It’s heartbreaking when you lose your car, so we feel a great deal of sympathy for Snoop Dogg today. His Yellow 1967 Pontiac was impounded by the LAPD last night, reports TMZ.

So what was Snoop doing to get his car impounded? Well nothing really. It turns out one of his buddies was driving the car around 8pm yesterday without headlights. When cops pulled over the Pontiac and did a background check of the driver, it turns out he had a suspended license.

It will apparently cost Snoop at least $261 to get his whip back. That’s a crappy Christmas day present.
