When you’re nominated for a major award, it’s always good to be prepared for how you’ll react if you win or lose. If you win, you want to make sure you thank the right people and show your graciousness. If you lose, you want to make sure your expression shows you’re disappointed but still happy for the winner.
Host Kevin Hart asked One Direction to practice their expressions in both scenarios. They all look like they’re great sports, especially Harry Styles who doesn’t look disappointed about potentially losing AT ALL. Liam on the other hand…

Chris Brown is the top contender at the BET awards this year with six nominations, reports Billboard.
Brown is up for best male R&B artist, viewer’s choice and video of the year for ‘Look at Me Now.’ He’s also nominated twice in the best collaboration category for his No. 1 hits ‘Deuces,’ featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall, and ‘Look at Me Now,’ with Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne.
Brown is also getting recognition for his acting, as he is nominated for best actor for his role in the heist thriller ‘Takers.’
Lil Wayne is nominated five times, three of them coming from his guest appearance on Brown’s ‘Look at Me Now.’
Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna are up for four awards each as well. Alicia Keys will perform and comedian Kevin Hart will host the award show. It airs live on June 26 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Wow, can we call this a Chris Brown comeback? I personally still think he’s a douchebag, but Rihanna-related-events aside, I guess his music is pretty good. We’ll have to tune in to see how many awards he actually wins. I know he deserves to deal with the consequences of his actions, but its good to see him on some sort of path to recovery, both career-wise and personal-wise.
MTV has released their full list of this year’s MTV Movie Award nominations.
The show will be hosted by Jason Sudeikis and will air June 5. Check out the full list below.

Summer is almost here, and we all know what that means: Toronto’s biggest (well, most commercial) music party is coming back.
The MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVA’s), set to take place in June, will see Queen and John Streets transformed with celebrities, screaming fans, live performances, and, of course, awards.
This time around, Toronto’s own rap prince Drake is in the nomination lead with a total of seven, reports Yahoo! News. The awards show comes right after Drake releases his highly anticipated debut album, Thank Me Later.
Vancouver band Hedley follows behind with six nominations, and GTA pop sensation Justin Bieber comes in with four nominations. Other notable nominees include Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, and Miley Cyrus, who will also be hosting the awards show along with MuchMusic VJs.
Cyrus, Bieber and Perry are also scheduled to perform at the show.
We took a visit to the Junos Nomination Press Conference earlier this month. Despite being stuck in the back corner, we got some awesome interviews with The Arkells, Stereos, Danny Fernandes and more!
The nominees for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were announced last night during a special televised one-hour concert event, reports rollingstone.com.
Only some of the nominees were announced on television, but a full list is available at the Grammy’s official site. Beyoncé leads the group with 10 nominations for her latest album, I Am…Sasha Fierce and her song, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).” Taylor Swift comes in second with eight nominations. Lady Gaga scored five nods.
The concert, that was hosted by LL Cool J, featured guest stars like Ringo Starr and Kay Perry, and showed performances by the Black Eyed Peas, as well as the debut of Nick Jonas and the Administration.
Lady Gaga is set to bring her outrageous fashions and chart-topping tunes to Toronto next month as a performer at the MuchMusic Video Awards.
The show, to be co-hosted by the Jonas Brothers, will air live on June 21 starting at 9 p.m., preceded by a red carpet special at 8 p.m.
Currently on tour in Australia, Lady Gaga told MuchNews that she was looking forward to her appearance at the MMVAs.
The stage adaptation scored by Elton John of the Oscar nominated movie “Billy Elliot” danced away with 15 Tony Award nominations, leading in nods.
John and Dolly Parton compete for Best Original Score for “Billy Elliot” and “9 to 5.” The ballet-themed play will also go up against “Shrek The Musical,” “Next to Normal” and “Rock of Ages” for the Best Musical category.
Nominated stars include James Gandolfini, Jeff Daniels, Allison Janney, Geoffrey Rush, Martha Plimpton, Angela Lansbury, Jane Fonda, Hope Davis, Raúl Esparza, former “American Idol” finalist Constantine Maroulis among other performers.
Both Coldplay and Lil Wayne scored top nominations for the 51st annual Grammy Awards.
This year the nominees were announced in a slightly different way – through a televised concert featuring Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, John Mayer and other artists.
Chris Martin and the rest of the guys from Coldplay garnered an Album of the Year nod for “Viva la Vida,” as did Lil Wayne for “Tha Carter III ,“ Neo for “Year of the Gentleman,” and Alison Krauss and Robert Plant for “Raising Sand.” Lastly, Radiohead also received a nomination in the category for the album “In Rainbows.”
Brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas received a Best New Artist nomination. They’re up against Duffy, Adele, R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan and Lady Antebellum .
Record of the Year nominations went to Adele for “Chasing Pavements,” Leona Lewis for “Bleeding Love,” M.I.A. For “Paper Planes,” Robert Plant & Alison Krauss for “Please Read The Letter,” and Coldplay for “Viva La Vida”.
