In Scissor Sisters new video for “Only the Horses,” each member of the band is covered in colourful paint, which is pulled off them by ropes pulled by four white horses.
The video was filmed in Lake Los Angeles and directed by Lorenzo Fonda. Apparently the band worked overtime to put the video together after the machine they used to distribute the paint malfunctioned.
The music video has a conceptual edge and you can really see the beauty of the paint peeling off in reverse, as it’s in slow motion.

British group “Scissor Sisters” are finally releasing their new album after the success of their first self titled album. It is highly anticipated throughout the UK, reported Monsters and Critics.
The sophomore album, dubbed “Ta-Dah” was definitely a labour of love for the pair. So much so that frontman Jake Shears compared it to child birth. Shears said he was thrilled with the finished product and is as happy as a new dad.
“I feel like I’ve birthed a baby,” he said. “It was very weird and painful but I think my baby is really cute!”
He also added that it is true; a second album is harder than getting the first one done, but it glad the group took their time getting it done. He believes when a record comes out people remember it if it’s good, “they don’t necessarily remember that it came out four months after it should have.”
The new album features a collaboration with Elton John, which may seem surprising given his recent temper tantrums about everyone in the world around him. But he apparently likes the “Scissor Sisters.”
“Ta-Dah” will be released in the United States September 26th. Their debut album sold 278,000 copies in the US.
