Usually recut trailers grasp at any small moments in the film that just MIGHT turn it into a different genre, but it never really works out. That’s how I thought this Mrs. Doubtfire trailer would be but it’s way better than I thought it would be.
In this version of the movie, Daniel Hillard is so distraught after losing custody of his children he evolves into another personality: Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire. And she is not a pleasant person.
I never realized how many moments in the movie could be perceived as creepy if rearranged in a different order with suspenseful music in the background. I will never look at the movie the same way again.
