Ashlee Simpson was seen instigating a fight with her husband, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Saturday, reports Perez Hilton. Wentz was celebrating the one year anniversary of his bar, Angels & Kings, following a performance by his band at the Blink 182 concert in his hometown of Chicago.
Eye-witnesses say an extremely drunk Simpson went up to her husband in the bar’s DJ booth and yelled at him to leave. “They fought,” reported a witness, ”she told him he was horrible in front of a whole group of people and made him leave his own party early. So they make a scene and leave the bar.”
Last week gossip sites were filled with rumors that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s marriage was “on the rocks” due to the bassist’s busy schedule.
However on Friday, Wentz and Simpson happily kissed onstage at the Australian Video Music Awards. “Sorry, we haven’t seen each other in a while,” Simpson told the audience. “We’re going to find a quiet place to fornicate.”
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is returning to series television with a lead role on “Melrose Place,” the CW’s update of the popular ’90s primetime soap.
The singer-actress, who landed her breakthrough role on “7th Heaven” in 2002, will play Melrose Place’s newest resident, Violet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the character is a small-town girl with a manipulative side – and a big secret.
After welcoming Bronx Mowgli, a baby boy, bassist Pete Wentz is taking a “breather”.
“Obviously, elephant in the room, Pete just had a kid, so we’ve been taking a bit of a breather — more so than we normally would. I think an FOB breather is still a lot busier than anybody else’s,” frontman Patrick Stump told MTV News, “We’ve done some surprise shows, because — we’ve all talked about it — whenever you promise kids an album, and then you push it back, whatever reason, however idealistic, you still feel like you’re letting them down a bit.
FOB’s “Folie à Deux” album has been pushed back to December 16, 2008.
“So we’ve gone out and done some surprise shows in really small clubs.” Stump continues to MTV News, “And it’s been pretty cool, because we haven’t been playing a lot of the new material, so we’re getting that out there before we start performing the new stuff. That’s kind of been our main thing right now, you know? Obviously, it’s more important than anything happening at home.”

Simpson-Wentz, 24, gave birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday, reportedly at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is Los Angeles.
Simpson-Wentz is the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, famous for her lip-syncing slip-up on Saturday Night Live in 2004. Wentz is the bass player for Fall Out Boy. They married May 17 this year in L.A., and later revealed that Simpson-Wentz was expecting at the time of their nuptials.
Christina Aguilera, “Dirty” diva and recent mom, has been hired by Donald Trump to perform at a party for the opening of his new hotel in Dubai, Trump International Hotel & Tower.
Aguilera will perform for the Donald at a private estate in Los Angeles. Pete Wentz, soon-to-be-dad, is also set to DJ for the night.
This will mark the second time Aguilera has performed since giving birth to her son, Max, in January. Most recently, Aguilera has been in the studio working on a new album and shot a P.S.A. with her newborn son for the Rock the Vote campaign.

Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have created a gift register at exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor. According to a source, the couple purchased an over abundance of blue things.
“They made it very clear that it was a boy,” said the source.
The couple reportedly purchased a selection of T-shirts and bibs from the Plain Mary collection with the words, “Hunk”, “Loved” and “Yummy” inscribed on the front.
Mr. Wentz recently revealed that he is eager to find out the sex of his baby. “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz displayed her pregnancy figure in a fitted black dress at the opening of husband Pete Wentz’s bar “Angels & Kings” in Chicago, reports E! News.
After posing for photos outside the bar, Wentz commented on his wife’s pregnancy and said he is doing his best to cater to her needs:
“Oh yeah, I do the whole nine [yards], anything to keep her comfortable – massages, the works.”
Inside, Simpson-Wentz surprised her husband, who was also celebrating his 29th birthday, with a slideshow.
“I thought you said you wouldn’t do anything embarrassing!” he said to her.
Afterward, Wentz was presented with a giant cake in the shape of a bulldog who represented the couple’s beloved Hemingway, the ring bearer at their wedding.
Pete Wentz released a statement Thursday explaining why he and Ashley lied about being pregnant.
In an email to MTV.com Wentz said,
“We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple.”
“This wasn’t about press or anything. It was about the health of the baby and trying to find a way to be happy with what should be the most happy time of our lives in the middle of a press blitz. I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend.”
