Perez Hilton recently blogged that Dustin Diamond (better known as Samuel “Screech” Powers on the 90’s TV sitcom hit “Saved By the Bell”) has less juice to squeeze out than a marshmallow. Hilton feels Diamond’s tell-all book entitled, “Behind the Bell” is less of a get-up and more of a let-down.
According to recent releases from the book, Diamond claims he could smell a “certain smoke” coming from the other cast members’ dressing rooms. He also claims that Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played every pre-teen girl’s crush Zack Morris, used steroids before filming “Saved By the Bell: The College Years.”
For the upcoming “Perez Hilton Presents” Tour, Ticketmaster is doing something groundbreaking – they’re actually charging customers the price advertised on their tickets. Those purchasing tickets for the North American tour will not pay any hidden convenience or service charges. Even taxes will be included in the price, although customers choosing mail or UPS delivery for their tickets will have to pay an additional shipping cost.
The tour – the first put on by the celebrity blogger – will feature Ida Maria, Ladyhawke, FrankMusik, Julian Perretta, Eric Huchinson, Semi Precious Weapons and Sliimy.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has announced he is putting together a North American tour for September and October. On his web site, Hilton says he has “handpicked the hottest acts on the planet” for the upcoming tour, sponsored by Neuro.
Tickets for “Perez Hilton Presents…” go on sale this weekend, with presale starting Thursday. The all-star line-up will be announced along with dates and cities at a later date.
After an alleged altercation involving celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Will.I.Am and his manager, Hilton has released Twitter responses, written statements and a video regarding what happened. And according to a report from “Access Hollywood,” Hilton plans on suing those involved in the incident.
“All persons responsible for this cowardly act of physical violence will be sued and held legally responsible for their actions,” said Hilton’s attorney, Bryan J. Freedman, in a statement. “His First Amendment rights will not be infringed upon through fear, intimidation or violence.”
The blogger was said to suffer a cut below his eye during an altercation between him and Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio “Polo” Molina.
Hilton’s lawyer stated they “are conducting a legal investigation as to whether Will.I.Am encouraged and/or instructed Molina to engage in this physical assault.”
Toronto Police have charged the BEP manager with assault and the 36-year-old must return the city’s Old City Hall Courthouse on August 5 to answer to the charge.

Sunday night’s Miss USA competition has everyone talking, including celebrities like Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus.
During the beauty pageant, blogger Perez Hilton asked Miss California (Carrie Prejean) if more states should legalize same-sex marriage, to which she responded that marriage “should be between a man and a woman.”
Many celebrities are reacting to Prejean’s statement and have taken to Twitter to state their opinions. “Love is Love! People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!” read a Tweet by Britney Spears to Perez Hilton.
According to PerezHilton.com, former “Spice Girls” member Mel B is a pathological liar.
Last week, Scary Spice told reporters that she’s been offered a role in the Broadway production “Legally Blonde” but a source close to the musical tells gossip columnist Perez Hilton otherwise:
“She has NEVER been approached by anyone associated with the production to join.”
Mel B’s publicist, however, says there has been a “misunderstanding.”
“She has in fact been offered the part of Paulette in the London West End production. The offer has been extended by James Hopson of Pippa Ailion Casting. James (on behalf of the producers) has pursued her over the past 2 months to the degree that they are now flying Melanie out to NY to see the Broadway production this weekend. I can assure you it’s an expensive trip as it involves Melanie and her family, so they are deadly serious about this,” says her rep.
Just last week, Perez was the first to break news on his site that Mel B was also lying about going on tour with Janet Jackson in the fall.
Canada.com reports that the famous blogger was served with a cease and desist order by Splash News on Tuesday while he was in a café writing his column.
Splash News claims Hilton has used its photos, including ones of Britney Spears holding her newest baby boy, Jayden James in Louisiana, without permission.
Hilton has also been approached by other agencies such as FilmMagic and X-17, telling the blogger to remove the unauthorized photos on his site.
“Sites like Perez Hilton are a whole new concern in the industry. Copyright should be enforced and respected,” said a spokesperson at LDP Images in Toronto about the cases. LDP Images is considering its options regarding if it will pursue action against Hilton as well.
