As we’ve mentioned before, Russian dashcam videos don’t only capture meteors falling from the skies or people attacking other cars. They also catch nice moments that make you want to hold onto a small silver of hope for society.
This particular dash cam video is more of the latter variety but is also a little bit of the surprising former as you’ll see later on. In it, one father takes it upon himself to educate his young daughter on what to do in a car crash as they speed along on the highway. He doesn’t sugar coat the situation and gives her some important piece of advice. Just make sure to watch until the very end to understand just how important his own advice is.
When Russian dashboard cams aren’t filming meteors falling from the skies or people attacking cars, they also catching people doing some really nice things. This super compilation of good samaritans could make the coldest of hearts melt. There are people who pull over to help little old ladies cross the street, wait for tiny animals to make their own way across, and drivers who jump out of their cars to help complete strangers out of snow banks. It’s a video that should help you have a little bit more faith in humanity.
Hours after a meteor struck Russia, Redditors and Tumblr users have already started making the obligatory Russian Meteor memes. The meteor shattered about 30-50 kilometers above the ground and injured more than 1100 people.
Do you think the memes are too soon? Here are some of the ones trending online right now. [Daily Dot]

Contender one: Crank up the stereo
This is what the Russian military has been up to these days.
Contender two: Jumping into a cold pool, what could go wrong?
Meanwhile, probably somewhere in Germany (though we’re not sure), this dude attempts to jump into an ice cold pool to wake himself up in the morning and giving him the burst of energy he needs to get through the entire day. It’ll also make his friends think he’s pretty badass.
Unfortunately things don’t go as planned. Note: You should always consider the consistency of a pool before doing a cannonball in it.
Meanwhile in Russia, a schoolgirl teaches the Internet why you shouldn’t mess with innocent looking kids with pigtails. While we don’t think every student should kick their teacher’s in the balls, this guy was being a little too abrasive.
It’s not everyday that you see someone floating over an large amount of water with boats and sea-doo’s driving by. Now, I don’t know if this guy is just having fun or putting on a show for bystands watching over the bridge, but he definitely has a costume on and may think of himself as the real life Aquaman. I’d fall for it.
Sometimes the online pranks you pull on your older brother or sister can inspire a long chain of sibling rivalry. This young guy drastically changed his older brother’s Facebook profile, but instead of starting an online war his older bro sought revenge offline. With the help of his friends, he re-decorated his brother’s semi-plain room to look like a little girl’s room (yes, that means there were Justin Bieber-esque posters involved). His reaction is priceless.

There are fail compilations and then there are Russian fail compilations. This one is the latter.
Considering cats spend about 13 to 16 hours a day napping, it’s not surprising Mr. Grump-tart here doesn’t want to see or hear this little girl perform a prized traditional folk dance. He tries to bear it at first, circling the room to blow of steam, but after a while he takes things into his own hands. Note: Watch the video to the end.
I’m not entirely sure what started this, but onlookers on the street most likely got a kick out of this! In this video, a horse and a dog are filmed running down Nevsky Avenue in St. Petersburg, Russia in the middle of the night. How confusing it have been to witness this!
