and has a very strong brand personality,” Chris Spadaccini, HBO’s vice president of advertising and promotions, said.
The promotion, launched in anticipation of season six, is being marketed at the hotels and on parent Starwood Hotels Web site. Throughout the promotion, which ends Sept. 27, all guests will also have access to a complimentary “Entourage” channel that includes episodes from seasons four and five, in addition to behind the scenes clips from season six.

At the tournament, the boys meet an exhausted Ari who was forced to sleep on the couch for the first time in 15 years, because of the lie he told his wife about Andrew. He also has Lloyd caddying for his group the entire day to build his self-esteem, and plays with the annoying Jeffrey Tambor who cheats to impress his children.
Vince and Drama are paired up with Mark Wahlberg and Tom Brady, while Sloan tells Eric that mega-manager Murray Berenson requested to pair up with him.
Drama tries to spice up the day and puts a wager of a grand per hole, but ends up being the laughing stock due to his poor golf game and temper.

But not so with Ari, as his wife gets a call from Marlo Klein who’s looking for her husband Andrew. Ari covers it all up temporarily saying he’s probably with a client, but gets to the bottom of things at work, warning Klein that the affair with junior agent Lizzie better be over.
Andrew assures Ari it’s done, however when David Schwimmer shows up for a meeting and begins flirting with Lizzie, Andrew reveals his jealously.
Meanwhile, Vince is trying to figure out what he should do while on hiatus. Disappointed that all his buddies are too busy with their own lives, he decides to occupy himself with a waitress named Nicki for the afternoon…and Facebook too.
Drama, who’s being scripted a love interest for Five Towns, takes part in a model make-out casting session to see if any chemistry sparks- but nothing. He demands that the show get some real talent, but there’s not enough time for another casting session.

After a phone call from his mother who chews him out after looking like an idiot in People’s Magazine- for the sneaker shot at the premiere with Jamie-Lynn -Turtle decides it’s about time that he make something of himself.

At the agency, Ari has his wife get to know Andrew’s wife Mario- as they’re all going to the premiere together -but then finds out that Andrew might be having an affair with the new hot-shot agent Lizzy (The O.C’s Autumn Reeser). Not good news for Gold, who tells Andrew to end the fling right away. Also, Loyd’s struggling with his diet to lose weight during the 100 days of hell.
Meanwhile, E moves into the new apartment and already has new neighbor Ashley (Alexis Dziena) really interested in him.
On the red carpet, Turtle is introduced by Jamie to the press as her boyfriend, everyone congratulates Vince, and E awkwardly runs into Ashley who received an extra ticket from her work.
Mrs. Ari and Mrs. Andrew are becoming rowdy best friends- which causes Ari to remind Andrew to get his shit together and end the affair with Lizzy.
The new promos for this season are actually pretty sweet.
And this one too:
This Week On Entourage:
With last season closing with Vince snagging the lead in Martin Scorsese’s The Great Gatsby, season six begins post production. The Gatsby premiere is a day away, Vince is set to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and is also finally pursuing his driver’s license (for a gig in an Enzo Ferrari film). E who’s been single and getting plenty of action, gets a call from Sloan about a house her friend is subletting, and tries to convince him to take it. Turtle and Drama are both busy, one deep in a relationship with Jamie Lynn Sigler from The Sopranos, and the other occupied by his hit TV show.
Life is all good at the Miller-Gold agency, according to Ari Gold, as personal investment from season five Andrew Klein, is signing top show runners. But Ari is confronted by his assistant Loyd about a promotion that he eventually responds to by proposing a 100-day test, to see if he’s ready.
Vince gets his license after bribing the instructor with tickets to the premiere, which makes a funny story to tell on Leno. But with everyone all occupied with their own shtick, Vince is left to chill in the mansion by himself for the night.
Hook-ups:
E with apparently one of many chicks, Vince and Sloan’s friend Amy in the car
Celeb Cameos:
