2011 was an awesome year for Foster The People. However, the guys are not sitting around and losing the momentum. They are already planning the next album.

“There’s definitely musical elements that we’ve talked about,” frontman Mark Foster told MTV News. “You know, really leaning on the percussive nature of what our live show has turned into this year, and bringing that more out into the second record — just kind of experimenting, doing some different, weird studio tricks; just having fun with it. But you never really know until you get under the hood, so we’ll see what happens when we start.”

Nicci Nix impressed the judges on American Idol with her high-pitched Italian accent, but she may not be who she says she is, reports TMZ. Nix has appeared on at least four other reality shows including Fear Factor, Next, Making the Band and Date My Mom, with a different voice.

On Fear Factor, Nix went by the name Nicci Palmeri and claimed to be from California – not Italy.
