Long, flowing scarves. Tight rocker pants. Feathers in his hair. Steven Tyler has always been a man of style.
But who knew the ‘American Idol’ judge and Aerosmith frontman stole clothes from his daughter, Liz Tyler.
“His blouses! My dad wears girls’ clothes — it’s so funny. Sometimes I see him and I’m like, ‘Nice shirt!’, because it’s from my closet,” said Liz to New York Magazine.
As for what she thinks of her dad’s new sex appeal, she says “I think he’s really handsome. I feel really proud of him. I think he’s a really amazing, magical man and all those funny things that he says that people find so strange, my whole life I’ve been hearing them and they make me laugh. And I speak his language; I understand what he’s talking about.”
I secretly envy Steven Tyler – he’s my style icon. I mean, only he could get away with wearing things he does and make it look completely cool. If I attempted to wear his getups, I’d probably be ridiculed until the end of my life. So props to him for having his own style and not caring what other people think.
You might want to keep a lock on your closet, though, Liz.
Rocker, photographer, and co-founder of his own foundation, Bryan Adams can now add new papa to his list of jobs.
According to a rep who confirmed with PEOPLE, Adams welcomed a daughter last month with Alicia Grimaldi, co-founder of his foundation The Bryan Adams Foundation.
“I’m really proud to announce on 22 April, Mirabella Bunny was born,” said Adams, 51.
“She arrived like all good Easter bunnies on Easter Friday,” Adams added. “Mother and baby are both well and happy. Thanks in advance for your kind thoughts and wishes.”
It was first revealed by the rocker in March that he was to be a first-time father, explaining that Grimaldi “helped me start my foundation years ago and it looks like she’ll be running the family now!”
Adams will be resuming his world tour in June.
Congrats Bryan and may you and your family live a long and happy life!!
(However, I hope his daughter’s name really isn’t Mirabella Bunny…)
’30 Seconds to Mars’ frontman Jared Leto has been announced as the new face of Hugo Boss’s cologne, reports The Independent.
The german brand released the announcement via Facebook on April 26. Leto also released a statement, saying “HUGO inspires men to succeed through creativity, which is something I’ve aimed for my entire career.”
The men’s scent is expected to be released in July.
I don’t know about this selection – Hugo Boss is a brand focused on timeless and classic ideals, and Leto is none of those things. He’s a grungy rocker, not a clean-cut businessman. Leto did start out as a model though, so I’m sure he can carry his own in these ads. I’ve never been a fan of celebrity-endorsed fashion lines, so obviously I’m not super ecstatic over this, but Leto isn’t hideous so I’m sure they will turn out great.
