There is no more horrific feeling than waking up with a massive hangover. Except maybe being woken up outside after sleeping on the steps of a public monument a group of Norwegian men in suits circled around you singing at the top of their lungs.
That’s what happened to this young man, and he looked very confused as he slowly realized what was happening. Actually, he looked like he was going to lose his lunch (or more likely his midnight drunk snack). Still, watching him take in the scene is pretty hilarious. Let’s just hope if he did get sick, he aimed away from the lederhosen.
Oh, young love. How fragile and tender it is.
Justin Bieber tweeted a picture of himself and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez on Sunday, which he promptly deleted afterwards but not quickly enough for Beliebers and Selenators to miss. The two pop stars sparked rumours of possibly rekindling their relationship late last week when they were spotted kissing in Oslo, Norway Thursday night.
Oh No They Didn’t compared the Bieber’s short-lived couple shot to a recent Gomez selfie comparing her spike-y manicured nails, suggesting their meeting is quite recent:
What do you think, Beliebers and Selenators? Should they get back together?
There’s a debate going on in our ANDPOP office: Is it inspiring or depressing that this dude’s crush is going to sleep with him after he got one million Facebook likes? Norway’s Petter Kverneng, 20, made a deal with his 19-year-old crush that he’s known since high school that if he got one million people to like the photo above on Facebook then she’d sleep with him.
The two friends were hanging out with a group when the conversation shifted to those two young girls who got their parents to buy them a dog after getting one million Facebook likes. They started brainstorming ideas of things they’d do in similar circumstances and they eventually settled on sex.
What started as a joke resulted in more than a million likes in 18 hours. Kverneng told the media: “It began as a joke, but now we’ll take it seriously… We must of course keep what we promise.” Of COURSE he’d say that.
The whole thing reflects how quickly things can go viral on the Internet. While it’s pretty dexterous of him to make the deal, I think it’s kind of depressing that they’d leave their sex lives in the dangerous hands of Internet trolls.
Have you ever wondered where dubstep originated? Some people (Wikipedia, sigh) say dubstep the electronic dance music back in the late 90s, in South London. But according to Norway’s comedy group KollektivetTV2 dubstep had a far different birth. And it’s madness, pure madness!

1. Today on the Internet, animal photos ruled again, starting with this photo of a new species of monkey found in Africa, called lesula. He eats bananas (unconfirmed) and will look deep into your soul with his beady eyes.
2. Although the animal photos were going strong, this young violinist delighted us with a sexual innuendo. This is how gangstas play the violin.
3. Finally! A fashionable fox you can fit in your roomy cardigan pocket to bring around town with you. It’s a statement piece.
4. Officially the nicest place on Earth. How will I ever go back to my house with the view of the hydro field? Gudvangen, Norway.

Bears Go HAM
A family of bears broke into a cabin near Jarfjord, Norway, and basically went HAM on it. Not only is the cabin completely destroyed, all the food was eaten as well. You may be asking yourself why some random bears would destroy a cabin? Inside there were 100 beers, all of which were consumed by those fuzzy animals. So, just think of it as a college-like experience, but instead of rowdy frat boys it’s your average family of bears drinking all night and destroying perfectly good homes. That shit cray. [Source]
Spider Woman?
If the Paranormal Activity movies aren’t enough to keep you from sleeping, this story definitely will. A woman in China had surgery last Wednesday to remove a little hairy friend, living somewhere it shouldn’t. Doctors removed a HUGE HAIRY SPIDER from inside this women’s ear canal!!!! She went to see her doctor after having an itchy ear for a few days. Turns out it was itchy due to her little friend, who they speculate must have burrowed inside her ear while she was sleeping. This legitimately is one of my childhood fears, and still is. So below, I created a list of ways to stop your worst fear from happening.
1. Always sleep with the covers over your ears. This is what I do, and so far, no spiders are living in my ears.
2. When your creepy-spidey-sense starts tingling, go to bed with your headphones on, or at least in your ears.
3. Ear plugs. A simple and cheap solution.
4. Worst case, if you cannot do anything mentioned above, put some band-aids over those ears. You will stay safe throughout the night from any ear invasions. You’re Welcome. [Source]
Laundry Fail

We have all had that freak out moment, when we need our clothes to be dry NOW, but they aren’t cause we forgot to turn on the dryer/lost track of time/had a lazy brother who wouldn’t take his clothes out. Well maybe the last reason is just me, but either way, DO NOT ATTEMPT to dry your wet clothes in a microwave. Someone near Weymouth, England decided this was a reasonable idea and almost burned his house down. Firefighters responded to the call and found a few appliances destroyed by the fire. His two pairs of underwear and socks, didn’t survive. [Source]

Usually when you think of spotting your favourite celebrity, it’s most likely outside a venue or their hotel (at the max). That wasn’t the case last night in Olso, Norway when Justin Bieber wrapped up his not so “surprise” concert on a floating stage outside the Olso Opera House. The stage itself brought tons of speculation before it was even announced on Twitter. Did we mention the admission was free?! Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun called TMZ to share his take on yesterday’s madness: “You think you’re a grown man who’s pretty tough, I’ll put 30 teenage girls in front of you and you will loose.” Justin later posted a video on the app Viddy of the screaming girls chasing him…by boat! He was forced to make his way back to land on a fire rescue boat, but he sure does love his Beliebers. Justin is now in Paris continuing his promotional tour for his upcoming album, Believe. He tweeted, “now off to another #secretshow but this time a little more intimate and romantic. #cityoflove” Ahhh! How romantic!

Are these screaming girls running because:
1) They’re trying to get away from Loki.
2) There’s an INSANE sale at Forever 21.
3) Justin Bieber.
The correct answer is OBVS Justin Bieber. He caused so much chaos in Oslo today that they threatened to call a state of emergency and shut down his surprise concert in the city.
JB is there to kick off his promotional tour for his upcoming album believe and announced the surprise gig via Twitter. That’s when fans went into a frenzy and thousands of screamers flocked to the venue and overwhelmed the police force. [Source]

Puppies, toddlers, and other innocent people wept yesterday as Radar Online reported the worst possible scenario that could have occurred on planet earth has indeed happened: Lady GaGa has put on, like, maybe five pounds.
Gagaloo’s fans noticed her extra padding during a concert in Norway as a part of her Monster’s Ball tour. Though her costumes, music and showmanship have not changed in the slightest, the event seemed to be missing one element – Mother Monster’s washboard lady-abs.
Could we get serious for a moment? The chart-topping wunderkind has been hospitalized six times in the past for dangerous dieting habits. The woman has more hit records than you have fingers. She’s a fashion icon. She puts all of her money back into her performances. And, most of all, she’s passionate about everything she touches. COULD SOMEONE CUT THE GIRL SOME SLACK, PLEASE?!
We’re not huge GaGa fans, but this is ridiculous. Remember the meat dress? You loved the meat dress, internet! Bring that love back.
Marit Larsen was still missing her four front teeth when she got her first taste of the stage as the role of Molly in Annie. She was only seven.
And while she has since ditched the ginger wig for a microphone and guitar, she can credit her love for performance and music back to that early age.
“It was music, music, music,” Larsen told andPOP of her childhood. She was born just outside Oslo, Norway, and lived between two farms and a shopping mall. Her father was a professional cello player, so she was exposed to music all her life.
Larsen’s claim to fame can be traced back to pop duo M2M, which started when she was 15. Together with Marion Raven, they took over the 90’s charts in Norway as well as other parts of Europe, Japan, and even the United States. They sold over two million albums.
“We were so young,” Larsen, now 26, said. It was nice for them to have each other to lean on and to relate to, she added. “Now when I get a hit solo record I can go have coffee with myself,” she said with a laugh.
