It’s no secret the boys of The Wanted like to party. But things seemed to have gotten a little out of control when they finally arrived in Los Angeles leaving their manager, Scooter Braun, having to reel them in.
“It’s not like we’re going to set fire to a baby,” said Jay McGuiness, and to which Scooter replied, “…What I need you to do is understand that you’re not here to party.”
Considering Scooter also manages the likes of Justin Bieber, Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen, it’s probably words of wisdom The Wanted should heed. Will they adjust accordingly to life in L.A.? We’ll have to find out when The Wanted Life premieres on June 2nd on E!
Even though the last few weeks were kind of rough, things aren’t all that bad for Justin Bieber. His manager Scooter Braun tweeted yesterday:
so @justinbieber wrote a smash for @thewanted . damn. #hitrecord
— Scooter Braun (@scooterbraun) April 2, 2013
Wait, WHAT?! Did anyone just get a little excited?

Well, it’s not like it’s out of the blue. The boys are really good friends considering Scooter Braun manages the both of them, and The Wanted has opened for Justin in the past. (Let’s not forget that apparently Justin hit Siva Kaneswaran where the sun doesn’t shine!) Regardless – if Justin wrote it, and The Wanted’s going to record it – it’s going to make our heart pitter-patter.
We can’t wait to hear it!
Major LOLs during their performance for ANDPOP

One of my favourite things about The Wanted is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. They started off our live-stream with not one, but two acoustic performances— ’I Found You’ and ‘Glad You Came.’ If you didn’t catch what all the laughing was about, they were making sexual noises during GYC. I see what you did there. [skittlesforjay]
Drunk in the studio?

Even though the guys are constantly busy on the road, they’re making time for their new album coming out early next year. Nathan blurt out, “When was the last time you were in the studio Jay?” He didn’t quite remember if it was yesterday… or the day before. Who could blame him, really? [nodoyjay]
Tom Parker 2.0

Jordan wanted to know what it would take to be a member of The Wanted. After him and Tom reversed roles, he showed off his British accent and suggested he could be the rapper in the group. When TW’s manager Scooter Braun called in, he even said he liked the new Tom better. Could it happen? [thewantedsexgods]
Siva knows what’s up

Nathan may be the youngest out of the guys, but don’t question him when it comes down to his vocal cords. That solo in ‘I Found You’ says it all. Wow. [teamjaythan]
Too close for comfort?

During the lyric, “I’m glad you came,” Nathan couldn’t help but give a little grip onto Siva’s leg. He was like — uh no. It’s okay Nathan, I’m single. [nathanns]

One of the most memorable moments from last night’s American Music Awards was a “Gangnam Style” collaboration between Korean pop sensation Psy and MC Hammer at the end of the show.
The guys did Psy’s trademark horse trotting dance while wearing the iconic Harem pants. The performance was a huge surprise — Hammer came on half way through the song — but it makes TOTAL sense. Hammer also experienced rapid fame with his hit “U Can’t Touch This” in the 90s, so he probably understands the overwhelming fandom Psy’s experiencing.
The big winner at last night’s award show was Justin Bieber, who took home three awards, including artist of the year. He accepted the award on stage with his mom. ”I wanted to thank you for always believing in me,” Bieber said.

Now, she is performing sold out shows and working with Scooter Braun, the man responsible for Justin Bieber’s pop stardom.

I was pretty certain if you put Justin Bieber and Oprah in the same room, it wouldn’t be able to contain their awesomeness and would inevitably self detonate. The theory was first tested back in 2010 when Justin Bieber went on the Oprah show, but so much time has passed and more awesomeness has been achieved. I wasn’t sure what would happen, but luckily I was wrong.
Bieber tweeted this photo of himself and the talk show host today with the caption: “Me and @Oprah just swaggin it out.”
The two have been “swaggin it out” over the past couple days, as OWN is airing a special backstage look at his Believe tour on Nov. 25. The episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter will also include an in-depth interview.
Yesterday, Oprah went to Justin’s Chicago concert where she revelled at the crying fans and took a backstage tour:
Oprah tweeted after the show: “BELIEVE concert so impressive. Thanks for a SUPER FUN nite Can’t wait to talk to you tomorrow!”
Another friendly face got in on the action and called Oprah his boo. Scooter Braun shared this photo and later tweeted: “sitting here thinking how proud i am of @justinbieber and how he carried himself in that interview with @oprah - cant wait for u all to see.”

After months of rehearsals and rumors about what to expect from Justin Bieber’s highly anticipated Believe tour, it finally kicked off on Saturday in Glendale, AZ. Even if you weren’t physically at the concert, Beliebers everywhere were glued to their Twitter accounts, tracking down every move that was going on. If you don’t have your hands on tickets yet, you might wanna get on that cause this looks like a show that’s going down in history!
Taking selfies in the middle of the show

If you didn’t already know, Justin is back on Instagram and I can’t get enough of his selfies. Oh and you can’t forget about the shirtless ones either. Okay back on track now… he grabbed a fan’s phone from the audience and took a picture of himself! What a lucky girl, I wonder if she’s gunna keep that for herself or share it with the world. *Wishful thinking* [ownmynight]
On point choreography

Justin is a triple threat. He can sing, he can act, and he can DANCE! Michael Jackson has been a major influence and it shows during his routines. They don’t call JB the Prince of Pop for nothing. [bieber-graphics]
The pelvic thrust

You better be paying 110% attention to every second of the show. No tweeting things like, “dsjfndjsgndfjskie” because chances are, you’re probably going to miss Justin’s epic hip thrust and you don’t want that to happen. [supportdrew]

Last night, Cody Simpson and his manager Scooter Braun shared a link with the world they knew would BLOW our minds. Cody Simpson. Victoria Duffield. Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”
That’s all you really need to know — so run along my friends, watch the video and start dancing with the whole crew. The duo dance in front of lawn chairs and ride imaginary horses in elevators before finally making their way into the parking garage with a huge entourage, including Cody’s sister Alli Simpson.
This cover is huge for him but also for Psy who re-tweeted the link. It’s pretty nice Scooter’s talented group all support each other — remember when Justin Bieber covered Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” way back?
Overall, it’s been a big week for Cody considering he just released his interactive movie Finding Cody on Sept. 18. We can’t wait to see what’s next for him and Victoria!

It was only a matter of time before Psy brought his viral hit “Gangnam Style” to Rockefeller Plaza. The Korean pop star performed his iconic horse-riding dance with a slew of backup dancers dressed in all-white. Psy himself was dressed in a daring frog-green tuxedo.
His new manager Scooter Braun tweeted how proud he was: “As an immigrant’s kid I’m taking a lot of pride in what is happening on the @todayshow right now,” Scooter tweeted. “Thousand r here for #GangnamStyle. Watch!”
When most people go to a barbecue the host is all “oh, remember to bring a couple bags of chips — Dill Pickle please!” But when Scooter Braun goes everyone must be like “oh BTW, do you think you can bring that Psy fellow? You know the one with the song that’s ALWAYS IN MY HEAD?”
Braun tweeted a YouTube link today with a video of Psy dancing at a barbecue with synchronized swimmers. Meanwhile, Braun’s friends, including Ashley Benson’s boyfriend Ryan Good and choreographer Nick Demoura joined the party.
Braun signed the K-Pop star, whose hit “Gangnam Style,” is garnering pretty much a thousand covers day (but we’re probably lowballing it). We’re expecting this cover to go viral stat.

You sure get a lot of advantages if you work with Scooter Braun. Since Braun represents so many amazing talents, I imagine their company Christmas party to be all like: “You’re soo amazing Justin Bieber,” “No, you’re so so amazing The Wanted!!”
As we all know, Korean popstar Psy signed a record deal with Braun and he’s already getting to perform with Scooter’s other clients. At a recent concert at Los Angeles’ Avalon, Psy joined The Wanted on stage and performed his viral hit “Gangnam Style.” The result, was pure magic.
When will he perform with Justin Bieber?
Watch it here:
Justin Bieber made an appearance on Bethenny today to talk about everything from his tattoos, baby-daddy allegations, his new Girlfriend fragrance and most importantly his fourth album to hit a #1 on Billboard, Believe.
Backstage, Bethenny’s adorable daughter Bryn seemed to be the luckiest girl out of the whole studio audience because she got her own jam sesh with JB. He serenaded her while singing “Baby,” but she seemed to be a little shocked, I don’t blame her! Finally, she let out “Biebs,” after Justin playfully tickled her saying, “Where’s the smiles?” which made the whole thing a million times cuter! Bethenny later tweeted out to Justin, “That was amazing. You were so great with Bryn. You’re gonna make a great dad one day.”
Justin is not only a charmer and the envy of teenage boys (and men) everywhere, but he’s amazing with young kids. He always seems to make time for family, with his two younger siblings Jazzy and Jaxon, as well as Avalanna aka Ms. Bieber whom has a special place in his heart.

Justin spontaneously performs hit single for his beliebers

Justin Bieber surprised all his fans (though I think JB was equally surprised) when he released the third single from his album Believe today. He promised his fans that if “Die In Your Arms” shot to number one on iTunes (which it did) then he’d release “All Around the World.”
That song was supposed to come out at midnight tonight, but JB seemed a little shocked when it came out earlier today. He tweeted Scooter Braun: “WHAT!?!?! It’s out!?!?!” Don’t worry JB, we don’t mind. Really.
The song features Ludacris. The last time they worked together their brainchild was “Baby.” So you know this track’s gonna be INSANE.
If “All Around the World” shoots to number one on iTunes then JB has promised to release his next single “As Long As You Love Me” next Tuesday. So go buy it already so we can get the next single!
In the meantime, JB is in Madrid, continuing his promo tour for the album.

Usually when you think of spotting your favourite celebrity, it’s most likely outside a venue or their hotel (at the max). That wasn’t the case last night in Olso, Norway when Justin Bieber wrapped up his not so “surprise” concert on a floating stage outside the Olso Opera House. The stage itself brought tons of speculation before it was even announced on Twitter. Did we mention the admission was free?! Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun called TMZ to share his take on yesterday’s madness: “You think you’re a grown man who’s pretty tough, I’ll put 30 teenage girls in front of you and you will loose.” Justin later posted a video on the app Viddy of the screaming girls chasing him…by boat! He was forced to make his way back to land on a fire rescue boat, but he sure does love his Beliebers. Justin is now in Paris continuing his promotional tour for his upcoming album, Believe. He tweeted, “now off to another #secretshow but this time a little more intimate and romantic. #cityoflove” Ahhh! How romantic!
Justin Bieber might be in the middle of a media circus, considering his recent spat with a money-hungry paparazzo, but let’s forget about that for two seconds (preferably forever) and move on to the music because that’s what’s really important.
JB released “Die In Your Arms” and it’s COMPLETELY different than I imagined, but in a good way. A really good way. I imagined a gloomy 90s-esque ballad but this tune has a Jackson 5 soulfulness that I didn’t expect, even though Scooter Braun already made the comparison on Twitter. The track has a catchy opening and rhythmic finger snaps, while Bieber croons: “Ooh baby, I know loving you ain’t easy, sure is worth a try.”
His whole album is gearing up to be an essay about why the Biebs is the archetypal boyfriend, leading me to believe the album should be called Etiquette for Gentleman rather than Believe. Of course, this is the second single released from his upcoming LP Believe, out June 19. How does it compare to “Boyfriend?”
Listen to it here:

I’m sincerely concerned for the vocal chords of the fan who screams after seeing Justin Bieber at around 16 seconds. Bieber posed and kissed college girls at the Tribeca Film Festival, inspiring fans to avoid washing their cheeks for the rest of their lives.
The Biebs and his manager Scooter Braun were accepting the Disruptive Innovation Award at NYU, on Friday, for breaking the music industry mold.
got the DISRUPT award at the tribeca film festival with @scooterbraun. in school i got in trouble for being disruptive. LOOK AT ME NOW. lol

The mayhem he caused only proved he could never pull a James Franco and enroll in university. Also, how many girls will be photoshopping themselves in to the photo above?
We absolutely love these guys. The Wanted are some of the most down to earth, hilarious pop-superstars we’ve ever interviewed. They owe a lot of their success to one man in particular, Scooter Braun. Ever since they signed with Scooter the guys have hit some major milestones, including being #1 with their new EP here in Canada. In this interview @jordans_life talks to The Wanted about being under Scooter’s wing and taking Justin Bieber out for drinks (when he’s legal).

June is going to be an epic month. Not only because it’s my birthday (because who cares about that anyway?) but also because it’s the month Cody Simpson will be dropping his new LP and the month Justin Bieber is hinting at releasing his new album. I guess their manager Scooter Braun figured why make it drizzle when you can make it pour sheets of rain… and cause lightening.
Simpson’s debut LP ”Paradise” will be released on June 5. In the meantime he’s been pretty busy filming the video for his song “So Listen” and causing girls around the world to cry… but in a good way I think.

Justin Bieber has answered the redundant question of another Juno-nominated Canadian singer-songwriter’s hit single – Carly Rae Jespen, by calling her and signing her to the School Boy label.
It’s a label founded by Scooter Braun who said that last time he worked with a Canadian it worked out really, really well. Both Braun and the Biebs have gushed about the former Canadian Idol’s hit single “Call Me Maybe,” thinking it’s bullshit that it is only #1 in Canada.
The 26-year-old singer was on Much Music’s New Music Live yesterday when Bieber sent the video describing the first time he heard Jespen and immediately falling “in love” with her sound.
“I just wanted to tell everybody that we signed her,” he continued, “so everyone go check her out, a song called ‘Call Me Maybe,’ and she’s going to blow up.”
Now the B-Squad (it’ll catch on) are bringing Jepsen out to Los Angeles to work on an album – and maybe even a collaboration with Bieber himself.
Although Justin Bieber’s holiday album release is right around the corner, JB is already hard at work on the next release. And he has revealed some secret info about the project, including whose going to be featured.
He told Capital FM some high profile buddies are on the album. “Very soon [it'll be released], after my Christmas album,” JB revealed. “It’s going to be coming out. It is called Believe. I’m working with a lot of cool people. I’m working with Kanye [West]. Drake is going to work on the album with me.”
Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun also spoke with Billboard about the next album, where he explained Justin was focused on writing his own songs.
“He’s pretty adamant about writing a lot of [the album],” Braun said. “And he played me some stuff that he’s been doing on his own. He wrote this amazing song that sounds like a Jodeci record. I’m really excited for him. This kid can sing his ass off. He’s coming into his own.”
Are you excited for Justin’s next album. Can he top his already amazing success?
