Disclaimer #1: I’m from Ottawa. Born and raised. Disclaimer #2: I love Rihanna. Ever since “Pon de Replay.” Disclaimer #3: This post about Rihanna in an Ottawa Senators jersey is me being selfish so that this moment can live forever on the interwebz. Disclaimer #4: I believe this moment is a sign from the universe that me and Rihanna are meant to be. Disclaimer #5: I will now try to work Rihanna in a Sens jersey into a meaningful and useful andPOP article.
A jersey or any other sports team apparel, whether from your fav team or not, is a classic staple in anyone’s wardrobe. The only trick is making it fashionable and working into everyday outfits—not just for game day. Sports apparel are handy items for any streetwear ensemble. Even if you’re not a sports fan, there are still ways to incorporate the trend into your look.
Now you might be saying that people wear sports jerseys all the time—which is true—and that there is nothing new to this “trend”–which is a little true too. But here’s the catch: rocking sports jerseys and sports apparel was in its heyday in 90′s hip hop and streetwear. With the emerging 90′s fashion revival, you too are seeing the big return of trendy sportswear to the masses. It’s no longer just for the diehard sports fans to rock a jersey or snapback (and don’t let those diehard sports fans discourage you from wearing their team logos). A big sign that this is true is the announcement that the iconic 90s Starter jackets are set to make their return this fall, first with the NFL line followed by the NBA collection.
The Good Old Hockey Game: Rihanna

Here is Rihanna in West Hollywood using a heritage Ottawa Sens jersey as a dress. Now I don’t recommend using a sports jersey as a dress because not everyone can pull it off, but clearly Rihanna can and beside she probably doesn’t give a fuq. Anyways, she glams up her look with nice gold accessories and and golden Tom Ford ankle cuff shoes. I like this look because it makes me want to believe that the people of Barbados are all diehard hockey fans.
Nicola Roberts

Now this isn’t a slight to Montreal Canadiens fans (however, you will notice that there will be no Toronto Maple Leafs pics on this post) but this is an example of how not to wear a jersey as a dress. Nicola Roberts (one fifth of U.K. girl group Girls Aloud) actually wore this to a ‘red carpet’ event for the premiere of her reality show. This look is strictly streetwear! It’s all about context, so the posh surrounding just makes her cheap in comparison. Plus, she could have done a lot better accessorizing her outfit! Obviously this wasn’t well received in the U.K., where someone mistook this outfit to be from an American football team.

Justin Bieber is having a crazy time right now. March started with a wild and shirtless 19th birthday party in London which apparently turned out to be the worst birthday ever, he collapsed on stage, he hit a paparazzo, got dissed by his ex Selena, and then got his pet monkey confiscated! That last one sounds unreal, like when did J-Biebs get a monkey anyway?!
Hopefully the month of April will be a turning point for Justin and it’s already off to a good start with the release of his duel Teen Vogue covers for the magazine’s May issue. Judge which cover you like best.

But Justin isn’t the only celebrity who gets to celebrate scoring a magazine cover. April may have just started but the magazine industry is already busting out its May issues.

So check out who also landed themselves a cover and find out which celeb will rule the newsstand!
It looks like Rihanna isn’t only making a cameo in the This is the End movie, but she’s also set to appear on Chris Brown’s new album. The track “Put It Up” will appear as a duet between the singer and Brown for his upcoming album, X.
The two previously recorded “Nobody’s Business” for her seventh album, Apologetic.
Brown told MTV that he wanted a change from the same “four-on-the-floor” pop. He says that people expect that from them, so he wanted to change it up and have Rihanna sing a genre that people have not heard her tackle before. He said “I wanted to do an R&B record,” something he says is different for her. Brown says their new duet “Put it Up” is “youthful and at the same time sexy.” He also teased at a possible Chris Brown and Rihanna album.
Whatever people say about this duo clearly has little effect on them, as they continue to collaborate and make news by doing so. Nevertheless, it should be interesting to see their sounds come together, and see how their collaboration effects their respective records.
X is set to drop this summer.
“Hermione just stole all of our shit” are words I never thought I would hear anyone say, but that’s exactly what happens in this latest Seth Rogan buddy comedy movie. She also swears and it’s actually so perfect and Game of Thrones worthy (let’s make this happen).
Anyways, the apocalyptic buddy comedy This Is The End stars James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel and just about everyone in Hollywood. It’s pretty much the who’s who of the famous people/comedy bubble, and it even includes a cameo by none other than Rihanna. So many people die in this one trailer alone that I’m sure the haters will love this flick so much that their little black hearts warm up just a tiny bit.
This Is the End is due to arrive in theatres on June 12, 2013.
Prom is a time that most kids either look back on with fondness or despair (when you play the game of prom, you either win or you die!). Some people look great and find the perfect person/people to share it with and others…don’t. Some even elect not to go at all. If you do plan on going, here are 8 songs for the perfect promposal that will help woo your guy/girl/hobo off the street into going with you, and hopefully, bring you one step closer to the night of your dreams and/or nightmares.
1) Let’s Go – Matt and Kim
Not everyone wants to go to prom. Some kids legitimately don’t feel like going, while others think they’re being cool non-conformists by staying at home, all while their friends are having the time of their lives. Basically, those who opt to stay home are the people who’ll regret their decisions later. Convince your girl or guy to go with you by playing this upbeat tune that chants “let’s go” over and over again. Eventually you’ll get them with the not-so-subliminal messaging alone.
2) Marry You –Bruno Mars
Prom is an excellent time for people who are in a relationship. In fact, in my final year of high school, prom was the primary motivation for even acquiring a boo. Even though your partner is a tailor-made prom date, you should still put in the effort when asking officially them to be your prom date. For the sake of cuteness, use this frankly adorable Bruno Mars song (note: just DON’T get married. Other than that, the rest of the song is pretty cute).
3) One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) – One Direction
Maybe you have the perfect person in mind to take to prom; they’re cute, funny, nice, and you want to put your face on their face. But— plot twist—they have no idea that you exist. Use this song to tell them that you WILL get them to go to prom with you, one way or another.
Note: author not responsible for anyone being creeped out and/or terrified by this prom-posal tactic.
4) Umbrella ft. Jay-Z feat. Rihanna
Oh Rihanna…please try harder.
Scheduled to make an appearance in Chicago’s Barrington High School, the singer made 2000 kids wait for more than three hours for her to appear.
And when she did arrive, she only stayed for 12 minutes. Blaming the traffic for her tardiness, Rih tweeted, “This Chicago traffic is not working,” along with a picture of cars in front of her.
The singer was to congratulate the winners of the Shine Like a Diamond contest, in which schools and students submitted videos and were recognized for giving back to their communities, their creativity and school spirit.
But despite Rihanna’s short stay, she DID send a series of tweets honouring the school.
This is a nice gesture, but being late is never cute. At least she made an appearance instead of bailing on the kids.
When it comes to hip hop covers, often than not you’re left thinking “why would they even attempt covering THAT song!?” But then there are those that cause you to begin dancing around your room with excitement.
But what’s most surprising is when those covers are done by non-hip hop artists. I don’t know if it’s the initial shock of “oh my god, this actually sounds good,” or the weird juxtaposition of when the song is done in another genre entirely. The bottom line, though, is that they’re good and all we want to do is listen to them.
Here are 10 of the best hip hop covers from non-hip hop artists.
Ed Sheeran and Passenger — “No Diggity / Thrift Shop”
A pretty recent cover comes from music’s most soulful ginger, Ed Sheeran, who teamed up with Passenger’s Mike Rosenberg during a recent visit to Australian radio to give us an amazing mash up of Blackstreet’s 90′s hit “No Diggity” and Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop.”
Ed Sheeran — “Empire State of Mind”
Ed Sheeran makes another appearance on this list with his cover of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State” of Mind for BBC Radio 1. Ed can do no wrong, so it’s no surprise that this cover (like everything he does) is nothing short of perfection.

Ed Sheeran—”Pony”

My, my Chris Brown. You still have much to learn!
Performing at the Emerson Theatre in Hollywood early Thursday morning, the singer ranted to a crowd about how to treat a woman…and of course, the results were not pretty.
In his rant, the 23-year-old said:
“Every guy in this building has said one thing to their female … If you’re not an insecure n—-, and you let her have fun with her friends, I applaud you. But you gotta say that one thing to her, and I made this s–t up. [sings] Don’t make me have to tell you again, that that’s my p—y baby! It is mine, baby, babe, mine. So you better not give it away!”
As horrifying as this sounds, Brown continued with his proclamation with, ”So every person in this motherf—– building, if you got a bad b—h you better say that to her. Cause she might f–k another n—-.”
Yikes! So much for trying to make an effort to gain everyone’s respect again.
Brown, who called the infamous 2009 Grammy’s incident where he beat Rihanna “the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake,” is probably the last person on Earth that should be offering advice on how to treat women.
As someone who is “trying” so hard to improve his image, he needs to be really careful with what he says. But alas, none of this is doing anything to help his case.
Oh, and by the way, women can speak for themselves on how to be treated. We don’t need a man telling others how us females want. We are human beings, not objects.

It’s no secret that Law and Order loves borrowing story lines from the real world. Tabloid antics with celebs from Tom Cruise to Michael Jackson have turned into episode gold for the crime drama. The teaser for the next Law and Order: SVU involves a troubled celeb couple that are a liiiittle too similar to Rihanna and Chris Brown – and one of them dies! Riri’s definitely had trouble keeping endorsements since she and CB got back together, but I doubt their love story will take a turn this shocking. Still makes for good TV!
Rihanna just debuted her River Island Collection during London Fashion Week which officially gives her an invitation to the celebrity fashion designers club.
Celebrities can be great people to look up to when looking for style inspiration, but some celebs are a little bit easier to channel sartorially than others as you can purchase a little bit of them through their own fashion lines. However not every celebrity-turned-designer are as good as others.
Let us guide you through the messy world of celebrity fashion lines to see which celebrity fashion lines you should save your change for. We break down who’s worthy of becoming a fashion brand, who’s merely a hit, and who should keep their day job in one handy dandy list.
1) Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen: The Row, Elizabeth & James, Olsenboye, StyleMint, and Mary-Kate and Ashley for Wal-Mart.

Where to begin with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? The famous duo got their start in the entertainment industry at the ripe ol’ age of six month, when the fraternal twins took turns playing baby sister Michelle Tanner on Full House. That was only the beginning and they went on to build an empire worth over one billion dollars. Apart from the iconic role of Michelle Tanner and their many movies and other T.V. shows, the twins managed to create a name for themselves within the fashion industry.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen top our list because not only have they had a head start in the business than most celebrities, their many fashion lines have managed to boost their fledgling adult acting careers and have given them a new sense of purpose and career path. Their many successful fashion lines have been the envy of other celebrities since they are quintessentially the blueprint for other celebrity fashion lines. The sisters have all markets covered from luxury brand The Row, to mid-market brand Elizabeth & James (the Elizabeth is for their sister who has now become a in-demand actress herself), and Olseneboye which is an exclusive partnership with mass-market department store JC Penney.
So not only are their fashions available to everyone which score major points, but when other celebrities where your clothes then you know you’ve made it as a fashion designer.
Verdict: Major Fashion Brand- for their mass market and high fashion appeal and high-end and low-end price ranges.
2) Victoria Beckham: Victoria Beckham Collection, dvb, and Victoria by Victoria Beckham.

While as Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham wasn’t the usual centre of the attention as she had to compete with the more in-your-face members of the iconic girl group, the Spice Girls. But now that she’s been on her own, Victoria probably commands the most attention from the public than any of the other members of the Spice Girls. While she did attempt and ultimately floundered at a solo pop career, Victoria has maintained her A-list status as a major fashion icon– all thanks to her impeccable fashion sense, her superstar athlete of a husband David Beckham, and her trademark pout.
What makes Victoria Beckham’s fashion lines so successful is that she’s the best brand ambassador for her clothing. Wonder what she’s wearing in all those various paparazzi shots of her? Well she’s most likely wearing her own clothes! Other stars have taken notice as well, having been spotted and photographed wearing clothes from Victoria’s collections. (Other celebrities wearing your designs a major fashion coup!) The problem with celebrity fashion lines are that the celebrities hardly ever wear their own designs! While celebrity designers might don their own designs once in a while, they are never as consistent as Victoria Beckham.
Verdict: High Fashion Brand- for its high fashion appeal but unfortunately her clothes have high-end to mid-market price tags on them. So you better save up!
3) Rachel Zoe: The Rachel Zoe Collection and Luxe Rachel Zoe. Read more…
Rihanna debuted her River Island collection last month during London Fashion Week – and it was a train wreck.
The Daily Beast called the line “tiresome, underwhelming and uninspired marketing exercise” and Huffington Post Canada called it a “wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen” Oh Riri…what are we going to do with you.
Conversely, in the issue with the star in question on the cover, ELLE reported said ”My perception of her style was squarely rooted in the raunchy stage wear and street style that are synonymous with her image, (but) aside from a nod to street style in the denim section, the collection is an ode to all things high fashion.”
…I’m sorry. What? Are we looking at the same line? The line that has been eloquently described as “porny?’
To each their own. We are all allowed to have an opinion – and mine is that Rihanna is a tad in over her head. The girl makes catchy music, but she stay away from things as huge in the fashion industry as the London Fashion Week where the big girls play. Maybe stay in the sandbox a little longer and try again – but with more fabric next time.
Calling it a clothing line is generous considering there is not a lot of clothing involved. In my opinion, artist lines are going to appeal to their fans – shouldn’t the line feature clothing that can be worn by said fans? Celebrity lines can be fun with great summer dresses and funky shoes that, while pricey, can be worn to events by all of our favourite celebs. No celebrity is going to wear mesh to an event – or none that I follow and respect. I conclude that Rihanna needs to go back to the drawing board and think of some unique and spunky designs that will flatter rather than expose.
The line is full of see through clothing that includes mesh – nipple bearing mesh. That is definitely what I am wearing my next night out on the town…not. The Huffington Post reported that Rihanna herself was an hour late for her 9 minute fashion show. Fashionably late, or just disrespectful, it’s up to you to decide. Would you wear anything from Rihanna’s clothing line?
See photo’s of Rihanna’s clothing line below

I’m not entirely sure where Vin Diesel was going with this cover, but he certainly succeeded in making me a little creeped out. Singing along to Rihanna’s “Stay” playing in the background, the actor tries his hardest to live up to the singer.
I don’t know if this is supposed to be serious or funny, but the part when he says “Happy V Day, amore” complimented with a wet smooch has me cringing and squirming all over.
Vin, I think it’s safe to say that you should stick to what you do best: looking badass while driving cars.
“Mirrors” – Justin Timberlake
JT didn’t even give us enough time to finish swooning over “Shirt and Tie,” and he’s already come back with a new single. While “Shirt and Tie” was a more laid back R&B track, “Mirrors” draws on classic “Cry Me a River” style Justin. And get this, ladies, it’s eight minutes long. Yes, that means you get to listen to the sweet sounds of JT’s voice non-stop for eight whole minutes. Check out Justin Timberlake’s new album The 20/20 Experience dropping March 19.
“Stay” – Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko (One-take version)
Okay, all I could say after watching this video was wow. Just wow. Rihanna took things to a whole new level with her new video for “Stay.” Shot in one single take, RiRi sits in a bathtub with no makeup, no extra editing, and no frills. It’s just her sitting there raw, singing the emotional ballad with some extremely convincing sad-face shots. The video is so astoundingly simple it’s just perfect. There’s another
In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week,The Wanted get their own reality show and Justin Bieber is rumoured to have “cheated” on Selena Gomez with Rihanna.
HIT: The Wanted gets their own reality show
According to Vulture, the Wanted will be getting their very own Ryan Seacrest-produced reality show on E! Cameras will follow the English boy band as they make the move to L.A. to record their third album. With Seacrest’s blindingly white smile supporting them, you know the show will be a hit. Though, the big question on everyone’s mind (okay, just mine) is: will Lindsay Lohan (Max George’s alleged groupie) make an appearance? Shall we start taking bets?
MISS: Justin Bieber “cheated” on Selena Gomez with Rihanna

The worst rumour of the week goes to: Life & Style for reporting that Justin Bieber cheated on Selena Gomez with Rihanna during the early days of their relationship. To that I say: HAHAHAHAHA and throw in a Ryan Lochte-inspired “jeah, right!” because this is the worst hardly though-out pairing ever. Doesn’t Life & Style know by now that Rihanna likes the bad boys (or in Chris Brown’s case, douchebags)? Justin Bieber is too soft and baby-faced to be anywhere near RiRi’s radar.
HIT: Matt Smith to join Ryan Gosling’s new movie

Doctor Who’s Matt Smith is set to join the Ryan Gosling-directed project, How To Catch a Monster, alongside Gosling’s girlfriend, Eva Mendes. Considering the online fandoms surrounding Doctor Who and Gosling, I have to ask: is Tumblr funding this project? Asides from Mendes, it seems like Gosling’s casting director spent a lot of time on Tumblr to do his job. To that, I slow clap for your similar work ethics.

She may not be on daytime television anymore, but Oprah Winfrey continues to show us why she was the reigning Queen of the prolific talk show format on Oprah’s Next Chapter.
In her latest not-Oprah-Winfrey-Show special, the big O (stop it with your dirty minds) managed to crack open Lance Armstrong. The disgraced cycling star readily confessed to all the doping allegations that have been shoveled on him for almost a decade.
Armstrong isn’t the only star to have confessed to all the years of lies and debauchery on Oprah’s couch (or non-couch for those still watching post-”retired” Oprah party). For some reason, Oprah was the go-to-person for celebrities who finally wanted to escape from their emotional burden. To be fair, Oprah is no Jay Leno; she doesn’t let her guests off that easily. But they could’ve gone to Barbara Walters or Peter Mansbridge (if they were Canadian) for some tough love.
Maybe the source of all of Oprah’s truth-pulling abilities come from her kind eyes and warm voice. Seriously, would you be able to lie to this face?

This also happens to be the woman who has given away millions of dollars of free gifts, cars (YOU GET A CAR! YOU GET A CAR! YOU GET A CAR!), trips to Australia and makeovers. Not to mention, the lady has been running her own network of charities for years. If that doesn’t give you enough reasons to break down in front of Oprah and purge yourself of all the lies and deceit you wouldn’t tell your own priest. When you think about it in that way, it kind of sounds like Oprah is God.
In any case, here are just a few of the celebrities that have fallen to possibly holier than thou power of Ms. Oprah Winfrey.
1. Rihanna

Last August, the Babe from Barbados confessed to Oprah that Chris Brown was the love of her life. It was the basically the Earth-shattering confession that no one wanted to hear considering Brown beat her face to a pulp right before the 2009 Grammys. Rihanna most likely felt at ease confessing to Oprah as she apparently had no opinion on the controversial re-pairing. Are we taking note, J-School undergrads?
2. Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise’s now tragic relationship with Katie Holmes will forever be defined by the moment Cruise lost it on Oprah’s couch. You could tell he was so bursting with love due to his new relationship but it took Oprah to unlatch the crazy that was in him and would forever change the star. Think about it. Pre-couch jumping incident, Cruise was the most bankable action star. But after he took that leap of faith on Oprah’s stage, he suddenly became this controlling, Scientology nut job. Cruises’ now recuperating public figure can only be attributed to the nice stories his co-stars have been spreading. Wrapping up a scene to get Bill Hader onto a plane to see his family? The ultimate “aww” inducing story.

Anyone who had tickets to the season nine grand finale of X-Factor UK on Sunday (Dec. 9) was dayam lucky because Rihanna AND One Direction KILLED their live performances.
Before James Arthur was crowned as victor, Rihanna did an emotional performance of “Stay.” Her vocals were flawless and you can tell she really taps into the emotion of the song each time she sings it — it’s clear she’s evolving as an artist.
X-Factor alum One Direction also performed their soon to be third single “Kiss You.” There was an awkward moment when Zayn’s microphone cut out but it also spurred him to hilariously rant to Harry after the performance around the five minute mark.
What was your favourite performance of the night?

Australian singer/songwriter Sia has become a familiar voice on the North American airwaves, with Flo Rida’s “Wild Ones” and David Guetta’s “Titanium.”
It’s no secret that she wrote Rihanna’s hit song “Diamonds.” And while Princess Riri definitely does the song justice with her distinctive voice, Sia’s rendition at the Norwegian-American Achievement Awards is pretty boss as well.
Watch Sia own it here
This November, Rihanna debuted her stunning video for “Diamonds,” which is a song off of her latest album Unapologetic. The song is pretty poetic — which is why I think it inspired so many of her fans to truly shine like diamonds.
The song has garnered many acoustic covers on YouTube. Some have a surprising indie vibe, and others features groups of friends coming together to sing the lovely song. Even fellow celebs are covering the song. Recently, for their first show in L.A in three years, the Jonas Brothers sang “Diamonds” in their classic acoustic tone. But they aren’t the only ones to have me swooning over Rihanna’s song. Here are 5 amazing covers of Rihanna’s “Diamonds.”

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Jennifer Lawrence gets in a fender bender because she thought she saw Honey Boo Boo and One Direction calls Piers Morgan stinky.
HIT: Jennifer Lawrence car accident caused by wishful Honey Boo Boo thinking
With each and every uninhabited Jennifer Lawrence interview, the actress continues to give us more and more reasons to love her. This week, The Hunger Games starlet had to explain how she rear-ended a family in Georgia because she thought she saw Honey Boo Boo. On the 0.00001 per cent chance Lawrence reads this, we can totally be BFFs, nerd out on Harry Potter and watch Here Comes Honey Boo Boo together. Call me!
MISS: CNN’s Piers Morgan vs. One Direction

On the heels of the news that David Beckham was leaving the L.A. Galaxy, CNN’s Piers Morgan tweeted, “No serious top flight team would sign Beckham for football reasons any more- he should retire gracefully.” 1D’s Liam Payne and Harry Styles harmlessly replied to Morgan saying that Beckham is their hero. Apparently, that was enough for Morgan to throw in a couple of unwarranted 1D quips of his own, including a suggestion that Beckham should join the group and Harry should grow a pair. Was it a feeble attempt on Morgan’s part to finally get some publicity in America since joining CNN? Maybe, maybe not. But we do know the boys got the last laugh as #PiersMorganisSmelly trended on Twitter.
HIT: Journalists go crazy on 777 tour
Hands down some of the best stories of the week had to be the ones filtering out of the 777 Boeing airplane Rihanna and her crew hired to take her, 150 or so journalists and fans to seven cities in seven days for her 777 tour (see where she’s going with the 7s?). While the singer stayed up till 6 a.m. slinging out shots from behind the bar, some music journalists were going crazy due to lack of sleep and access to the singer. During one airplane ride, a radio DJ from Australia went streaking down the airplane aisles to the delight of his tired and frustrated peers. Another reporter, this time from GQ, somehow managed to keep typing a story out on his laptop even though he was falling asleep. At the end of the tour on Tuesday, Rihanna apologized for her absence and mentioned that she would do it all again (I can hear the invitations being ripped apart now).

Pink
What she’ wearing: Pink wore a stunning bronze/taupe sleeveless leather and chiffon Catherine Deane gown at the American Music Awards.
Why we love it: What a great night for Pink, not only did she score major points with the dress, but her performance of “Try” wins all the awards! (Now would be a perfect time to go watch her performance, just make sure to come back to this page when you’re done.) The leather fabric adds some shine to the bodice giving it a cool metallic effect, plus the detailed cutouts create a stunning pattern that gives this look an edge. The feminine full-length pleated chiffon skirt contrasts the edgy top and elongates Pink’s body. All-in-all a standout look from many of the red carpet styles at the AMAs.*
Takeaway: Leather fabrics can come in multiple colours so try to choose one that’s the most versatile and compatible with your wardrobe, since leather can be quite expensive.
*As you probably know the American Music Awards happened this past weekend and there was a plethora of really well dressed celebrities in attendance. So as to not make this list dominated by AMA attendees I chose to highlight only one look, but here are two of my other favs from the night: Taylor Swift and The Wanted.
Emma Stone
What she’s wearing: Stone was photographed wearing Burberry Prorsum, consisting of a belted navy peplum bustier top paired with a green sequin pencil skirt, at the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in N.Y.C.
Why we love it: Stone looks festive in sparkles and it’s hard not to notice her in this outfit. It feels refreshing to see a sequined skirt and not a top. The two fabrics (sequin and satin) seem to compliment each other when paired together plus navy and emerald green are a colour combo not often seen on the red carpet. The black waistband provides some contrast while accentuating Stone’s waist and creating that popular peplum effect.
Takeaway: Sequins can be fun but can be hard to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe. Save sequins for nights out or special events as opposed to daywear since little girls and fairy princesses tend to enjoy sequins all day round.
