Paula Ann Meronek, a cast member on MTV’s Real World: Key West known for her battles with anorexia, has been arrested. She allegedly bit her boyfriend during a domestic skirmish.

The 25-year-old was arrested outside her Conneticut home in the early morning hours on Sunday, reports E! Online. Police say that Meronek bit John Alyward, her 24-year-old boyfriend, at least five times on his legs and arms.

Alyward was apparently refusing to allow Meronek to reenter their shared house after they fought earlier in the evening. He was also arrested for blocking Meronek from entering her legal residence.

Meronek was released on bond, arraigned on the charges on Monday morning, and is now due back in court on August 11. She could face up to a year in prison if convicted.
