Paramore has just released the music video for “Still Into You,” and it’s just as amazing as their previous hits.
For a song thats about someone still being into their ex, this music video is very pink and peppy. Don’t get me wrong, peppy music videos are always more enjoyable to watch than angst filled music videos about heartbreak. Someone needs to tell Hayley Williams to stop being so perfect, and to leave some for the rest of us.
The lead singer tweeted about the single and it’s position on iTunes charts.
Dear @jtimberlake I’m sorry our album had to bump you down to #2 for a bit. You are still #1 in my heart. Thx for sharing the top spot. YAY!

I woke up and thought it was all going to be a dream but we have the #1 album on @itunesmusic in a ton of countries & I am fully awake!!

“Still Into You” is the second single from their self-titled album.
And it’s amazing! After Hayley Williams openly admitted she had been suffering from writer’s block, a lot of people were left wondering whether or not Paramore’s new music would be as good as it has been in the past. No need to worry folks! The group’s newest track is great, and is will make a welcome addition to the existing Paramore on your iPod.
One listen to the extremely catchy tune will have you bobbing your head and tapping your feet, and by the end you’ll be up and out of your seat in a full blown, rock-out dance party. I love it, and I’m really glad to see they’re doing fine after the departure of Josh and Zac Farro.
“I Couldn’t Be Your Friend” – Tegan and Sara
Tegan and Sara’s upcoming album Heartthrob is filled with upbeat tearjerkers like this one…trust the duo to come up with the saddest lyrics set to dance-pop music. “I Couldn’t Be Your Friend,” is about the aftermath of a broken relationship when it’s impossible to be ‘just friends’. But instead of a slow ballad like you would expect, the song swells with power pop beats and cheerful chords. Heartthrob hits stored Jan. 29.
“One Way Trigger” – The Strokes
The Strokes’ new track is probably the most surprising song I’ve heard so far this year and sounds nothing like any Strokes song out there. Pretty much, the track sounds like it’s been thrown into a video game, the guitars have been traded in for synthpop, and lead singer Julian Casablancas tries his hand at falsetto singing. It’s different, but I still give the guys kudos for trying something new.
The young and edgy rock band ended last year on a sour note when two members, brothers Josh and Zac Farro left the band. Now, after a lot of recuperating, the band’s ready to release new material for fans, ending the year on a high note.
In October, they unveiled their new song “Renegade” and now, “Hello Cold World” is finally revealed. It’s a high-energy pop-rock song about standing up for what you believe in.
The band, led by the spunky front woman Hayley Williams, told fans: “We really wanted to do something special for all of you … to thank you for making 2011 so amazing and sticking with us as we go into 2012 and start working on a new album.”
If you’re impatiently waiting for your fave band to put our their fourth album, I guess these three songs will have to do for now. Listen to the complete song posted below.
Hayley Williams of Paramore has revealed the band has written four more songs for the next record.
“We have written four new songs and they are quite diverse,” Williams said. “There are some heavier songs, but there’s also one that we plan to play live soon that is called ‘In The Morning Mess.’” She added, “I can’t really say that ‘Monster’ is an indication of what to expect on the next Paramore album. We, as a band, will always try to evolve and try new things. It will be different for sure, but it will still keep Paramore’s essence.”
Paramore is getting ready to release the music video for Monster, and the band is getting ready with a trailer for the big event. This is the first release for the band as a trio, and the trailer sees Hayley Williams and Jeremy Davis floating on water.
Monster was recorded for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack. The tune is already a hit with achieving over 1,000,000 views on YouTube.
Rock music has a stereotype of traditionally being a guy thing. However today there are some awesome rock bands that are lead by female singers, Paramore is an example, and so is VersaEmerge. VersaEmerge is lead by Sierra Kusterbeck, and we spoke to her and band member Blake about having a female lead singer, and how they are taking over the rock world.
Hayley Williams is the most recent celebrity victim of having their Twitter account hacked.
MTV reports the twitpic shows a topless Hayley Williams staring into the camera, which was available to her 600,000 followers. The photo was removed shortly thereafter.
Williams later commented, “Well … my night just changed drastically. Got hacked.”
Paramore’s Hayley Williams let fans into the wedding of band mate Josh Farro over the weekend. Hayley provided some amazing pics and blogged about the experience.
In the pics guess who you see? Taylor Swift! Swift who is also a friend of the band was able to attend.
You can see all the pics here!

Gwen Stefani and her No Doubt band-mates are planning a summer tour with Paramore.
“The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and to get inspired to make new music,” Stefani said on the band’s website. “It feels good to be all together again.”
The excitement is mutual, “What a dream tour! We couldn’t be more excited to kick off 2009 by touring with a band like No Doubt,” said a statement by Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams, released on No Doubt’s website.
Joining the band as a third act are Janelle Monae, The Sounds and Bedouin Soundclash, who will share the slot according to the band’s website.
The tour will start in May, although exact dates have not been announced. No Doubt will also join Fall Out Boy in May for New Jersey’s Bamboozle Festival.
Paramore’s lead singer Haley Williams is not pregnant and she’s not the reason for the band’s breakup, in fact the group is still very much together.
Williams got her first taste of the out-of-control Hollywood rumour mill just one day after she posted an entry explaining why the band was pulling out of scheduled European shows. The post was pretty vague and tongues started wagging that Paramore was no more.
“Since we posted the last entry, we’ve gotten tons of phone calls and people posting things on Web sites saying that we are breaking up. I just want to make it clear, though … we weren’t saying the band was over,” Williams wrote in a new entry to clear up the pesky rumous.
“We posted because we are going through hard times and we felt that because we have a really good support system in you guys, our fans, it would be better for us to just be honest about what’s going on -even though it was a pretty vague explanation.”
That explanation led to gossip blogs and fans speculated what the “internal issues” Williams mentioned in the post were alluding to. One particularly popular rumour was that the red-haired singer was breaking up the band because she was pregnant, MTV News reports.
“Man, some of the rumors that I’ve heard going around are insane! It’s weird how out of hand things can get even when you just try to tell a simple truth (for the record, my Eggo is not preggo),” Williams wrote.
“Anyway, we just need to take time to make this band the best it can be … and we are doing that now.”
Veteran band Jimmy Eat World and newer upstarts Paramore are teaming up for a run of shows across the U.S. this spring.
The tour, announced Friday, will kick off in March, with dates expected to be announced shortly.
Paramore expressed their excitement to be paired up with their long-time idols.
“If it all ends tomorrow, we will be happy knowing that we got a tour with the band that gave us a reason to play music,” Paramore singer Hayley Williams said in a statement.
Jimmy Eat World also had words of praise for their touring partners. “We got to know them last December while playing festivals together,” said singer Jim Adkins. “They put on a great show and we think it’s going to be an awesome bill.”
Paramore, who are in the middle of their European tour, are up for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about Paramore, then you better get used to them; they’re here to stay.
The most talked about band on the summer’s Warped Tour, Paramore is a pop-punk band from Tennessee. Their latest album, Riot!, was released in June.
andPOP sat down with the band on their tour bus before a recent show in Toronto to talk about life on the road, surviving Warped and the album.
