Melrose Place Star Checks Out of Rehab

Unlike Amy Winehouse, Heather Locklear said “yes” to rehab.

Heather Locklear has checked out of an Arizona rehab facility after four weeks, reports E! News.

The star of “Melrose Place” had been receiving treatment for anxiety and depression. The actress was reunited with her 10-year-old daughter, Ava, who had been in the care of father, Richie Sambora, while the actress was in rehab.

“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression,” said Cece York, Locklear’s spokesperson, at the time of Locklear’s admission. “She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment.”

Before being admitted, paramedics were called to Locklear’s home by her psychiatrist in March, worried that she would overdose on prescription pills. It has been reported Locklear was not in a distressed state at the time of the 911 call.

According to Locklear’s publicist Cece Yorke, Locklear has been dealing with anxiety and depression.

“She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment, This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released,” said Yorke.

Locklear began taking medication after she filed for divorce from rocker Richie Sambora in February 2006. Locklear’s current beau, Jack Wagner, offered his support. “Anyone who has the courage to seek help in order to live a healthy life gets my support 110 percent,” he said.
