Former Baywatchstar Pamela Anderson is denying reports that she has gone bankrupt, reports TMZ. An article, which Anderson claims is false, says she is allegedly in debt to the tune of some $1.2 million.
“It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home,” she said. ”This is because after paying millions of dollars to build the house, I continue to get bills from the contractors. My lawyers are reviewing the work done to see if the bills are fair. If they are, they’ll be paid. If they aren’t, they won’t be. Mistakes have been made in calculating taxes owed and we are now in the process of ensuring that any taxes owed are paid.”
Us Magazine claims that pop stars Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will be marrying this Saturday.
The couple only recently announced their engagement in April, and have been battling baby rumours.
According to the mag’s source, “all guests will be transported in shuttles to the wedding location,” which currently remains a secret.
Simpson and Wentz are determined to keep their wedding a private affair. They only have their guests save the date cards, instead of official invitations.
The source also said that the rehearsal dinner, to take place on Friday, will include only family and close friends.
Some “Sex and the City” fans may be burying their heads in shoe boxes to avoid any spoilers about the upcoming movie, but it may not be necessary.
Director-producer Michael Patrick King has killed the rumour about the death of an unnamed character.
“It’s a summer movie,” he told Yahoo! News. “Why would I want to kill anyone?”
King did say that killing Mr. Big – heroine Carrie’s long-time love – was considered, but he didn’t think it would go over well with the audience.
“I did want an emotional roller-coaster, but my ultimate target was to make our ‘girlfriends’ — in other words, our audience — happy. And I don’t think Mr. Big dying would make them happy.
“I would have been chased around the planet by women with torches.”
