While celebrity deaths sprout emotional tributes left, right, and center, they do not always end up as tasteful and special as they set out to be. However, in the case of the late actor Patrick Swayze and ABC’s show Dancing with the Stars, the dance tribute was dirty, and that was perfect, according to E! Online.
The results that eliminated the first two contestants from Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night were put on the backburner as some of the show’s professional dancers took to the stage in a dancing Swayze tribute.
The late actor, known for his emotional role in the movie “Ghost” but also for his hearthrob performance in “Dirty Dancing,” would have been proud.
The tribute began with Chelsie Hightower and Dmitry Chaplin, both from So You Think You Can Dance fame, doing a romantic piece to “She’s Like the Wind.” This was followed by real-life husband and wife duo Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya waltzing to “Unchained Melody.” It was then that “Dirty Dancing” was really brought to life, with Tony Dovolani and Cheryl Burke dancing to the Oscar-winning song,”Time Of My Life,” and ending with the famous lift where Swayze hoisted Jennifer Grey into the air at the end of the movie. The tribute was received warmly by those who watched it.

Sexy R&B star MYA turned private investigator in a desperate bid to discover everything about a cheating ex.
The singer uncovered her producer boyfriend’s secret life when she moved from Maryland to Los Angeles in 2002, and decided to try to find out more about the unnamed two-timer.
She tells Vibe Vixen magazine, “I found the chick’s address; I went riding by. I was calling her cell phone to see if he would be in the background.
“I had her work number, all of that. I heard things about an engagement, wedding invitations… I just wanted the truth.”
When she confronted her cheating ex, he admitted he had major problems with monogamy and owned up to his other woman – and Mya agreed to stay with him.
She adds, “I didn’t want to be with anyone else. I didn’t want anyone else to know my body. So I stayed and dealt.”
Mya even tried to ditch her good-girl image to keep her man to herself after he criticised her “diva” like image.
She recalls, “(I said) ‘Alright, I’m gonna purchase a gun and start rolling around alone so you can see how real of a bitch I am.”
She turned to boxing and shooting to cope with her aggression: “It kept me sane. I became a damn member of the shooting range. It was that serious… I was a mess mentally… (but) the sex was good… That’s what kept me there.” (KL/VBV/MEH)

R&B star MYA received humbled praise from 50 CENT after she confronted the rapper over lyrics he had written about her.
In the 2006 song Not Rich, Still Lying, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson , claimed rival rapper The Game had slept with Mya – an allegation she denies.
And she was quick to let Jackson know how she felt.
She recalls, “I saw him and addressed him about it in person. He said, ‘You’re gangsta right now. You’re the talk of the town.’
“I just let him know how I felt.”
