You know those unfairly cute couples that make you believe you’ll be alone forever? We stopped resenting long enough to decide on the top five cutest couples in Young Hollywood that make us go “awww.” Now excuse us while we go realize our future life with 50 cats.
Cory Monteith and Lea Michele
The one thing better than Finchel might be Monchele. Although the two lovebirds are unfortunately seperated on Glee (not for long hopefully), Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are still very much together, and very happy according to recent pictures of the two enjoying a relaxing trip in Hawaii. Michele and Monteith both came back sporting tans and bragging that they had a very relaxing and eventful trip. After months of keeping their relationship on the down low, the two finally have come out with their relationship and how happy they are. Leave some cute for the rest of us please guys.
Ian Somelhalder and Nina Dobrev
The one thing I’m more upset about than the fall of Finchel, is the craziness of Delena. Is Damon leaving the show? Thankfully we still have “Nian.” They might be the best looking young couple of Hollywood. The two manage to be respectfully private, but also modestly adorable in public. Proof? They looked ridiculously cute searching for a Christmas tree in Decemeber. Like Monchele, the two also spent a fun-filled holiday break together IN SHANGHAI! Let’s forget how over the course of this trip she tricked us into thinking the two were going to elope via twitter. That still burns.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus

The fact that these two are getting hitched has been in the news everywhere. People are complaining the two are too young to get married and that they’re having more than one wedding. However, these rumours have been put to rest. Cyrus’ interview with Ellen confirmed she is having one wedding, and that she’s very much in love with Hemsworth and ready to spend the rest of her life with him. Hannah Montana no more, Miley Cyrus is a grown up now. With new hair, and a new hubby, I think Cyrus will surprise us this new year.
Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards
Hollywood’s leading ladies and up-and coming starlets descended upon Elle’s Women in Hollywood celebration to celebrate females in the industry. The event even brought out Robert Pattinson (who was there to support his Bel Ami costar Uma Thurman, but he didn’t walk the ‘white’ carpet since this event was all about the ladies.
Anna Kendrick
What she’s wearing: The Pitch Perfect star wore a black with golden embroidery Badgley Mischka Resort 2013 dress to Elle’s Women in Hollwood event.
Why we love it: For a black pencil cocktail dress this look has a lot going for it. The dress is working three trends: 1) geometric cut out bustier tops 2) brocade embroidery and 3) shear details (in this dress the sheer fabric is in the midriff which provides a cool belt effect). However the trends don’t overpower one another and work perfectly together because they are quite subtle.
Takeaway: Too many trends on one dress or outfit might seem like a good idea but you’ll regret it instantly in a couple of years because being too on-trend dates your photos really fast. So instead of potential embarrassing Facebook photos in a couple years time, try incorporating multiple trends in a single look by doing so in very small amounts.
Emma Stone
What she’s wearing: Stone chose a bubblegum pink Valentino Resort 2013 dress for the Elle’s Women in Hollywood event.
Why we love it: For a pretty modest number (I guess modest by today’s standards anyways) you can’t help but smile at this dress and take notice of Stone. The bright pink number takes this simple look and turns it into quite a head turner as it pops out on the white carpet. Also the sheer sleeves adds some much needed skin and makes the dress more youthful, while the white statement collar and cuffs adds some much needed contrast to the overwhelming pink. She also balances the pink out with a black clutch and a pop of print in those houndstooth pumps.
Takeaway: Bright and bold colours are a great way to put a spin on conservative and traditional clothing. If this look was in black or a more sombre colour, all the fun would be taken out of it and Stone might end up looking like Wednesday Addams. (Sidenote: I love Wednesday Addams, specifically Christina Ricci’s portrayal, but best save the Addams Family look for Halloween and off the red carpet.)
Cate Blanchett
What she’s wearing: The Australian actress stepped out in a studded print photo Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2013 dress at the Elle’s Women in Hollywood event.
Why we love it: If you haven’t discovered the amazing-ness of Cate Blanchett and her A+ red carpet track record, then I hope you do some research on some of the looks she wears since she is one of the gold standards for Hollywood high fashion. If you never considered fashion to be art before then hopefully this dress changes your mind since it actually has art printed on the dress. Photo prints on clothing is an upcoming trend and this dress takes it to the next level by abstracting the print with blue colour studs and grommet detailing (it’s a cool take on neo-impressionist art).
Takeaway: Photo printed clothing can be a fun way to personalize your wardrobe since it’s totally possible to create your own clothes with the number of custom silkscreen businesses online (and perhaps your hometown) that you can use. A cool way to get into photography and fashion design. The more abstract a photo the more fashionable it is since you’d probably want to stay away from producing anything like this (save that for Mother’s and Father’s Day).
The Jonas Brothers
Sarah Hyland
What she’s wearing: The Modern Family actress showed up to the 6th Annual Power of Youth Event in Los Angeles, California in a floral Zimmermann dress.
Why we love it: The draping on the bottom half takes this floral dress to the next level since it adds a contrasting texture to the look. The draping technique continues to the back of the dress making for a pleasant surprise when Hyland turns around — it goes from sweet floral dress to a total knockout stunner! She paired it with Brian Atwood shoes in a cobalt colour and a matching Kotur clutch that both bring out the blues in the dress.
Takeaway: Pick a floral dress with interesting design elements instead of just basing your choice on the print itself. If you took away the print from this dress and remade it into a solid fabric, the dress would still be hot.
Kate Middleton
What she’s wearing: The Duchess of Cambridge arrived in the Solomon Islands in a bright geometric Jonathan Saunders dress during her royal tour of Southeast Asia.
Why we love it: If only everybody looked like this while getting off a plane! Then again, there’s usually not a red carpet waiting for you on the tarmac when you get off. We’re suckers for bold geometric prints and this dress has that in spades! Plus it’s in a unique colour combination of aqua, forest-green, and white, which makes it stand out and makes it fun. She accents the look with cream accessories: the heels, the clutch and hat (the Brits sure do love a good hat!).
Takeaway: When wearing bold prints, accessorize with neutral items to minimize the in-your-face quality of the bold print. The neutral accessories will really let the print stand out.

Justin Bieber
We’re happy because Justin Bieber is happy. And he’s happy because he’s performing for 500 lucky winners. And they’re probably beaming. So everyone is happy, all because of Justin Bieber…
Rihanna and Piers Morgan
You’d think Rihanna would take Piers Morgan’s burn about her new short haircut personally, but apparently making debatably offensive comments is the way to score an interview with her. Duly noted.
Sarah Hyland Read more…
Image seems to be everything in Hollywood (unfortunately) but once in a while two celebrities emerge that seem like the EXACT SAME PERSON. Of course, they’re not really — they both have unique careers and personalities but they share a similar look (see Rihanna and Rita Ora above). Then you end up googling whether or not they’re related (half siblings, third cousins, blood sisters) and realize you were wrong all along.
Which celebs do you think have an uncanny resemblance to eachother?
Nina Dobrev and Victoria Justice
Sarah Hyland and Mila Kunis

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Sarah Hyland gets personal in the latest Seventeen magazine and Lady Gaga wears another meat dress.
HIT: Sara Hyland talks kidney transplant with Seventeen Magazine

Sarah Hyland, a.k.a. Mila Kunis Jr., plays Modern Family’s Haley Dunphy so well, you’d think they’re the same person — you’d never guess she suffers from kidney dysplasia. The young starlet has been suffering from the disease since she was nine-years old, and recently received a kidney from her own father. Hyland is the kind of person young girls should look up to because of her strong work ethic and sense of self.
MISS: Justin Bieber apparently had a thing for Vanessa Hudgens, says an unreliable source

According to the National Inquirer, the two met on the set of Spring Breakers when the Biebs was visiting current fling Selena Gomez, and then yadda yadda yadda. Let’s be honest here: trusting the National Inquirer as a reputable source of “news” is like trusting Bristol Palin to be the voice of reason when it comes to the sanctity of marriage. You’ve got to be certifiable crazy to be do either.
HIT: Someone FINALLY writes an accurate bio for Kim Kardashian’s IMDb page

Kimmy K.’s cultural relevance boils down to her ass, a sex tape, and now Kanye West. So, it warms my black heart to see IMDb writer Jon C. Hopwood’s brutally honest profile — or roast if you will — of the reality star. Here’s a sample: “… Kardashian is possessed of [sic] photogenic good looks but is short of any other discernible talents outside of the bedroom.” IMDb has taken it down since, but you can still read it in full here.

We saw a lot of white at the Oscars tonight, but the shade wasn’t my favourite. It looked a little too bridal and boring to me. It also washed out some ladies on camera, like Rooney Mara. Long sleeves were another big look, which I personally loved. Some critics deemed it too “mature” but who cares about those rules anyway?
Ladies in colour, Michelle Williams and Emma Stone
My absolute favourite look of the night goes to Michelle Williams who wore a coral Louis Vuitton gown. It looked like a vibrant red on camera but this photo really brings out the coral. She paired it with a simple necklace and brooch. She can do no wrong!
Emma Stone wore a beautiful red haute couture dress by Giambattista Valli. I know there will be a bit of disagreement about the bow but I like that she’s fearless. There was some chatter that her dress was too similar to one of Nicole Kidman’s past dresses, but that doesn’t make it any less beautiful. Especially considering how many similar little black dresses we see on the carpet each year.
Young starlets, Sarah Hyland and Shailene Woodley and Rooney Mara
Sarah Hyland’s lilac dress was a little too prom for me. I like the cap sleeve on her right shoulder but found the cut to be a little plain. I originally liked Shailene Woodley’s Valentino dress when I first saw it, but it didn’t photograph as well as it looked on camera. Although some critics thought it wasn’t “age appropriate,” I like the fact that she has a very unique style for being so young. Instead of bare arms and a low cut she went for a dress that’s comparatively conservative. In comparison, Rooney Mara’s Givenchy white dress washed her out and was ill-fitting. She said she picked it out that morning and it showed!
Screen Gold, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman
No joke, I’ve always had a weird affinity for capes. They rock. And Gwyneth Paltrow, who wore Tom Ford, rocks for wearing one. Natalie Portman’s dress was a little too 50s sweetheart to me. We see her in the “cute” dress a lot and I wish she’d mix it up for a change. But still, the style makes her comfortable so I can’t blame her for going that route. My second best of the night goes to Angelina Jolie. She looked HOT with that slit in the leg and she actually cracked a smile.
Funny ladies, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy
My favourite of these ladies was Rose Byrne. Her haircut is the type of style that makes me chop off my hair and then immediately regret it. But it looks chic on her. Maya Rudolph looked great in a simple purple. In comparison, her SNL buddy Kristen Wiig was a little too beachy and casual for the night. If she pulled up her hair it would have made a huge difference. I heard some different points of view about Melissa McCarthy’s dress but I don’t think it’s structured enough and I’m not huge on the colour.
Best of the night? Sacha Baron Cohen
