When releasing new music today, half the battle is online promotion. However, contests, signed merch and giveaways aren’t always the best solutions. When working on their latest album, Hedley came up with a brilliant idea, they decided to make trailers.
It’s hard to prepare for an interview with Hedley. So in this interview, we threw caution to the wind, got a 24 of beer and broadcast the interview live on our USTREAM (andPOP.tv). Eventually Jacob, Dave and @jordans_life ended up talking about hairy legs, their newest music video and more.

Not everyone trusts the government and believes President Obama when he says bin Laden is dead. Undersea explorer Bill Warren is one of those people. So he will search the North Arabian sea looking for Osama’s body, and to confirm he is really dead.
Bill Warren tells TMZ, the purpose of the excursion “is to try to find out if [Osama] is really dead and to provide to the world the proof that he is … We do this because we are patriotic Americans and feel that President Obama failed to provide the proof.”
“We intend to locate/recover his body and photograph and video tape him, then do a DNA test on the ship,” Warren adds.
We are not experts, but isn’t his body going to be next to impossible to find, even if it was actually dumped at sea? Wouldn’t it have been eaten by sharks and other sea creatures?
Hustler Video has announced that since Osama Bin Laden was such a huge fan of porn, it’s only fair that they make a porn parody of the terrorist. The title of the film? “This Ain’t Bin Laden XXX.”
“Oh yeah, we’re going there,” Hustler Video Director of Operations Rob Smith said. “We’re pretty sure from what we’ve heard that Bin Laden was a big fan of Hustler. He was looking at porn, now porn is looking at him. See, it all comes full circle.”
TMZ reports the DVD should be released this summer.
We look forward to seeing it. (Not that we are huge porn addicts. We just like funny porn movies.)
You always have to admire someone with hustle and entrepreneurial spirit. 23-year old Maurice Harary made some quick cash after creating a website to commemorate the death of Osama bin Laden reports TMZ.
Once Harary heard bin Laden was dead, he built a website that sells ”OBL is dead” t-shirts. The site went live a 3:30am, and by Tuesday evening, he had sold around 10,000 units at 12 bucks a pop.
Here’s a question, do you think Maurice will donate some of the profits to the 9/11 victims fund? He probably would sell even more t-shirts if he did.
Could the guy best known for eating McDonald’s food really have found Osama Bin Laden?
Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, who shot to fame with “Super Size Me,” has recently finished his newest doc, “Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden?” And word is that he actually did succeed where the United States government has failed miserably.
According to CinemaBlend, “The film’s director of photography told SlashFilm that Morgan ‘definitely got the holy grail.’ Since the movie is about him hunting Osama, that would make him the holy grail… wouldn’t it? For now though, everyone around the production is keeping things locked down.”
Further proof that Spurlock’s film will be an infamous one? “The Weinstein Company bought the thing after seeing only 15 minutes of it at the Berlin Film Festival.”
Superhero Batman is readying for battle against his deadliest nemesis ever — Osama bin Laden.
Comics writer and artist Frank Miller announced at the WonderCon 2006 comic-book convention in San Francisco last weekend that Batman would find bin Laden and al Qaeda in the next DC Comics graphic novel, ABC News reports.
The Caped Crusader will hunt down bin Laden after the terror leader attacks Gotham City in the graphic novel, to be called “Holy Terror, Batman!”.
Miller says there is nothing campy about the latest graphic novel, despite the title.
“Emotionally, it’s really raw,” Miller told the WonderCon audience, reports ABC News. “Imagine the powerful rage when someone crosses the passion between a man and a woman or a man and his city.”
Osama bin Laden’s niece is posing for a sexy spread in GQ’s January issue, Reuters reports.
“Everyone relates me to that man, and I have nothing to do with him,” Wafah Dufour complains in the article titled “It Isn’t Easy Being the Sexy Bin Laden.”
Dufour reclines on satin sheets wrapped in feathers and poses in a bubble bath wearing nothing but jewellery in the GQ photo shoot.
Dufour is an aspiring New York musician who took her mother’s name after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States.
She tells the magazine that her family ties to al Qaeda have led to death threats against her and depression.
“I was born in the States and I want people to know I’m American, and I want people here to understand that I’m like anyone in New York. For me, it’s home,” she said.
