
They say you should always end on a high note, and that’s what Lil’ Wayne is doing. In a recent interview, the rapper explained he may call it quits after his next release, Tha Carter IV.
Weezy made the announcement to XXL Magazine, and said:: “I’m bowing out still on top. I’ma make y’all want me when I retire.”
“I’ma make y’all be like, ‘Nooo!’ I ain’t leaving out this b***h when y’all be like, ‘Yeah, it’s about time, dawg.’ Carter IV might be my last one.”
Lil’ Wayne also commented in the article that he wants to spend more time with his four kids.

TMZ reports that Kelly Ripa found out only 15 minutes before air that Regis Philbin was retiring. Although she was shocked, she was nevertheless supportive of the decision.
TMZ says that Regis kept the news a secret as he was afraid of leaks prior to the official annoucement.
So the question remains, who is going to replace Regis?
Alicia Keys is working hard – so that she can quit.
The talented songstress told Contact Music that she plans to retire at 30, just three years from now.
“I am working hard now so I have the choice to retire when I want,” she told the site. “I would like to travel the world and stay in places instead of having to move on like I do now. I want to experience difference cultures.”
Keys said that the reason for her early retirement is that she feels too pressured by the business and fame. In 2006 she took a break from it all, travelling to Egypt.
