From a Friendly Goth to the infomercial host Fibre Man, Canadian comedian Paul Telner has soared to becoming one of the most popular Canadian comedians online.

Paul also stars in hidden camera pranks under the brand name of Apauled, which first aired on U.S. cable network G4 TV. Each episode monthly has Paul failing at different jobs out in front of the unsuspecting public.

Another element of the Paul Telner experience is the behind-the-scenes of Paul’s world as he and his crew pulls pranks on the public, and each other.

New MuchMusic Show Pranks Canadians


Everyday Canadians get pranked as hidden cameras roll in a new show debuting on MuchMusic Monday.

“The Paul Telner Project” promises to push the boundaries of ordinary people by mixing a “goofy and wacky style with edgy concepts” for comedic results.

“Paul interacts with unsuspecting people through a variety of original characters to create fresh and lively takes on traditional pranks,” the promotional statement continues.

Telner has already made a name for himself as a popular comedy personality on the Internet. His YouTube channels have over 30,000 subscribers and 6+ million views, with YouTube.com/PaulTelner ranking as the 8th most subscribed Canadian comedy channel.
