A little boy’s P-51 Mustang model airplane got stuck high up in a tree — to be forgotten forever — but luckily, some kind samaritans who happened to be flying a helicopter nearby fished it out with a Robinson R-22. Not only did the gesture fulfill their good deed of the day, I bet they also inspired that kid to be a helicopter pilot one day.
Faith in humanity restored.

Have you ever wondered where dubstep originated? Some people (Wikipedia, sigh) say dubstep the electronic dance music back in the late 90s, in South London. But according to Norway’s comedy group KollektivetTV2 dubstep had a far different birth. And it’s madness, pure madness!

Naive Justin Bieber fans could have been down a head of hair after anonymous 4Chan trolls posted a fake screenshot of a tweet by Entertainment Tonight that Justin Bieber was diagnosed with leukaemia. Tweets from celebrities seemed to confirm the news:

The thing is, Bieber was never diagnosed with cancer (thankfully) and Entertainment Tonight NEVER posted that tweet. Following the “news,” so-called Beliebers began posting photos and videos of themselves with their heads shaved with the hashtag #BaldForBieber. Turns out, most of them were just posers in on the prank.
It’s a despicable prank to direct at teen girls and if you had to have a license to be on the Internet I’d say REVOKE THAT SH*T. Making people believe that someone — anyone — has cancer, is not funny.
These days, you never know what that 4Chan bunch will do. They’ve messed with Taylor Swift and Mountain Dew, among others. Someone who was in on the joke stepped at the beginning, with a firsthand account:
This is actually not true at all. I was there when we started this shit. Somebody made a few twitter accounts, we edited Wikipedia, we spammed chat rooms, and we even posted here on Reddit (but it was deleted for lack of evidence). Somebody made a few fake news posts too which were convincing but without a link it wasn’t enough. The girls you are seeing are actually sisters/girlfriends of a few /b/tards that did this to try and convince other girls to do it. I’m trying to find one of the YouTube videos of some dude’s sister fake crying but I can’t seem to find it at the moment. [Gawker]
Yikes!! The pranksters even set up a fake website with one of the videos below. Be careful what you read online everyone, it’s a wild, wild world out there.

What you need to know about this slow loris: Her name is Kinako and she was domestically breeded at a Japanese pet shop. She also LOVES rice balls.
Fact: If you stare at her for too long, you’ll probably grab the closest thing to you and start hugging it. She looks like she can literally see into the depths of your soul.

Tom Hanks accidentally dropped the F-bomb on Good Morning America today during an interview and host Elizabeth Vargas treated it like he slandered Justin Bieber or something. Hanks was putting on an accent when the blasphemous word came out and Vargas held onto her seat like she was going to fall off.
Do they really think all the little children in America will regurgitate their morning cereal and turn into Dallas Winston while their parents fan themselves and say “I do proclaim, how will life go on!?”
The censorship police Parents Television Council have already drafted an angry response: “Once again, a morning news show has allowed the harshest profanity to be broadcast into every living room and breakfast table in the country,” said the director of public policy Dan Isett.
Calm the f*ck down people. I’m sure he’ll remember to use the accepted swear words “drats,” “curses” and “the word that must not be named” next time.

I pretty much write about viral videos everyday so I’ve seen most of them in this compilation of WTF moments, but seeing them one after the other will probably destroy your spleen because you’ll be laughing so hard.
What are WTF moments you ask? They’re those moments when only one phrase comes to mind. The compilation includes a clip of random naked people humping a bridge (for real) and the most ridiculous sound you’ll hear coming from a goat.
Mission of the day: Get Justin Bieber to visit a fan named Hailey Roser. The four-year-old was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and all she asks is to meet her favourite singer. To help her out, students and teachers from Holmen High School filmed a touching music video message to the singer, inviting him to visit her in Wisconsin.
The students share their message by holding up inspiring signs for Hailey in different parts of the school such as “be a Fighter” and “you are beautiful.” Hailey also makes a cameo in the end, with her swag Justin Bieber T-shirt, telling the popstar that she loves him and wants to meet him.
We have to make this happen people!!
This tone deaf singer named Gnesa’s single “Wilder” is probably a joke, but my ears don’t think it’s funny. In fact, they entered into a state of shock after the fourth out of tune “lalala.” She posted her music video on her YouTube channel gnesamusic, which thankfully has no other “songs.”
While I’m impressed with the positivity of the commenters, who are saying things like “A voice of over 9000 angels!” and “I like the part where she goes “la la la la laaa la la laa la laaa,” I’m worried it will encourage her to put out another tune. Stop Internet! Stop her while you can.
This dude looked like he was having a very spiritual experience riding The Slingshot at an amusement park, until I realized he actually FAINTED (probably from the annoying WTF cries of his girlfriend). When he woke up on the ride, he didn’t realize where he was and FLIPPED OUT yelling “What the f*ck” over and over again. Yes, it must have been a confusing experience but at least he didn’t have to sit through the “I HATE YOU” screams of his neighbour.
On Sunday, Oct. 14 Austria’s Felix Baumgartner became the only human being to break the sound barrier outside of an airplane, after skydiving from 38 km above the earth. (Aka OMFG.) If you missed the Red Bull Energy Drink-sponsored event then fear not, you can ALMOST feel like you were there through this very realistic re-enactment of the jump through LEGO figures.
Just when you thought you couldn’t make a skydive from space any more spectacular, we’re proven wrong. The video was put together for the Model Maker Fair in Vienna, which runs from Oct. 25-28.
While Baumgartner achieved the highest skydive leap (128,097 ft), the fastest freefall (834mph) AND broke the sound barrier, we’re pretty stoked for this LEGO man. Though not AS IMPRESSED if we’re going to be honest because the plastic figure did not boldly land on his two feet.
Anyone who knows anything about pop culture should recognize Justin Long as the Mac guy in the Mac vs. PC commercials.
So when he was spotted at the University of Central Florida over the weekend, a Reddit user who goes by the alias Wingdom just so happened to be wearing a VERY, VERY suitable T shirt. So opting for a photo, Justin Long has unofficially been put on our list of “Very Cool Celebs” for making this guy’s day.

Worst father of the year award goes to this dad who decided to put his young child in the goalie net and kick the soccer ball as hard as he could at the kid’s face. Of course, it was all unintentional but the injury was definitely bleeder-status. If the kid was really smart he could brush it off and coolly ask: “Did you see that awesome save? I didn’t even need to block it with my hands, I’m sooo good.”
I find this so-called “Covers Game” enchanting, because if I tried to play it with my cat before bed every night sh*t would go down differently.
See, when this girl puts her covers up and blocks her face the cat named Pigs leaps forward in a playful way. She laughs and smiles and Rod Stewart starts playing and they’re just two peas in a pod. If I tried to play this with my cat Farley, he’d vengefully bound forward and I’d start laughing until I saw his fangs were out and realized he was actually trying to kill me.
Nonetheless, this game is still ADORBZ even if I can never attempt a similar bedtime routine without getting major cut eye and minor injuries.

She can sing, she can act…and now she can play with cups too?!
Proving everyone that she’s just a regular dork like one of us, Anna Kendrick stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman to promote her new film Pitch Perfect. During the interview, she even managed to show off some of her secret talents!
A regular Reddit user, the actress called herself ”a loser” and admitted that she spent the whole afternoon watching a viral video to learn how to play with cups while singing. And let me say, she nails it!
Dear Anna, don’t ever change. In fact, I think we should be BFFs.
