The MMVAs were this Sunday and we at ANDPOP know that you were probably having an internal argument with yourself over whether you’d continue watching the MMVAs or change the channel to the third episode of The Wanted Life. Lucky for you guys, my love for The Wanted trumps all else and I was sucked into yet another highly dramatic episode. Here is what happened on this week’s episode.
The episode starts off sweetly with the boys visiting Ryan Seacrest in his new studio at the Sick Kids Hospital. After a brief interview with Ryan, the boys met the kids in the hospital and do a small performance. The entire thing is incredibly heart-warming and swoon-worthy.
The drama kicks in when the boys start talking about what they want to do for their next Wanted World fan event. It starts out harmlessly enough with Nathan and Siva throwing out suggestions of paintballing and go carting. Max throws out the idea of a BBQ at Casa De Wanted and that is when the ish starts to hit the fan.
Nathan and Jay seem to like the idea but Nareesha is quick to turn it down saying that it’s not a good idea. Siva agrees with Nareesha and says that it would be crossing a major line to have fans come into the house where they eat, sleep, and live. The conversation quickly gets heated as the conversation moves into the living room and Tom, Kelsey and even their security guard Big Kev jump on board with the BBQ idea. The whole thing gets escalated far too quickly, Siva throws out a name and everyone ends up storming off angry. By this point, I’m sitting here at the edge of my seat asking myself, is that a no to the BBQ then?
When describing The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness, many words can come to mind. For example, clumsy:
Another way the #TWFanmily could possibly describe the curly-haired member is, let’s say, articulate. Whether it’s in interviews, his tweets or on the band’s reality show The Wanted Life, Jay is always there to offer some of the most memorable and quotable moments. With the power of gifs and tweets (because nothing on the internet really ever dies), let’s sit back and enjoy some of Jay’s best quotes and moments which will leave you both laughing and scratching your head.
Here Are 10 Hilarious Moments And Quotes of Jay McGuiness:
1. Jay’s Typing Troubles
If there’s one thing the BBC does well, it’s the great games they have their artists play in studio. So when the guys recently visited Matt Edmondson on BBC Radio 1 they played a game of pie tennis where, whoever won, would send a tweet from the losers account. In this moment, we all learned that, when in a boy band, you lose the ability to type. Huh-Noted Jay.
This is the tweet that was sent out:
2. A lesson in farting
I don’t know the context of this but it’s an interesting piece of advice, to say the least. He also manages to rhyme which impresses fellow band member Max George. This is talent, people.
3. He’s drunk… Most of the time
To say fans of The Wanted have been eagerly waiting for news on their latest album would be putting it mildly. The guys have been staying pretty hush hush about the new tunes and haven’t been giving the #TWFanmily much to go on—until now.
Max George spilled the beans on which artists we can expect to hear on The Wanted’s much anticipated third album and, boy, it’s pretty impressive. We can expect to hear none other than Rita Ora, Dr. Luke, Nasri (who works with Justin Bieber) and Justin Bieber himself on their new effort, Max tells MTV News.
”Nath’s back so I think it’s gonna be our best album yet and hopefully there’ll be a couple of surprise collabs there as well.”
Surprise collaborations you say? How great would it be if one of those featured One Direction and they’re both singing about how all this “fighting” was one big joke? No? Just me?
In more The Wanted news, a demo rumoured to have been written for the album has leaked and the consensus to be a hit with fans. The song titled “Out of Time (Only You),” which features Paddy Dalton and Benny Scarrs, has the band’s Jay McGuiness singing most of the solos. Offering a more indie rock sound, the song is amazing and here’s hoping it makes the final cut.
LISTEN TO “OUT OF TIME (ONLY YOU)” FEATURING PADDY DALTON, BENNY SCARRS AND JAY MCGUINESS BELOW:
And for some kicks and giggles, let’s sit back and watch The Wanted’s shenanigans, without Nathan and his sarcastic comments (sad face) as they play Pie Tennis on BBC Radio1:
After a lengthy recovery from throat surgery, Nathan Sykes has returned to the Wanted!
The youngest member of the boy band popped from the stage to do his famous “I Found You” solo at the Capital FM Summertime Ball on Sunday. The boys left the crowd hanging once the verse came up, only to have the missing piece in their band rise from the stage and kill the solo. We could not help but get a bit emotional while watching this video.

It’s another week, another episode of The Wanted Life and boy, was episode two dramatic. Just in case you didn’t get a chance to tune in, here’s what you missed:
Max’s brother Jack comes for a visit and the two spend some quality bro time together. Max and Jack enjoy their brotherly bonding visit with cannonballs into the pool, a phone call to mum and later a little talk by the pool.
This talk gets a little serious when Jack brings up Max’s relationship status, to which Max admits that he has been “Talking” to someone; which begs the question, who and since when? Sadly, Jack’s visit comes to an end and Max gets a little emotional as he says goodbye to his brother, shedding a few tears and pacing as he admits he’s really going to miss his brothers company. I was not crying at this point, I just had a twig or a branch or something in my eye.
The boys of The Wanted recently spent some time in L.A working on a new album and allowed cameras to follow them around on their journey to making it big in America. The first episode premiered last night on E! And it was quite the first episode.
It starts off with the band arriving at their new digs that management has set up for them. They were basically running around like children in a candy store. They break in their first night with ping pong and drinks; well except for poor baby Nathan who is not of legal drinking age.
We’re also introduced to the two ladies of The Wanted. Tom’s girlfriend Kelsey is the more out-going, loud, and rambunctious one. She’s like one of the boys, as Tom points out, and even says that she may as well have a penis at some points. Siva’s girlfriend Nareesha is the more conservative and soft spoken one out of the two but as the show progresses, she’s not afraid to speak her mind…about everything.

E!’s cameras have been trailing the members of mega-boy band The Wanted during their stay in Los Angeles. Now fans will finally be able to see what it’s like to be the world’s most notorious boy band as their reality show, The Wanted Life, premieres this Sunday.
After seeing promos, it looks like it’s going to be a good watch. Here are the 10 things I hope to see in the upcoming season:
1. A more serious side

We know they can be goofy and playful, it’s just who they are. What I’m really hoping to see is them show that they know how to be serious when the time calls for it.
2. Lots of topless shots
Yum.
3. The fans
Especially the coo-coo banana ones!
4. The Girlfriends
While the wait until the premiere of The Wanted Life whittling down (5 more days! It’s not like we’re counting or anything…), the boys of The Wanted sat down with “The King of E!” Ryan Seacrest for an intimate interview where they open up about life, love and signing with Scooter Braun.
Max George, Siva Kaneswaren, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker were their usual fun selves as they took Ryan on a tour of their swanky and messy L.A home where they shared stories of their first ever gig and how Max spends the most time in the hot tub where he goes on cold nights to “get rid of his sins.” Sure Max, sure. Jay adds, “it became this weird luxurious petri dish for bacteria.” Um, too much information there, Jay.
Along with on-on-one interviews, the guys show a bit of a different side of the band in this sit-down interview and we get to hear poor Nathan sounding all raspy before he underwent throat surgery in April.
The Wanted Life premieres Sunday June 2 on E! but in the meantime, watch their manager Scooter Braun give the boys a lecture in partying HERE.
It’s no secret the boys of The Wanted like to party. But things seemed to have gotten a little out of control when they finally arrived in Los Angeles leaving their manager, Scooter Braun, having to reel them in.
“It’s not like we’re going to set fire to a baby,” said Jay McGuiness, and to which Scooter replied, “…What I need you to do is understand that you’re not here to party.”
Considering Scooter also manages the likes of Justin Bieber, Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen, it’s probably words of wisdom The Wanted should heed. Will they adjust accordingly to life in L.A.? We’ll have to find out when The Wanted Life premieres on June 2nd on E!
If you’re a #TWPrisoner or just simply follow The Wanted, you probably know about Nathan Sykes and his resemblance to sloths. From Tumblr to Twitter, the Fanmily love pointing out anything sloth related that reminds them of the youngest member of the band.
If you’re new to the fandom and while reading this you’re thinking, “That’s rude! Why would fans compare our cute and lovable little Nathan to the furry and slow-moving animal?” Don’t worry, Nathan himself has pointed it out the resemblance many times by making jokes about it. And since sloths are slow, appearances aren’t the only similarity they share as Nathan seems to be the one everyone waits on, according to his bandmate Jay McGuiness:
Even sloths need their beauty sleep.
Now that you’re all caught up, here are 10 sloths that look like Nathan Sykes:
Watch out for these two and their super karate skills

Can’t decide which is cuter: A cheeky baby sloth or cheeky Nathan Sykes, so let’s just call it a draw
It looks like boy band The Wanted have been making their ways around! Right after their appearance on Dancing With the Stars, jumped onto the set of The Voice Australia for yet another reality show performance. This time, Jay, Siva, Tom and Max performed their latest single “Walks Like Rihanna” on Tuesday. As usual, the boys looked and sounded great but we’re still a little sad that Nathan has been missing from the line-up as he recovers from his throat surgery.
The band will be doing more than performing on reality competition shows come this summer. The band’s own show, The Wanted Life, will premiere on Sunday June 2nd on E!. You can watch the preview for their Los Angeles shenanigans HERE.
British boy band The Wanted performed a cover of Tori Kelly’s “Fill A Heart” on Monday’s episode of Dancing with the Stars. The proceeds of the band’s cover will go to the “Child Hunger Ends Here” campaign.
The Wanted’s Tom Parker later tweeted about their performance:
Loved performing on DWTS. And it was for a real worthy cause. Visit childhungerendshere.com to make a difference x
— Thomas Parker (@TomTheWanted) May 15, 2013
Missing from the group was Nathan Parker who is still recovering from throat surgery.

If you’re like me, chances are you’ve had The Wanted’s latest single “Walks Like Rihanna” stuck in your head since its release, and have been eagerly awaiting the music video as they’ve been teasing on Twitter. We don’t have to wait any longer because the video is here!
With a title like this, one would expect the guys to be galavanting down the streets of Los Angeles while being surrounded by beautiful women. Instead, the guy’s fall head over heels over one woman—their director! The guys decided to use the opportunity to mock or pay homage (I haven’t decided yet) to past boy bands by reenacting scenes from N’Sync’s “No Strings Attached,” The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” and Take That’s “Back For Good.” I don’t know, I’m kind of getting a BSB “As Long As You Love Me” feel to the video too.
From the dance moves to the dramatic boyband poses, not gonna lie the video had me giggling ’til the end.
Jay, Max, Siva, Tom and Nathan also shared some behind the scenes footage on the U.K.’s Daybreak. Siva even confessed that he was supposed to be Kevin during their little homage to BSB.I’m going to assume Jay is Nick, Max is A.J, Tom is Brian and with Nathan’s hair slicked back, he’s clearly channeling Howie.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to hear the rest of this album.

The boys in The Wanted have been living it up in sunny L.A. for the past couple of months. Thankfully, E!’s cameras were there to film their American adventures.
Jumping on the reality show bandwagon, The Wanted Life takes fans behind the scenes as The Wanted work on their new album, giving a bit of insight on the day in the life of being a part of one the biggest boybands around right now. Fans will have to wait until its premiere on June 2nd to see Jay, Siva, Max, Tom and Nathan on their TV sets but E! is giving a little preview of what fans can look forward to in this trailer.
Shall we host a viewing party? I think so!
Just a few days ago, The Wanted teased us with a snippet of their newest single, “Walks Like Rihanna”. Since then, we couldn’t wait until the full song premiere.
Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long as the single hit radio airwaves today and well, WE LOVE IT. It makes our hearts go boom boom! It might be a bit different than their previous singles, but we can still see ourselves singing this song into our good ol’ hair brush microphones.

TWFanmily can rejoice because a new The Wanted song is on the way! The band have just released a preview of the single, “Walks Like Rihanna.” Nathan Sykes‘ unplanned hiatus from the band may have thrown fans off guard but this pop number should hold them over until he makes a full recovery.
What do you think so far?
The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes had to undergo surgery due to a haemorrhaging nodule in his throat on Thursday. (yikes!) Sykes announced on Tuesday that he will need to take a hiatus after his surgery in order to fully heal. This caused the Fanmily to be worried about the health and the future of the band: will he sing again? Who’s going to kill the “I Found You” solo? Why, out of all days, did it have to be on his birthday?!
But never fear, Sykes is doing just fine. He tweeted this soon after his surgery:
Out of surgery … what a way to spend my birthday!
— Nathan Sykes (@NathanTheWanted) April 18, 2013
The Wanted’s Tom Parker also reassured the fanmily by tweeting this:
Just seen Nath. He was away with the fairies but doing OK. Grateful for all your messages x
— Thomas Parker (@TomTheWanted) April 18, 2013
Nathan’s with the fairies? How do we get there? Take us there, Parker!
All jokes aside, we’re really glad that Nathan’s doing alright. We might not get to see him talk, or hear him sing anytime soon, but as long he’s fine and on the road to recovery, we don’t mind sacrificing a few weeks. But hey, think about this, Nathan: you probably can drink all the tea without anyone judging you now, right?
We’re also glad to see that the Fanmily was able to make him smile on his birthday by flooding his timeline with birthday wishes and a speedy recovery. Nathan also tweeted:
Not gonna lie, I have been completely overwhelmed by all of the love, support and birthday wishes from you guys. You are all amazing!!
— Nathan Sykes (@NathanTheWanted) April 19, 2013
There must be no other feeling than waking up from surgery and to receive so much love. Have a speedy recovery, Nathan!
The Wanted has announced that member Nathan Sykes will be taking an unforeseen hiatus following his throat surgery on Thursday April 19th.
“Our lil Nath has to go in for an operation on his throat, on his birthday to make him better,” the group wrote on their Facebook page. “So please join us in wishing our brother and our friend well. Get well soon Nath, we love ya!”
The 19-year-old singer will have to rest his voice for about a month after the operation.
“The priority for Nathan, his label and management is that he is given time to recover and receive the best treatment possible,” said his reps. “The remaining four members of The Wanted will continue fulfilling the bands promotional commitments across the world.”
The band’s E! reality show The Wanted Life is set to premiere on June 2nd.
We hope Nathan has a speedy recovery!

If you’re the few Directioners and The Wanted fans who are casually scrolling through Twitter and Tumblr today and wondering, “Woah! What the heck happened last night?” Here is a full display of the Tom Parker and Louis Tomlinson Twitter fight of 2013.
Apparently Louis spoke some words about their rivals at a recent gig that Tom didn’t quite find amusing and which sparked this tweet:
Then Louis took a crack at the whole Max and Lindsay story
Then Liam decided to join on the fun:
It’s no secret that the lads of The Wanted can be pretty dirty minded at times and apparently children’s literature is no exception. Yesterday during their visit to The White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll, the boys entertained some kids to a reading of Caps for Sale but it was near the end of the book when they read something so hilarious that Max, Tom, Nathan, Jay and Siva broke into a full on giggle fit.

via death-by-lulz.tumblr.com
I can’t exactly pin-point what caused the hilarity to ensue but if Nathan’s tweet is any indication, I can only imagine they managed, as only they can, to find some hilarious innuendo in a kids book about someone selling caps.
