Pete Doherty Arrested Yet Again

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been arrested again for seven counts of drug possession.

Doherty, 27, was stopped by London police on suspicion of drug possession. The seven counts include: four counts of possessing Class A drugs cocaine and heroin, a count of possessing cocaine, and two counts of possessing Class C drug cannabis, reports the Daily Mail.

After spending the night in police custody, Doherty is set to appear before Thames Magistrates’ Court, in Bow, east London.

The current charges are related to the charges that occurred in April of this year. Doherty was investigated because of pictures that showed him injecting a drug in a fan’s arm but that was dismissed because he claimed he was taking out blood for his artwork and she agreed with that story. Nonetheless, police searched his East London home and were able to find illegal drugs. He was arrested and later released on bail.

Doherty has been known for his battle with heroin and his relationship with supermodel Kate Moss, 34.

The pair broke up in September when Moss decided to leave him after her cocaine scandal. Pictures were published everywhere of Moss in a nightclub appearing to snort the illegal drug while in the company of Doherty. She didn’t end up going to jail but lost many projects that she was committed to and entered rehab for 30 days.

After the break-up and more drug sandals, Doherty entered a Portuguese rehab clinic in order to clean up his image and get Moss back. They have been seen around town together this past week. Pictures taken of them on their outings have shown Moss wearing a ring on her wedding finger starting up rumours that they are engaged.

Pete Doherty Busted for Drug Possession

British rocker Pete Doherty, Kate Moss?s former flame, has been arrested for drug possession.

The Babyshambles front man, who has been blamed for getting Moss hooked on cocaine, was busted Wednesday night in London after being pulled over by police for driving in an ?erratic manner.?

British news sources have reported that rock cocaine and a crack pipe were found in Doherty?s vehicle.

If convicted, he could face seven years in jail and a large fine.

This is not the first time Doherty has gotten in trouble with the law for drug possession. On Oct. 1, police raided a Babyshambles gig in Shrewsbury, England, where they found Ecstacy, LSD, cocaine and heroine. Doherty was incarcerated for 12 hours.

The singer recently split from Moss after he failed to complete a drug rehabilitation program at the Meadows Clinic in Arizona, where the supermodel finished a five-week stint earlier this year.

Moss, who still faces drug charges of her own, has been modelling steadily since leaving the clinic.
