Rascal Flatts Beats Out Miley Cyrus On The Albums Chart
Miley Cyrus may have a No.1 movie at the box office, but she doesn’t have a No. 1 album. Country trio Rascal Flatts took the top album spot with their latest “Unstoppable,” selling 351,000 copies. Meanwhile, the “Hannah Montana soundtrack” sold 196,000 copies, per Nielsen SoundScan numbers.
Still, it looks like Cyrus benefited from the “Hannah Motana: The Movie” release because the film’s soundtrack sold 57,000 more discs then it did during the CD’s debut.
Also, Cyrus’ on-screen and off-screen father Billy Ray Cyrus reached the No. 41 spot with his latest album “Back to Tennessee.”
