Small Amounts of Drugs Found In Scott Ruffalo’s Body

Scott Ruffalo, 39, the younger brother of actor Mark Ruffalo was found dead in his apartment on December 1st in Beverly Hills. Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, turned herself in then was released after her lawyer provided enough evidence showing that Ruffalo allegedly died from playing Russian roulette. L.A. County Coroner spokesman Ed Winter reported to PEOPLE that Ruffalo’s toxicology results showed very slight traces of cocaine, alcohol and morphine in his system at the time of his death; however the morphine could have been used for medicinal purposes. Ruffalo’s death is still assumed to be a homicide due to the very small amount of drugs found. The case is still being investigated.

Scott Ruffalo, Actor Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother has died due to a gun shot to the head according to Beverly Hills Police.

The hairstylist was found in his Beverly Hills home on December 1 with a gunshot wound.

Both a man and a woman who police claimed were “persons of interest” turned themselves in on Monday according to CBC.ca.

Shaha Mishaal Adham was charged with attempted murder and taken into custody. The 26-year-old has been cleared of the charges and released from custody Tuesday Night.

Adham’s Attorney Ronald Richards told E! News, “There will be no criminal filing at this time regarding this matter and Shaha Mishaal Adham will hopefully rebuild her tarnished reputation.”

Brian Scofield was questioned and later released. police have not revealed the connection between Scofield and Ruffalo.

Scott Rufalo died after spending a week at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, in a coma.
