Rush Limbaugh held a press conference Friday afternoon to tell the world he is A-OK. The opinionated radio host experienced chest pains earlier this week in Hawaii and was immediately hospitalized. Rush has now returned back to his Hawaii hotel.
Although Limbaugh says he’s OK, TMZ is reporting that there still remains security situated outside his room just in case. Additionally Rush praised the hotel staff for their assistance when he first experienced discomfort.
Conservative Rush Limbaugh will not be charged after airport officials found a stash of Viagra prescribed to someone else in his bags last week, E! Online reports.
Limbaugh was detained for nearly three hours after flying into Florida International Airport on June 26 when officials found the drugs.
They confiscated them, but there was a possibility Limbaugh would still face charges from the state attorney due to his probation stemming from charges of prescription fraud.
Officials talked to Limbaugh’s psychiatrist who collaborated Limbaugh’s story that the pills were for him, but were in the name of the psychiatrist to protect Limbaugh’s privacy.
Rush Limbaugh was detained yesterday at Florida International Airport when it was discovered he was carrying some Viagra ? with someone else’s name on the prescription label, E! Online reports.
Limbaugh, who is currently serving an 18 month court supervision due to a case of prescription fraud, was held for three hours by officials after landing at the airport returning home from a vacation in the Dominican.
According to his attorney, the pills were Limbaugh’s but the prescription was in the name of his physician to protect Limbaugh’s privacy.
Despite this claim, officials took the pills away from Limbaugh before releasing him without charges. However, a Palm Beach County Sheriff officer told the web site Limbaugh could still face second degree misdemeanor charges for the incident.
