Now that Katy’s got her personal life back on track, she’s about to have an even busier professional life with the release of her upcoming “Teenage Dream” deluxe edition album.

MTV writes ”Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection” will package a ton of remixes and three new bonus tracks.

Prior to its February 21 release date, Katy’s releasing “Part of Me” as her new single. We’ll be hearing a lot of it on the radio in the next few days. Here’s a sneak peek of the uplifting pop song:

Drake was supposed to release his next album, “Take Care,” on October 25th, however the sophomore album has been delayed. He explained on his site:

“So I have completed 19 songs (17 on physical and 2 on bonus), and have run into a roadblock of clearing 3 samples in time to make the October 24th date. My options were to take the songs off and make the birthday release happen, or to take an extra couple weeks to get the paper work right and give you the album they way I NEED you to hear it. The choice was clear as day for me.”

Hopefully the extra wait is worth it!

T.I. spoke to MTV News on the weekend, saying he feels fantastic since being released.

“I feel phenomenal. But I’ve always been the kind of guy — I never really get a chance to soak up the feeling of the moment because even as we speak, I’m planning for the next moment,” T.I. said during a Sunday brunch for his Akoo clothing brand on Sunday. “I’m looking to the future and trying to just move forward, just moving forward. I refuse to remain stagnant.”

Justin Bieber posted a pic of him and Santa Claus doing “The Dougie.” We can only assume Bieber is hanging out with Santa to shoot pictures for his upcoming Christmas album.

Although there is no official release date, Bieber has dropped hints the release date for November 1st. It makes sense – just in time for holiday shopping.

Justin Bieber recently tweeted out the date “#nov1st,” and we are thinking that’s a possible release date for his much-anticipated Christmas album.

Confirmed on the album is a collaboration with the legendary Boyz II Men. Taylor Swift and Sean Kingston are also rumoured to be on the release, and also one secret “superstar” artist. Scooter Braun tweeted “with 1one of the most #Legendary performers ever.”

It will be interesting to see how the album turns out.

Demi Lovato’s “Unbroken” is  getting a lot of positive attention, and even critics like it. However, Demi says she doesn’t care what anybody else thinks.

She told MTV News, “So, if they’re good, awesome; if they’re bad, whatever.”

Billboard.com reports that she’ll likely sell about 110,000 copies of her album. ”I’m feeling really excited,” Lovato said. “The album just came out, so we’re really, really excited. And it seems to be doing well, so I’m really, really happy.

Rihanna announced via Twitter that her new album is due in the fall.

One of her Twitter followers asked, “When’s the next album due?” Rihanna exuberantly replied, “THIS FALL!!!!!”

In July producer Verse Simmonds spoke to MTV News about the progress of the album.

“From what I understand, she’s closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved, and I’m really excited about them as well,” Simmonds said. “They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts.”

50 Cent is fighting with his record label Interscope, and is threatening not to release anymore music. 50 feels the label is moving too slow and not working hard enough.

50 posted to his Twitter, “Man I’m not releasing an album… I can’t believe Interscope is this f**ked up right now. I apologize to all my fans.

“I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to (too) many… they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”

50 has so much money he doesn’t even need to release anymore music. Off Vitamin Water alone that guy has money to burn.

Can’t wait to hear Blink 182′s “Up All Night?” Well you are in luck – it’s being released in a few hours on Blink182.com.

Mark Hoppus sent out a Tweet saying, “ATTENTION!!! Up All Night premiere is being moved up to today in the next few hours!!! Stay tuned!!! Please RT!!”

Although we are sure you are excited, Hoppus is even more stoked. In an email interview with MTV News, Hoppus said the following:

“We’re all so stoked to finally have music out that people can listen to. I think I’m probably more excited than anyone else in the world for the new single,” Hoppus wrote. ” ‘Up All Night’ contains elements of everything we’ve done in Blink-182, and pushes further than we’ve gone before. Can’t wait for everyone to check it out.”

They say you should always end on a high note, and that’s what Lil’ Wayne is doing. In a recent interview, the rapper explained he may call it quits after his next release, Tha Carter IV.

Weezy made the announcement to XXL Magazine, and said:: “I’m bowing out still on top. I’ma make y’all want me when I retire.”

“I’ma make y’all be like, ‘Nooo!’ I ain’t leaving out this b***h when y’all be like, ‘Yeah, it’s about time, dawg.’ Carter IV might be my last one.”

Lil’ Wayne also commented in the article that he wants to spend more time with his four kids.

‘Titanic’ is coming back to theatres – in 3-D.

The boat tragedy, which stars a young Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, will be re-released by Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox in a new 3-D format.

James Cameron’s Oscar-winning film will be rereleased April 6 of next year to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Titanic setting sail on April 10.

Cameron says the film was “painstakingly” converted to 3-D and promises “an epic experience.”

Released in 1997, “Titanic” won 11 Academy Awards and grossed more than $1.8 billion worldwide.

Is it me or does the thought of exploiting so many deaths for a “epic” 3-D experience sound so bad? Sure, it would probably have some cool effects, but do we really need to see people hitting propellors in 3-D picture? That James Cameron, he’ll do anything for a buck.

Beyoncé has revealed the name of her upcoming album: “4.”

In an exclusive interview with Billboard, the music star says that the album’s title was inspired by her fans.

“Everywhere I look, I see them calling it ’4,’” she explains. “I had a whole other name and concept, but I keep seeing that the fans love the name ’4,’ and I think it would be a really nice thing to let them name the record.”

The number four also holds personal significance for Beyoncé, and not just because her latest studio album will be her fourth as a solo artist. “We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” she says. “It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”

Beyoncé, who will also be honored with the Billboard Millennium Award at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22, says that her early inspiration for the album came from Afrobeat music pioneer Fela Kuti.

“I recorded more than 60 songs: everything I ever wanted to try, I just did it. I started off being inspired by Fela Kuti. I actually worked with the band from “Fela!” [the hit Broadway musical based on his life] for a couple of days…what I learned most from Fela was artistic freedom: he just felt the spirit.”

Beyonce’s albums always bring-it to the table, so I’m excited for it. Her songs just have a universal appeal that gets everyone moving, so I have a feeling it will also be a huge success. The album is slated for a June release.

After 90 days in the Betty Ford Center, Lindsay Lohan is finally free once more!

Popeater is reporting that Lindsay’s parents, Dina and Michael Lohan, are incredibly proud of their daughter and firmly believe that she has taken huge steps toward getting fully healthy once more.

“She’s just a different person,” Dina explained in an interview with Matt Lauer. “Shes been in a couple facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her.”

In a separate interview with the Early Show, Michael echoed Dina’s sentiments. “She has taken the right steps and put the right people back into her life,” he gushed.

Lindsay’s parents have had a history of public feuding, especially over what is best for Lindsay, so it’s nice to see them agree about something for once!

Lohan is expected to stay in LA to work on her clothing line rather than return to her Long Island home. She has no upcoming film projects after dropping out of what was supposed to be her comeback vehicle, a Linda Lovelace biopic titled “Inferno”, due to her time in jail and rehab.

Keep up the good work, Lindsay! You can get better! We believe in you!

We reported earlier that Lil Wayne will be on probation for the next three years of his life and must comply with the terms or face punishment.

Well, the terms of the probation were finalized and came into effect today.  Among them, written in documents obtained by TMZ, it is stated that Weezy “may not consume or drink any substance containing alcohol.”

It sucks for him, considering that he’s planned a huge party for this weekend to celebrate his release from prison—including at least 48 confirmed bottles of bubbly.  I guess his friends will just have to drink twice as much for him!

…Although those friends can’t have a criminal record.  Another one of the terms of Lil Wayne’s probation makes it clear that the rapper can’t associate with any person who has a criminal record.

In the continued competition for the biggest celebrity douchebag Dad, Michael Lohan maybe taking the lead beating out both Levi Johnston and Jon Gosselin.

Michael Lohan, father of celebrity wreck Linsday Lohan, issued a statement to PopEater.com explaining why his daughter was released from jail.

“As you know, thank God, Lindsay was released from jail tonight. However, what what most don’t know is that her release wasn’t due to the efforts of any one person. She was released because that’s what God wanted.

Lindsay walked into court, convinced by the ‘machine’ that she would ‘skate’ on the violation, but as it was, that did not happen. As a matter of fact, as was the case last time, Lindsay was misled.”

Lohan added:

“Unfortunately, this is NOT over yet. Lindsay still has to appear before Judge Fox (the same judge Shawn Holley just slapped in the face) on Oct 22. At which time, she will have to face his decision on the violation itself.

Dina and I caused this (by divorcing) and it’s our job to fix it. I pray that Dina and I can come to terms and do just that.”

What an amazing effort by this guy to milk his daughter’s own problems for his own celebrity. Granted we don’t think Dina Lohan is any prize of a Mother, but she has to be better than this schmuck!

Rock fans from all stripes have been anticipating this for a while – the release of the new Arcade Fire album called “The Suburbs.”

The album hits shelves in Canada August 3rd  and will be distributed by their own Sonovox label in Canada.

According to the press release, the album was written, arranged, performed and produced by the Arcade Fire and co-produced by Markus Dravs, The Suburbs was recorded around Montreal and New York over the past two years.

A double A side, limited edition 12″ will be available in record stores from May 27th 2010, featuring the tracks “The Suburbs” and “Month of May.” Both songs will be available for immediate download with pre-orders placed at arcadefire.com.

Formed in Montreal, the Arcade Fire is Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, William Butler, Tim Kingsbury, Sarah Neufeld and Jeremy Gara.

It has been a long road of redemption for the rapper but T.I. (real name Clifford Joseph Harris) is out of jail, according to MTV. His incarceration stemmed from a 2007 arrest where he attempted to buy firearms illegally.

The rapper was originally sentenced to 366 days in prison, however in December he was placed at a halfway house. Earlier this month he was allowed to return home to finish the remainder of his sentence.

However T.I. still has some of his debt to repay to society. According to TMZ, his lawyer says that he will be placed under “supervised release” for 23 days. What this means is T.I. must be home by 11 p.m. unless he’s performing, in which case his curfew is extended until 1 a.m.

Additionally Harris must complete 400 hours of community service and remain on probation for three years.

Today is a huge day for the music business. First we have the release of pop sensation Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 which has received a huge amount of attention. And if that wasn’t enough, Snoop Dogg is releasing More Malice, which is a reissue of an earlier album with fresh tracks.

MTV News spoke with Snoop about releasing an album on the same day as Bieber. When asked if he is nervous, Snoop replied by saying  he is not worrying. “I don’t have no problem with that,” he said. “That’s what the music industry was made on. I actually had a chance to meet the guy. He’s kind of cool. So, I don’t really have a problem with the teenyboppers or whatnot.”

With all fairness, Snoop was once in Bieber’s shoes, a teen star trying to release an album. “Once upon a time, I was a young teenager coming into the game, driving ‘em crazy and whatnot,” he explained.

Playboy model Shauna Sand, ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas, is attempting to stop the release of a sex tape featuring her and her Miami boyfriend, reports TMZ. Vivid Entertainment reportedly plans to release the tape Oct. 19.

“Yes I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year,” said Sand. “In fact, I’ve made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn’t sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now.”

Steven Hirsh, founder of Vivid Entertainment, says the company is legally entitled to release the tape. “We were approached by a third party who brought us footage of Shauna having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it. We’re comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage.”
