New Kids On The Block just released their music video for “Remix (I Like The).”
The video is set at a summer party, complete with a live band and people making small talk with one another. There’s always that one awkward person who is sitting on the couch, by themselves, eating whatever’s on the table.
So what happens if that wallflower decides to break out? That’s what happens in the video. We see the wallflower, portrayed by It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Artemis Pebdani, breaking out and going wild, basically taking the party with her. She’s pretty much looks like you whenever you’re home alone listening to this some dope music (or is this just me?).
Fangirling over their looks? Check. Synchronized boy band moves? Check. Synchronized swimming? Check. This video pretty much has all the elements of a good boy band video!

Showing that they’re not ‘kids’ anymore, the members of New Kids on the Block prove their manhood by posing shirtless and sporting matching mustaches.
But like all good things, Donnie Wahlberg and his stache must come to an end. Posting the photo on Twitter a couple of hours before he shaved it off for a new season of ‘Blue Bloods’, the singer/actor tweeted the caption, ”After 3 months cultivating, countless insults, thousands of requests to shave the #stache,” along with the photo.
Wahlberg also posted a funny video of him having a conversation with his onscreen father, who appeared in the form of a poster. Explaining to his fans why he’s reluctant to see his facial hair go, the 42-year-old fake cries on camera.
“I know it’s creepy,” Wahlberg lamented while shaving, “but I like my stache. I know some people think I look creepy, like an unworthy 70s porn star,” he sighed, “but I like my stache. Wait,” he said, correcting himself as he put the razor down. “I liked my stache.”
Personally Donnie? Your stache is hardly the thing we’re looking at. In your forties, you and your band mates still look hot!!!
You may not know it yet, but just as boy bands like Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync have, RedOne’s newest project, Midnight Red, is gearing up to take the world by storm – “One Club At A Time.”
The band, made up of members Eric Secharia, 19, Colton Rudloff, 22, Anthony Ladao, 18, Thomas Augusto, 19, and Joey Diggs, 21, just wrapped up their tour with NKOTBSB, and we recently caught up with Midnight Red member Eric during some down time to chat about touring with two of the greatest boy bands of all time, as well as what fans can expect from the band’s debut album.
“If someone would have given me that situation again I couldn’t even recreate it, it was so surreal,” Eric told andPOP of going on stage for the first time in Las Vegas during the NKOTBSB tour. “All my life I’ve known this is what I wanted to do, and it’s like right at that moment, in Las Vegas, all the lights came off…all the fans were just screaming, and I was just standing there on stage and you could just feel their presence. It was so surreal the way that all happened.” And that surreal experience represents perfectly how the band came to be.
Eric, having already known Thomas previously, was in Los Angeles with Anthony when they decided to fly Thomas over to try out for the band, and later met Joey through a former manager. But it’s the story of how Colton came to join the group that proves how down to earth the members of the band truly are. “Colton we found on YouTube,” explains Eric. “We just typed in white boy who can sing, we went through it and he popped up. And that’s how midnight red came to be.”
Last night the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block teamed up to create a supergroup at the American Music Awards. The two groups performed a medley of both bands’ hits.
The first mega-famous boy band and one of the last combined to sing NKOTB’s ‘Step By Step’ and ‘You’ve Got It (The Right Stuff)’ and BSB’s ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),’ ‘I Want It That Way’ and ‘Larger Than Life.’
Obviously women from all age groups and generations were made very happy by this hybrid boy band. We think it was a pretty good performance. What do you think?
It’s Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block. Must we say more? This guy is a pop star god. Even though he has been out of the limelight for a few years, he still has people chasing him (which we witnessed personally). Joey spoke to us about his new solo effort along with giving us a glimpse into the good old days.
