If Internet bloggers were to have an official uniform I’m pretty sure it would partially consist of these leggings, which are printed with adorable fluffy kittens and flowers. I should know, as I obsess over and share muchos cat videos on this very website. After work, it’s not uncommon for me to further obsess over kittens in baskets and existential cats on Pinterest.
The leggings are by a brand called Pretty Snake, who funded their project by raising $5000 on Kickstarter.com. The “Kitten Garden Party Leggings” are basically the internet in a pant and they also offer similar products like the “kookoo kitty print” and the “mutant kitty print.”
I love the proposal for the leggings, which naturally includes a cameo from an apathetic, white kitten who’s clearly trying to channel Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette (a notable socialite in the feline community).
In the meantime I’m going to lobby andPOP to enforce these cat leggings as our official uniform. Kitten leggings during the cooler days and superhero shorts in the summer. Ah yeah.
Watch it here:
Southwest Airlines has major egg on their face after booting Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day off one of their planes for “sagging” pants.
On Thursday Billie was traveling from Oakland to Burbank. While waiting to put a bag in the overhead compartment, a stewartess asked him to pull up his sagging pants.
“Don’t you have better things to do than worry about that?” Armstrong said. The flight attendant then repeated the request, according to an ABC affiliate producer who was on the flight.
Armstrong replied, “I’m just trying to get to my f—ing seat.”
Armstrong tweeted, “Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the f—? No joke!”
Southwest later released a fuller statement:
“As soon as we became aware of what had happened, we reached out to apologize for this Customer’s experience. He elected to take the next flight. We followed up with this Customer and involved Employees to get more details and, in our latest conversations, understand from the Customer the situation was resolved to his satisfaction.”
