Nicki Minaj’s new music video for “I Am Your Leader” is standard fare for Barbz. There are less hair colours than we’re used to seeing (only her natural hue and a bright green wig) but the colourful set makes up for any tress shortcomings. Minaj professes she’s our leader and if we’re not into it we can “suck a big d*ck.
Rick Ross and Cam’Ron make an appearance in the video, rapping in a trippy candy pink room. Later Minaj suds it up in a bubble bath wearing glittery sky high boots. The track is from her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Nicki Minaj is a red party bird in her new video for “Pound the Alarm,” which is totally getting us stoked for Toronto’s Caribbean Carnival this weekend. Filmed in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, the video opens during the daytime with some steel drums. By nighttime, the fireworks are going off.
The Benny Boom-directed video is like a colourful mashup of feathers and fire breathers with beautiful views of the coastline.
The track is from Minaj’s second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Right now, “Pound the Alarm” is at Number 39 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart.

Who isn’t Nicki Minaj working with these days? The singer’s new track “Champion” leaked online and it features a star-studded cast, including Drake, Young Jeezy and Nas. We also recently heard the singer with Chris Brown and DJ Khaled.
The song was produced by Da Internz and is part of her forthcoming album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. In the song, Minaj and her crew reflects on their rise to the top and their goal to stay there. Minaj proves she can hold her own with hip hop’s elite.
Nicki Minaj dropped two very different tracks this week, both from her forthcoming album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.”
“Beez in the Trap” is comparatively more simple than Starships, with minimal and raw production. Although the beat is simple, she raps with that pop she’s known for with Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz.
Minaj posted the dirty version of the song herself on Twitter along with some of the dirty lyrics of the song: ”B***hes aint sh*t & they aint sayin nuffin! A hunnit muthaf***as can’t tell me nuffin! I beez in the trap! B beez in the trap!!!!”
Minaj’s track with Chris Brown “Right By My Side” also found its way online and it’s a bit more PG, featuring her softer singing voice.
The album drops on April 3 and if these tracks are any indication of the rest of the album, we are excited!

Nicki Minaj’s new song “Roman Reloaded” starts appropriately enough with a gun being loaded. The song is the title track from her upcoming album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and features Lil’ Wayne.
The track is heavier on rap than her last song Starships but I don’t find it as catchy. It’s a return to the spitfire verses she started with and really showcases how fast she can spew out her rhymes.
I’m doubly impressed that the song seems to be pretty timely. It even mentions her recent Grammy performance in which she was the star of an exorcism.
Would you rather here more songs like Roman Reloaded or Starships on her new album?
