Get ready to dance the night away to Daft Punk’s funky new song “Get Lucky”.
Featuring the always talented Pharrell Williams, the song sounds like an old-school disco jam and sounds and awful lot like Canadian electrofunk band Chromeo.
‘Get Lucky’ is Daft Punk’s first single off their fourth album titled, “Random Access Memories”, due to come out on May 21. This will be their first studio album since “Human After All”, which was released in 2005.
However, if anyone has been keeping track, the french duo scored the”Tron: Legacy” soundtrack in 2010, which unfortunately seemed to be the best part of the film…
If you’re sick of the hardcore, in-your-face dubstep we hear in many of today’s Electronic Dance Music singles, then perhaps Daft Punk’s highly anticipated new single is worth a listen.
Step aside, Willow Smith. Jadagrace is in the building!
The 13-year-old was discovered by Redfoo of LMFAO and her first single entitled “Run Dat Back,” on iTunes today. Not only is she sassy and adorable, she can also dance AND act. She definitely has all the makings of a mini pop princess!
I love love LOVE her! I just wish I had this much talent when I was 13…
Check out the pint-sized star’s song here:
“Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up)” – Dillon Francis
Dillon Francis’ latest single mashes house music and reggaeton into an absolute club banger. Seriously people, this is the stuff you want to get down to on the dance floor. The video for the track is just as crazy as the song, with Francis’ giant bobblehead superimposed with lazers and a detachable mouth. It’s a little creepy but bobblehead Francis is having so much fun you’ll just want to party next to him.
“5AM in Toronto” – Drake
Drake performs an ode to his hometown, Toronto, in his latest track. The production is nice and low key, letting Drake’s smart rhymes shine through. It appears as though Drake snapped and finally wanted to address his haters as he talks about his rise to stardom, his talent, and calls out those against him.

It’s nearly patio weather and I think we’re all trying scope out the new song for spring/summer. I don’t know if Sean Paul’s new song will be it but it certainly has that Latin twist. “She Doesn’t Mind” is perfect for a sunny day at the beach: ”Girl, I got you so high / And I know you like / So come on push it on me / If it feels alright / Put it, drop it low and break it off / No, she doesn’t mind/ Aight, she doesn’t mind, aight, she doesn’t mind.” Yikes, he really goes there!!
The official remix also features Pitbull. What do you think of it?
