Rihanna’s definitely on the fast-track to world domination but her exhaustion is slowly getting the best of her.
We reported a few days ago that she canceled a show in Malmo, Sweden due to the flu. Now, MTV says she had to cancel last night’s show in Stockholm an hour before she was scheduled to go on stage. Rihanna’s doctor said she was too sick to perform.
Rihanna’s been all over the world this year. She’s made what seems like 100 music videos, appearances in probably every continent and launched perfumes and other products. She’s definitely busy and pulled in 5 different directions all the time and it looks like she really needs to get some sleep.
Other celebrities have been once rushed to hospital for exhaustion, like Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan (back hen she actually had a job). Rihanna’s so young and has her whole life to be number one at everything. I suggest her New Year’s resolution would be to nap more. And to drink plenty of fluids.

Although it kind of sounds like a some sort of strange porn, it’s actually a new container for Nivea face cream. It’s kind of complicated but here’s what we can decipher from their website.
The inside layer of each lid corresponds with a new app that uses augmented reality to display a graphic picture when held up to your computer’s webcam. Nivea’s compelling singer/spokeswoman Rihanna appears with milky smooth skin (as always) while singing ‘California King Bed’. The song is a perfect fit for both a hit song and a skin product ad – coincidence? Who knows!

Rihanna tells British Vogue that she isn’t a role model. She insists her act is just entertainment for her fans.

She also believes the struggles of her youth made her a stronger person today.

In July producer Verse Simmonds spoke to MTV News about the progress of the album.
“From what I understand, she’s closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved, and I’m really excited about them as well,” Simmonds said. “They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts.”

Rihanna bought a Beverly Hills mansion in 2009 for a cool $6.9 Million. However Rihanna is claiming she got screwed, and the seller hid a bunch of problems regarding the house.
In January 2010 the house was a hit my a rainstorm, which caused the house to leak and reveal a bunch of problems. Rihanna believes the seller knew about the problems, but hid them, reports TMZ.
Now Rihanna is suing the seller, the home inspector, the real estate agents, and the engineers who worked on the house. Her lawsuit claims, “the actual value of the property at the time of purchase, taking into consideration the extensive construction defects … was millions of dollars less” than the price she paid for it.

Hustler is claiming they have obtained a video with the two hitmakers.
A representative for Hustler told E! News, “We have not made any decisions about what we are going to do with it yet.”
Rihanna tweeted, ”We don’t believe U, U need more people… And of course an actual sex tape! Slownewsday.”
MediaTakeOut is reporting they have been offered a sex tape between Rihanna and rapper J Cole.
The website reports they were sent screenshots of the tape, which showed a woman similar to Rihanna “involved” with a man resembling J Cole.

Eminem performed two shows at a U.K. festival this past weekend and took home $3.3 Million.
TMZ helpfully points out he made $50,000 per song performed, having rapped roughly 50 songs throughout the two days. Slim Shady was playing at the V Festival in England.
He was also joined by Rihanna, who reportedly got $825,000 per night to perform.

If 50 Cent is going to expand into movies, why can’t Rihanna? Rihanna has been cast in her first feature film role.
Rihanna will be appearing in Battleship, a film adaptation of the popular board game. She plays a tough Navy sailor who helps protect the world from invading aliens.
“We worked with real military people, you know, people in the Navy, people who have fought in Iraq before,” she told UGO.com in a long interview about the film. “They pretty much came and drilled me. This one man, Donald, he pretty much drilled me, yelled at me, cursed me, ‘Ow!’ Made me do pushups.”
However, Rihanna stayed with the training.

On Sunday, Rihanna tweeted the one and only celeb-blogger Perez Hilton and announced that her next single happens to be the site’s favourite off of her latest album, Loud.
“@PerezHilton hey boo, ur fav song is the brand new #LOUD single “CHEERS” to u being an A&R #RihannaNavy,” the singer tweeted.
Perez wasted no time answering this message, posting on his site, “Our girl Rihanna tweeted us some really exciting news! You might not know this, but we’re OBSESSED with her album Loud, in particular her track Cheers. If you haven’t heard it yet, you should be ashamed … but chin up, you’ll be in the know soon enough since RiRi told us Cheers is going to be her next single! ZOMG! Drink to that, yeah yeah!” Well, doesn’t someone sound excited! Truth is though, the track is pretty awesome, so we can’t really blame him!

TMZ reports a fire broke out in the lighting area above the stage. To make matters worse, Rihanna was an hour late getting on stage, and Rihanna recently cancelled another concert in Dallas during 2010.

Rihanna’s newest music video, ‘Man Down,’ is sparking some controversy due to its violent nature, reports Billboard.
The video features Rihanna shooting a man dead after he sexually assaults her, which many believe is encouraging young women to turn to violence.
In Rihanna’s defence, the singer tweeted claiming the video stands for female empowerment, after she herself was a victim of a violent attack by then boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009.
“Young girls/women all over the world…we are a lot of things! We’re strong innocent fun flirtatious vulnerable, and sometimes our innocence can cause us to be naive! We always think it could NEVER be us, but in reality, it can happen to ANY of us! So ladies be careful,” she wrote.
The song features such lyrics as ”Momma, I just shot a man dead…I never been so proud.”
Several groups, including The Parents Television Council and Industry Ears, are asking BET and Viacom to stop airing the video.
“If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass,” said Paul Porter, co-founder of Industry Ears.
Melissa Henson of the Parents Television Council continued with the criticism, saying “instead of telling victims they should seek help, Rihanna released a music video that gives retaliation in the form of premeditated murder the imprimatur of acceptability.”
On one hand, they do have a point. If Brown released a video like this, the world would be up in arms. Yet she’s allowed to condone murder?
On the other hand, though, the video would make no sense if she didn’t act out the lyrics. The song calls for a “man down,” so artistically, she had to do it. I think people are just taking this too seriously – her video is like a mini movie, an exaggerated story of a woman defending herself. It’s called artistic expression!
