I get it superfans. Sometimes, you’re so obsessed with your fave celebrity that you NEED to be right up close to them. If you could only talk to them and hug them, you just know they’d love you back.
Perhaps that’s what this Nicki Minaj fan thought when he rushed on stage during her performance of ”Right By My Side” in Miami, Tuesday night. The fan briefly grabbed her waist before being Terry Tated, punched and kicked offstage by security. Those guys don’t mess around…
Minaj looked shocked but the champ carried on like nothing happened. It wasn’t until later that she poked fun of the incident on Twitter:
She wrote: “Florida u were amazing tonight!!!! Thank u soooo much for the love!!!!! Mmmuuuuaaahhhh!!!!!” and retweeted a commenter’s take on the incident: “Lmaooooooooo. Sit down!!! > RT @playhousebarb: @NICKIMINAJ i hear you almost had to put them liddle puppy paws on somebody 2nite.”

Nicki Minaj wants nothing more than the guy who’s wooing her in the video for “Right By My Side” to get with it and lay a kiss on her. What does a girl have to do? He offers her a silver coin to throw in the fountain and it’s not very hard to guess what she wishes for.
No… she probably didn’t wish for him to buy her a swag car with a pink ribbon wrapped around it, though that’s a sweet, albeituncomfortable, gesture on his part. It was definitely the kiss that she wished for. She looks up at the moon at the end with this goofy, childlike expression like “yah, you know this is what I wanted.”
It’s unsure where Chris Brown stands in the video. We get glimpses of him singing on the side but he never really interrupts the plot. It’s funny Minaj employed rapper Nas as her leading man when Brown was there the whole time. Still, the two seem to strike a friendship in the Benny Boom-directed video.
Minaj has a flair for the dramatic, though compared to her other videos this one is pared down significantly — she doesn’t even change hair colours! Shock.

Nicki Minaj dropped two very different tracks this week, both from her forthcoming album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.”
“Beez in the Trap” is comparatively more simple than Starships, with minimal and raw production. Although the beat is simple, she raps with that pop she’s known for with Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz.
Minaj posted the dirty version of the song herself on Twitter along with some of the dirty lyrics of the song: ”B***hes aint sh*t & they aint sayin nuffin! A hunnit muthaf***as can’t tell me nuffin! I beez in the trap! B beez in the trap!!!!”
Minaj’s track with Chris Brown “Right By My Side” also found its way online and it’s a bit more PG, featuring her softer singing voice.
The album drops on April 3 and if these tracks are any indication of the rest of the album, we are excited!
