Lance Bass of *N Sync Producing a Play About Escorts

Remember when Lance Bass once declared he wanted to go into outer space? The former boy band singer is once again on to peculiar pursuits.

According to The Advocate, Bass will be co-producing a theatre production about Hollywood Escorts. Hmm, does that mean Lindsay Lohan’s finally gonna get some work?

The play, The Fabulous Lies of Hollywood Whores, is written by Ben Deagle and will be produced by other stars alongside Bass including Jamie Kennedy.

The funny thing about this story is that Bass allegedly wants to cast Kirstie Alley as a pimp. I’m not sure what about the has-been actress with weight issues screams “Hollywood pimp”, but maybe we have to trust Lance on this one. I mean…this is the guy that once thought he could buy his way into a NASA space mission.

Justin Timberlake Takes a Tumble

“Social Network” star Justin Timberlake halted production on his latest movie after seriously injuring his calf muscle during a stunt.

Pop Eater reports that JT was on-set shooting futuristic thriller “Now” when he hurt himself so badly he required crutches and rest. The film is on hiatus until Timberlake can get back on his feet and back into the action, which doctors are saying will take about two weeks.

He’s not completely incapacitated though – Timberlake appeared at the ArcLight theatre with his Social Network co-stars to answer some questions about the now infamous Facebook movie.

Until the MRI results give the “Now” crew the green light, the film will be completely ground to a halt.

Looks like “Now” may be a good time to start working on that next album, Justin?

Justin Told 15-Year-Old Mandy She Had Big Feet

Back when The Backstreet Boys and N’Sync were in the height of their popularity, most 15-year-old girls would have done anything to tour with them. But Mandy Moore, who did just that, told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday that it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

“I don’t even think they knew I was there,” she said of her one-time tour mates. “I had a crush on a different guy every day of the week!” adding that Justin Timberlake was her number one obsession at the time.

Unfortunately, Timberlake didn’t exactly whisper sweet nothings to the “Candy” teenybopper. “He told me, ‘You have big feet for a girl,’” Mandy recalled. “I think he was trying to be cute.”
