Either Joe Estevez is a saint trying to save his family’s honor or a douchebag trying to take advantage of a bad situation caused by his nephew Charlie Sheen.

It’s no secret that Charlie Sheen announced that he is calling it quits from “Two and a Half Men.” However TMZ reports that Sheen’s Uncle Joe Estevez has offered to step into the show and replace his nephew.

The idea would be that Charlie’s character has gone missing or overseas (details on that part are sketchy) and Joe would play the role of his uncle. Hardly a stretch. Estevez is hoping to pitch it to show creator Chuck Lorre.

As far as we are concerned Estevez is just trying to take advantage of the situation, but if he can pull of the deal, good on him.
