It’s Mistletoe Monday!
The teen sensation that is Justin Bieber just sat down with Ryan Seacrest to explain his Christmas plans and to give fans a sneak peak of a track on his upcoming Christmas album.
Probably one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Under the Mistletoe features iconic artists like Mariah Carey and Boys II Men.
Mr. Selena Gomez recently shot a video for the single Mistletoe where he’s seen kissing a mysterious brunette. Although she looks an awful lot like his current girlfriend, we’re sure he’ll be kissing the real deal when he parties with Ryan Seacrest for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” this new year’s eve.
Take a look at the Beebs frolicking in the snow below.
Justin Bieber has found a Selena Gomez lookalike for his upcoming music video. Justin has released a behind the scenes video of the shoot for the “Miseltoe” music video.
Bieber says, “I’m really excited. [The song is] really catchy. I know all my fans are going to love it. It’s something that I feel like they’re going to be singing every Christmas.”
The video shows Christmas lights, Christmas trees, and everything is very Christmasy. And of course we see Justin getting very close and chummy with his female music video co-star, who just happens to look like Selena Gomez.
Drake released the latest video from “Take Care” with the single “Headlines.” The video features Toronto landmarks like The Rogers Centre (home of the Blue Jays) and also shows the CN Tower.
While Drake is rapping on the field of The Rogers Centre, the words “Take Care” are lit up on the Jumbotron behind him.
Drizzy was also inducted to the Canadian Walk of Fame. The organization said, “At 24 years of age, Drake has already achieved what has taken others a lifetime to do. He is kind, smart, talented, philanthropic, and driven. He is an inspiring example to all, and we are proud to recognize him this year as our young Canadian making a positive impact.”
October is turning out to be a big month for Drake!
Despite rumors that this photo was another strange shot from Billy Rae Cyrus’ personal collection, the “leaked photo” everyone has been talking about is actually from one of her music videos. If you look closely you can clearly see Miley wearing the same outfit in her 2010 video for “Who Owns My Heart.” Why or how it ended up causing a media frenzy is still a mystery. Although, this is a good indication that even after she turned eighteen, every pervert on the Internet still wants to see Miley in her underwear. What’s surprising is no one caught this obvious mistake earlier. If this was a photo taken without her permission, would she be rolling around in gold satin sheets wearing red high heels and makeup? Well, maybe.
Jennifer Lopez has debuted her new music video for “Papi.” In the video, Lopez causes quite a stir with guys as everyman she sees ends up in love with her. She also has a pretty impressive dance number at the end.
Will this make Marc Anthony jealous?
Cody Simpson was working on his new music video for “Not Just You” on Friday night in Los Angeles.
He tweeted, “heading to set on Venice Beach to film my new music video #NotJustYou. then downtown. can’t wait for you to see this. #art”
His album Coast to Coast is released this Tuesday. You can also check out our interview with Cody from earlier in the summer.
Joe Jonas told MTV that his new video for “Just in Love” would leave fans shocked – he wasn’t kidding.
The video shows Joe making out and getting very sexual with French model Angele.
“No, I’m not naked and she’s not naked,” he later told E! Online about the bathtub scene when the network premiered the video on Tuesday evening. “But I think it’s a little bit, well, I’ll just say it’s a little bit older than anything I’ve done before.”
Stay tuned for andPOP’s interview with Joe Jonas coming soon.
Lady Gaga kept her promise. She said to celebrate her 1000th post to Twitter, she would debut her new video, and she has. However, in traditional Gaga style, it’s pretty weird.
In this video, Gaga is the following:
- lovesick cyborg walking a rural street
- mermaid flopping around in a metal tub
- the experiment of some mad, shirtless scientist
- her male alter ego, Jo Calderone
Anyways, it doesn’t really matter what Gaga puts out, you know it will still get a billion views on YouTube. What do you think about the video?
We aren’t sure exactly this guy’s motives, but a disgruntled gentleman was arrested after crashing Beyonce’s music video, and throwing an egg at a cop.
The incident occurred in New Jersey this week at a trailer park where the video was being shot. The 23 year old man was already thrown off the set twice for sneaking onto the set and yelling “I can be a better dancer!” reports TMZ. He returned a third time and threw an egg at a cop.
Understandably, the police were not amused, and they chased him down and arrested him. The guy has been released from jail.
We are curious on his motives. Was he insane? Did he want to be in the video? Is he just an ass? So many questions left to be answered.
Rebecca Black has finally released her music video for “My Moment.” Our response? This moment has lasted too long.
The idea for the song is this is her “moment” (her 15 minutes of fame). The song is cheesy and the music video matches the song. Although the video is step up from her previous effort as far as quality, the whole effort is an insult to credible artists around the world.
If this is her strategy to become a legitimate pop star, we think she may have some major obstacles. But as far as a pop culture experiment and providing the world a great laugh, Rebecca nobody is better than you.
Enjoy your extended 15 minutes of fame!
Paramore is getting ready to release the music video for Monster, and the band is getting ready with a trailer for the big event. This is the first release for the band as a trio, and the trailer sees Hayley Williams and Jeremy Davis floating on water.
Monster was recorded for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack. The tune is already a hit with achieving over 1,000,000 views on YouTube.
Because you loved “Friday” so much, Rebecca Black is coming back with a new music video called “My Moment.” Black is hard “at work” producing the video as we speak, and it’s scheduled to be released July 18 on her YouTube page.
And that’s not all! Hollyscoop.com reports Black is also in the studio putting the finishing touches on a 5 track EP which will be out in August.
Let’s hope she can continue to make a complete fool out of herself because Rebecca Black stories are amazing at getting andPOP web traffic.
YouTube phenomenon Greyson Chance is preparing for his new music video, “Unfriend You.”
“This is my song writing room…where I come in a very artistic scene in the video and I song write,” Greyson explains. “So we have all this really weird stuff in here. Some old pianos, some old rock posters on the wall,” he tells JustJaredJr.
The story for the music video is Greyson getting dumped by a girl, and getting revenge on the girl by toilet papering her house.
Oh it’s so hard being a teen!
Do you miss Charlie Sheen’s acting? Well he has a small appearance in a newly released rap video called ”Steak & Mash Potatoes.”
TMZ reports Sheen agreed to be in the video as a favor to his friend Simon Rex and Brother Marquis, who form the rap duo Chain Swangaz.
This video was apparently shot over a year ago when Charlie wasn’t as insane, and everything was relatively under control with Two and a Half Men.
Charlie plays a fast food restaurant manager in the video. Could this be a glimpse into the Sheen future?
Katy Perry has released a video teaser for her upcoming single ‘Last Friday Night.’
Along with a new song, Perry is also sporting a rather new look. Geek chic? Let’s just say it’s far from her fashion-forward Elle cover.
This marks Perry’s fourth single off her latest album ‘Teenage Dream.’ The video drops June 14th.
Also, thanks to a savvy YouTube commenter, I believe one can spot Rebecca Black (Friday, Friday, Gettin’ Down On Friday) at exactly 0:15 seconds. I wonder what her part will be in this!
Check it out the craziness below!
Rihanna’s newest music video, ‘Man Down,’ is sparking some controversy due to its violent nature, reports Billboard.
The video features Rihanna shooting a man dead after he sexually assaults her, which many believe is encouraging young women to turn to violence.
In Rihanna’s defence, the singer tweeted claiming the video stands for female empowerment, after she herself was a victim of a violent attack by then boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009.
“Young girls/women all over the world…we are a lot of things! We’re strong innocent fun flirtatious vulnerable, and sometimes our innocence can cause us to be naive! We always think it could NEVER be us, but in reality, it can happen to ANY of us! So ladies be careful,” she wrote.
The song features such lyrics as ”Momma, I just shot a man dead…I never been so proud.”
Several groups, including The Parents Television Council and Industry Ears, are asking BET and Viacom to stop airing the video.
“If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass,” said Paul Porter, co-founder of Industry Ears.
Melissa Henson of the Parents Television Council continued with the criticism, saying “instead of telling victims they should seek help, Rihanna released a music video that gives retaliation in the form of premeditated murder the imprimatur of acceptability.”
On one hand, they do have a point. If Brown released a video like this, the world would be up in arms. Yet she’s allowed to condone murder?
On the other hand, though, the video would make no sense if she didn’t act out the lyrics. The song calls for a “man down,” so artistically, she had to do it. I think people are just taking this too seriously – her video is like a mini movie, an exaggerated story of a woman defending herself. It’s called artistic expression!
Watch the video below.
90s pop band ‘Aqua,’ most famous for their hit ‘Barbie Girl,’ is back with a new single and music video.
The song, titled ‘How R U Doin?’ is actually really catchy. It sort of rips off ‘Like a G6,’ but it’s good nonetheless. I’m really feeling the song and video, something I never thought I would say about them. Check it out below for a blast from the past!
You may have forgotten this but Britney Spears is actually a really amazing dancer. Well at least she was before she met Kevin Federline, had kids, went crazy, etc. Anyways Britney is bringing back some of her special mojo. Britney just released a new video for “Till the World Ends” which features more footage of her dancing.
Spears tweeted last week about the alternate video, writing, “Just saw the final cut of the dance version of the #TTWE video. Not sure which one I like best?”
However there are some rumours swirling that Britney did use dance doubles for many of the scenes. What do you think?
Jessie & The Toy Boys have released their first official music video for their first single: ‘Push It’ featuring Yelawolf.
The heavy-synth powered track showcases a candid look at the front woman Jessie Malokouti and her laundry routine, which involves choreography and a soapy dance party. Not since Whitesnake has a music video been so wet. There is something refreshingly 80s about this video that is sure to be recycled in clubs, in fact Jessie offered her fans an opportunity to remix ‘Push It’ into a variety of styles. The ‘best-of’ remixes can be downloaded on iTunes or streamed on her MySpace account.
In a recent interview Jessie said, “I don’t mind that people approach me with one attitude and leave with another. I like having the power to play with stereotypes…and then shatter them. It’s fun and gratifying.” And if anything, her first video is only a pebble of what is about to ripple.
I had a chance to catch up with Jessie Malokouti and talk about the future of band, the new single and her influences last week. That interview can be found here.
