RadarOnline reports that Michael Lohan admits he should be dead by now. He’s not saying he necessarily deserves to be dead – more like he has cheated death.

“I don’t know what God has in store for me, but it must be BIG. I should have been dead 5 times already,” Michael exclusively told RadarOnline.

However, Lohan Sr. is back in a court ordered rehab facility, and he thinks things are looking up.

“It’s by far the best treatment facility I have ever worked with or have been to,” he said about A New Day treatment center in North Palm Beach, Fl.  “A little while longer and the blood clot would have taken me out.”

The Lohans are an amazing bunch. Although they act recklessly, they just keep avoiding death. Impressive!

What’s the first place you think of when you think rehab? Why it’s Mexico of course. You would only assume the drug capital of the world would have a fantastic rehab program. Well, that’s Brooke Mueller’s thoughts at least.

TMZ reports that Brooke is heading to Cancun (a nice relaxing town without distractions) to a facility that specializes in using a special drug that is illegal in America. The drug is called Ibogaine and it comes from the iboga plant. Some studies suggest that it stops addiction to alcohol, cocaine, methadone and heroin.

We honestly wish Brooke the best of luck, but we do see some issues with the plan. Most notably a treatment facility in Cancun seems out of place, and we are skeptical about this drug. Nevertheless at this point Brooke should be open to anything, considering she is walking around town with a crack pipe. So the good news is this treatment can’t make her condition any worse.

Amy Winehouse has checked into rehab again, her rep confirms. Guess she really is ‘Back to Black.’

The jazz singer “has embarked on a treatment program at the Priory Clinic,” her rep said in a statement. “She wants to be ready for performances in Europe this summer and decided to seek an assessment. She will remain at the Priory on doctors’ advice.”

She was convinced to check into the Priory clinic on Wednesday by her father, Mitch.

“Her dad sat her down and said ‘I think you’re drinking too much again.’ So she agreed to go an assessment to stop it becoming a bigger problem,” a source said.

The same source says the ‘Rehab’ singer also downed a miniature bottle of Smirnoff vodka on her way to the clinic “in typical Amy style.”

Winehouse is set to kick off a mini tour in Europe on June 18, and apparently, she will be out of rehab in time. ”She’s determined, and this is all off her own back,” said the source. “It’s just a lapse. There are ups and downs on the road, and there have been mostly ups recently. But this is a down and she’s done the right thing and gone to rehab.”

I don’t have much hope for her, but at least she’s trying to get on a good path. She’s so talented so I would hate to lost her at such an early age.

Matthew Perry is returning to rehab, reports Radar.

The ‘Friends’ star, who has struggled with substance abuse in the past, is making plans to go away to “focus on my sobriety.”

The actor released a statement explaining his situation, saying “I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.” Aw, I won’t.

Perry has apparently not relapsed but planned the trip “as a proactive measure.” He has been in rehab twice previously for a prescription pill addiction, once in 1997 and again in 2001.

Good for him for dealing with his issues. Substance abuse is not quickly curable, it’s often a life-long issue, so I’m glad he’s being smart about it and taking the precautions he needs to take.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is off to rehab once again!

The Tudors star checked into the Capio Nightingale Hospital, a rehab facility in London, last month for what is believed to be a fourth attempt at kicking his alcohol addiction. However, the attempt was short lived, the actor having lasted no more than ten days in the facility and claiming leave due to “work commitments,” reports Perez Hilton.

The last time the actor sought help was back in May 2010, after kicking back a few drinks in the VIP lounge of the JFK Airport in New York and being refused on board the plane because he was “too drunk to fly,” according to the Daily Mail. The actor was so angered that it sent him on a “foul-mouthed tirade,” angering girlfriend Reena Hammer to an extent that she gave him the ultimatum, “Check into rehab or I’m dumping you.” Smart lady! And it seems that Rhys Meyers agrees, since he seems to have “remembered” her…advice.

It seems that drunken airport stunts are what the Irish actor does best; back in June 2009, the Rhys Meyers was detained at the Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris for allegedly assaulting bar staff while under the influence, as well as being arrested in November 2007 at Dublin Airport for “bring drunk and in breach of the peace.”

His U.S. publicist recently confirmed his return to rehab, saying, ‘After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program. He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery.”

We really hope Jonathan is able to get his act together and take the wonderful advice of his girlfriend, and gives rehab a good enough chance to actually help him!

We don’t think anybody could call this a surprise – Brooke Mueller is back in rehab reports TMZ. After trying to pawn some items in Inglewood, CA last week, and refusing a drug test as part of her custody settlement with Charlie Sheen, Brooke has decided to get some help.

Sheen’s lawyers are going to court Tuesday to fight this issue, saying Brooke’s rehab stint is a stall tactic.

Whoever wins the custody of the kids probably will just be the lesser of two evils, and not necessarily a qualified parent. We think custody should go to Martin Sheen. He seems like a cool guy and he did a great job with Emilio Estevez.

Demi Lovato has reached out to Catherine Zeta Jones via Twitter, after the star announced she was entering a rehab facility for her Bipolar II disorder.

Lovato, who also entered a rehab facility this year for an eating disorder, tweeted “I don’t know Catherine Zeta-Jones personally but what she has decided to do it SO brave.. And SO difficult but worth it… I’m proud of her.”

Jones’ publicist announced earlier this week that “after dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her Bipolar II disorder. She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.”

It’s a fresh change to see younger starlets reach out to older stars – something you don’t see very often. I commend Jones for being so public with her disorder, it’s definitely nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. I just feel bad for her, from her husband Michael Douglas going through cancer to now dealing with this, she hasn’t had a great year. Jones is a fabulous actress and a respected member of the film scene though, so I’m sure she’ll bounce back in no time.

Seann William Scott, best known for his role as Stiffler in the American Pie franchise, has just completed a rehab stint.

Last month, the actor checked himself into an undisclosed rehab facility for “health and personal issues” says USmagazine.com. His rep says, “[The actor] completed a successful treatment program. He is looking forward to beginning production next month on American Reunion for Universal Pictures.”

Seann once admitted that his fans struggle to realize he is nothing like his obnoxious, hard-drinking “American Pie” counterpart.

Michael Lohan will be part of next season’s Celebrity Rehab, Radar Online has learned.

Dr. Drew Pinsky’s VH1 reality show will also feature ‘celebrities’ such as actress Bai Ling and Jeremy Jackson from Baywatch.

“I am at Celebrity Rehab and participating in the show to deal with the issues of codependency, to stop getting involved with and living through people who have addictions, who exhibit negative behavior and to avoid living vicariously thru them,” Lohan wrote. “I am looking to give my life the balance.”

So basically, Michael is saying he’s going to rehab so he’ll stop meddling with his daughter Lindsay’s life. As we all know, Lindsay Lohan has just come out of rehab and is slowly on her way to recovery. Props to her, she’s on the right path. But her path has been a bumpy one as Michael insists on telling the media every single detail of her life. And Dina? Well, Dina is the one who needs rehab the most, but we won’t get into that.

And now her father is going into rehab for ‘balance’? I mean, come on. The man obviously has bigger problems than what he says he does, and I think he needs to go to rehab for more serious things. And maybe he should do so, say, not on a TV show for the whole world to see. Fame whoring is what he’s addicted to, and that’s pretty much what he says he’s getting treated for. So good luck with that.

I don’t think his talking to the media will stop anytime soon. As long as Lindsay is involved in some sort of scandal, Michael will be there. Talking, blaming, and talking some more. But at the end of the day, I wish he would realize he is causing the biggest problems in his family. Just keep your mouth shut, don’t get television deals, and be a father. I bet you Dr. Drew doesn’t have that kind of advice.

When Nicole Richie is telling you to clean yourself up and get your life in order, that means you have really hit rock bottom.

Richie, who is no stranger to rehab and a “good time,” made some comments about Sheen while co-hosting “The View.”

“I don’t think he should make it somebody else’s responsibility to keep him sober,” Richie, who has been arrested three times and went to rehab once for substance abuse, said.

“If he wants [his sobriety] to last for a long time, it’s up to him,” Richie said on the talk show. “He’s an adult and he needs to take responsibility for his actions.”

Charlie, clean up! Nicole Richie thinks you are a mess. This is the same girl that thought “The Simple Life” was a ground breaking show.

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen has been doing very well since starting his round of in-home rehab, according to TMZ. Apparently he’s passed two separate drug tests – one taken yesterday and one taken a week ago – with flying colours.

Sheen has been working with team of nationally known addiction specialists that report Sheen’s progress directly to Warner Bros. and CBS so that it can be determined when Sheen’s show can go back into production.

Sheen himself has been reportedly feeling much better and is “itching to get back to work as soon as possible” according to one source.

Hmm, spent too much money on eight-balls, perhaps?

Just weeks after Lindsay Lohan completed her court-ordered rehab stay for a DUI case, she has allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie and Company, a jewelry store in Venice, California on January 22.

Lohan claims that she thought she was given permission to borrow the jewelry. Following the incident Lohan was given $40,000 bail for the theft charge and allegedly violating her probation in the DUI case. People.com reports that Lohan pleaded not guilty to the felony charge in court yesterday. No rulings have been revealed but the judge on the case was extremely stern with Lohan. Lohan is reportedly striving for a plea bargain. The next hearing isn’t until February 23.

In other news, TMZ.com reports that Lohan already had a similar mishap occur at the jewelry store just four days before the necklace incident. Lohan reportedly forgot to remove one of the earrings she was trying on at the store and attempted to walk out. The store clerk stopped Lohan and let her know she was still wearing the other earring. Apparently Lohan laughed it off and went on her way.

Lohan has been up to her ears in trouble this past year. Would she go out of her way to cause more trouble for herself and steal a $2,500 necklace? It seems bizarre.

Looks like Lindsay’s been caught in a big lie, Mean Girls style!

Jailbird and rehab queen Lindsay Lohan denied she was even in the jewelry store that is accusing her of stealing a necklace, according to Radar Online. Upon hearing the news of her new legal woes, she turned to a personal adviser and claimed she’d never set foot in the location when there is video footage of her perusing the store’s wares.

Police have obtained a search warrant for Lohan’s LA home, which really freaked her out, apparently.

One source says, “People in Lindsay’s inner circle say she lies all of the time. Some people believe one of the reasons she does is because Lindsay is trying to be a people pleaser.”

Looks like we got a pathological liar on our hands!

Charlie Sheen is taking his rehabilitation seriously, which unfortunately means no more fun with porn stars. This was probably the hardest thing Charlie has ever done in his life.

TMZ reports that Charlie sent text messages to several porn stars that he won’t be associating with them anymore.

Among the messages Charlie has sent — “Please lose the number, we are closed … please drive through … thank you.”

Another text reads, “Right now we are on lockdown.”

Charlie apparently wants to get back to work by the end of the month. Nevertheless, saying goodbye to all those porn stars….poor Charlie! I mean, can’t he keep in contact with just one?

Radar Online is confirming what we already assumed about Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen – most of his $2 million-per-episode paycheck goes to hookers and coke!

Sheen has reportedly spent more than HALF A MILLION dollars on “special friends” and “magic powder” over the past six months. He was notorious for having an “endless supply of eight-balls,” slang for an ounce of cocaine and widely proven to be just the right amount to overdose on.

According to sources, Sheen would spend his nights smoking cocaine with at least two ladies by his side. The habit cost him tens of thousands of dollars a night, but there was no way to stop him as he spiraled out of control.

“He would pay [his escorts] $5,000 to $10,000 for the night and would give them cash, check, or money transfer…he even bought two girls cars,” said a close friend.

Sheen checked into rehab this weekend following a slightly crazier than usual 36-hour cocaine bender.

Yikes! Maybe newly appointed saint Lindsay Lohan can offer some sound sober advice?

Forgive us but we were hardly shocked to learn that Aaron Carter is entering rehab for “addiction problems.” Its unknown what exactly the addiction is, however we know that Carter was arrested for marijuana possession recently and was on Celebrity Rehab.

E! Online quotes a source who said that Carter’s move to the rehab center was not a based on a court-mandated order but his own choice to finally get help.

“He was struggling recently and needed this,” the source said.

So why weren’t we surprised that Carter is hooked on something? We interviewed him at the MuchMusic Video Awards in 2009 and the guy was incoherent. Can anybody decipher what he is saying here? Anyways, Aaron we wish you the best of luck!

A.J. McLean’s substance abuse issues have been so out of control that crew members of the Backstreet Boys tour threatened to quit over his behavior.

TMZ reports that staff on the tour made it clear that if A.J. didn’t seek treatment that they would quit. Apparently his actions have become so out of control that on a recent Backstreet Boys fan cruise, several passengers lodged complaints and some even demanded refunds.

According to the TMZ story, A.J. and his entourage acted like “drunken fools” for the five day trip.

But that’s not the only problem. A.J.’s behavior on a day to day basis has become increasingly difficult. During rehearsals even more people have threatened to quit because of A.J.

Nevertheless McLean is back in rehab and hopefully the BSB train can continue.

AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys (the one who was usually singing) is in rehab due to substance abuse. As reported by TMZ.com, the singer has been “out of control” in the last few months.

Washup teen bands, The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block were apparently supposed to team up for a tour, but McLean’s drug addiction has put a hold on the plans.

McLean has been dealing with drug problems for many years. In 2001 and 2002 he was in rehab for cocaine and alcohol abuse. The musician is beginning another sober journey. Hopefully this time he will reach enlightenment. Often times these celebrities who receive early success find trouble maintaining their lives without drugs and alcohol. It’s a deadly cycle we have seen regularly.

Perhaps McLean can seek guidance from recently released from rehab Lindsay Lohan.

We reported yesterday that Lindsay Lohan may be trying to rekindle the flame with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, but now it’s beginning to look like she’s got her fingers in more than one pie!

Lindsay has been spending a lot of time with “Inception” star Tom Hardy recently, especially after her stint in rehab. Tom is supposedly teaching her about sober living after rehab in a world full of temptations and triggers.

Lindsay has been “seriously listening” to the stories of Tom’s former addiction and trying to learn from them, according to Perez Hilton. And there’s no better person to get rehab advice from than a man who’s been successfully sober for eight years!
