An upsetting video has gone viral on Reddit, where a supervisor is caught yelling and slapping a co-worker for minor mistakes.
Bullying is never an acceptable thing to do and the poor man taking the abuse has probably been through a lot to have to stay working at this job.
What makes this okay to do?? Like EVER?!?!
If you’re an emotional person, you better get some tissues ready.
At the request of his grandfather, Redditor stevieboy1984 turned to the internet community to see if anyone could clean up a scanned image of his grandfather’s photo from World War II during his service in the Navy.
Proving that the world can be a nice place, several Redditors offered their photoshop skills to help restore the photo. At the end of it all, stevieboy1984 received six variations of the photo before handing his grandfather a framed version of top commenter unhi’s submission.
It’s these little things that restore my faith in humanity. The Reddit community is awesome!
I’ve never understood the whole reading in the bathtub thing. While bubble baths are nice and all, I always worry about dropping my book or magazine in the water, forever ruining them. But Redditor crash-from-space‘s daughter had the most ingenious idea: attach your book to a dog leash. While this doesn’t prevent you from ruining your book with wet hands, at least you’ll only have water-logged corners as opposed to a completely soaked book.
There shall be no more excuses!
With this video proving that it takes only three seconds, replacing an empty toilet paper roll SHOULD NOT BE THAT HARD.

Every social media platform has their own set of unspoken rules. Asides from proper social media etiquette, there’s also an unspoken understanding of things we fear the most while we enjoy our favourite website. Lost followers? Cries. They aren’t real? Dammit, Justin Bieber must know my pain (more than half of his followers aren’t real).
Here are just some of the things we fear while we scroll through our favourite sites:
1. Tumblr: looking at porn while scrolling through your dashboard
Scrolling through your dashboard in public is like the digital Russian Roulette because there’s always that one person you follow who likes to randomly reblog porn. Not only do you feel like a perv because it appears right between gif sets of cute cats and Benedict Cumberbatch, but also because you know everyone around you can see your screen.
2. Facebook: Accused of Stalking
Secretsupernatural on Tumblr is on to something. She just had to wonder what happens when you googled Nicholas Cage and Tumblr. For a reference, here’s what you get when you simple Google Nicolas Cage:
And here’s what she got when she googled Nicolas Cage + Tumblr:

Best thing ever, right?
Well, as the inquiring journalists that we are, we just had to see what comes up when you google Nicolas Cage and any other website. Here’s what we found.
1. Nicolas Cage and Facebook
2. Nicolas Cage and Instagram
Hours after a meteor struck Russia, Redditors and Tumblr users have already started making the obligatory Russian Meteor memes. The meteor shattered about 30-50 kilometers above the ground and injured more than 1100 people.
Do you think the memes are too soon? Here are some of the ones trending online right now. [Daily Dot]

Whatever you do, don’t try this prank in the US or you’ll probably get some overworked mall cop tackling you to the ground before an actual cop or Homeland Security apparates with a taser. The prankster put disguising nude tights over his head to mask his face — usually a dead giveaway for a robber — and went into various shops to try and buy things. While the joke, posted on Woods Bog, was all in good fun, it definitely freaked some employees and shoppers out.
When he’s questioned about why he’s wearing the mask, he just says “it’s cold” or “it’s just what I wear.” The hilarious clip is from a show called The Chaser in Australia.
Leave it to online bloggers to ask the hard hitting questions. Journalists from Buzzfeed, Reddit, Huffington Post and Gawker go to a Washington press conference in this hilarious parody by blandhackpictures. They can ask the president’s PR person anything they want about international and domestic issues but settle on Zooey Deschanel, cute animal videos and Bronies.
Straight from the internet’s wildlife desk comes this BBC video of the best “oh SHIT” moment caught on camera. This clumsy leopard was hunting its prey in Africa but just wasn’t fast enough — probably thinking of the many things it had to do later. Meanwhile, an oblivious furry munchkin is noshing on his meal when he realizes how close he was to chaos. Even though they’re not the same animal, that’s a stereotype of Ice Age’s scrat if I’ve seen one.
The closest I got to playing with a baby fox when I was a kid was when a squirrel I fondly named Clarke kept coming up to our back door and asking for peanuts. Unfortunately, one time Clark was a little too precocious and jumped on my foot in an attempt to come inside with me. I had to shake him off and said a silent thank you that I was coincidentally wearing thick UGG boots.
Meanwhile, this little girl got to play with a baby fox in the desert like it was no biggie. I’d add it to my bucket list but knowing my luck, I’d most definitely be attacked.

This toddler named Ali was clearly trying to climb up the ledge to her family’s flatscreen television so she could portal through the screen and meet her favourite animated characters. When the harsh reality of her television’s tangibility set in and she started to climb back down the ledge, she realized her legs were just a little too short to make the journey.
Her father tried to talk her through the predicament, assuring her she could make the couple inches. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again a couple hours later. ADORBZ.

You know that feeling you have when you try something OVER AND OVER and you just keep failing? Well, all those kids books and inspirational quotes that remind you to try and try again are totally right.
This gymnast was attempting a challenging lineup of backflips but it wasn’t working out for him. After a ton of attempts and a few wipeouts, he finally landed the routine he was going for. It’s a good lesson in dedication for all those discouraged by a project they’re passionate about.
Snoop Lion did an Ask Me Anything (AMA) with Reddit the other day and among tales of changing his name to Snoop Lion and working in movies, he answered a hella lot of questions about smoking pot. Like A LOT of questions about it. One of the most upvoted questions he got was: What’s the most amount of days you’ve gone without smoking? The answer was 164.
After the AMA Snoop seemed to be feeling super reflective because he filmed a question for the world: “The better question is, when was it when you first started smoking? And how long was your life before I take my first pull? That’s the question I pose to you, Reddit.”
What say you Internet?

The world has fallen in love with Tardar Sauce the grumpy cat (you might know him as Tard), but according to The Soup’s Joel McHale (who actually speaks cat fluently) Tard has a message for the Redditors who made him famous: “I’m not pretty happy, my name is Tardar Sauce. Would yo be happy if you were named after a dipping sauce for fish or named after any sauce for that matter? My life is a joke. F*ck you Reddit.”
So there you go Reddit, straight from the cat. Is Tard’s angry stare the result of adorable bone structure or a deeper existential crisis?
