Graffiti6 is starting to make their North American invasion, and they are hitting up the Tonight Show. Does this sound familiar? Well the Beatles made the exact same journey over 40 years ago. Naturally, @jordans_life had to make some comparisons.
Nick plays World of Warcraft. Not only that, he’s the head of his guild, demonstrating that it IS possible to juggle being a hardcore gamer with being a top-selling recording artist.
During a LIVE interview on andPOP.com Nick Carter gave out a number and took phone calls from his fans. These were real phone calls from real fans who we gave exclusive access to one of the biggest recording artists of our generation.
There were great questions about music, fitness, the backstreet boys but the most popular question, however, was about his underwear. In this clip Nick talks about his his ‘Haynes’ and covering his fans with glow in the dark paint.
When releasing new music today, half the battle is online promotion. However, contests, signed merch and giveaways aren’t always the best solutions. When working on their latest album, Hedley came up with a brilliant idea, they decided to make trailers.
It’s hard to prepare for an interview with Hedley. So in this interview, we threw caution to the wind, got a 24 of beer and broadcast the interview live on our USTREAM (andPOP.tv). Eventually Jacob, Dave and @jordans_life ended up talking about hairy legs, their newest music video and more.

Adam Lambert’s latest video ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ dropped yesterday, it uses the tired concept popularized by another Adam.
The Sandler-like multi-character plot (or Eddie Murphy or Peter Sellars or Jerry Lewis) features the familiar Glambert persona with the guy liner, spikey hair and all black everything versus a clean cut, happier, tea-drinking version of his ego. Could it be a battle of the Adam past and Adam future? Introversive and extroversive? Is this some sort of psychobabble that we cannot grasp?!
“It’s about the relationship you have with yourself between your dark and light side,” Lambert explained to MTV News. “It’s about duality. It’s about that balance and finding it and struggling to maintain it and what that means. It’s an emotionally complicated video and I hope people are open-minded about it. I thought really hard and long about what was covered in it and what I was trying to say with it.”
The video nods to his ‘Whataya Want From Me’ video. “It’s a cousin to that. … There is something similar to ‘Whataya Want From Me.’ I think that domesticated version of myself is my idealistic better version of me,” he explained. “It’s the me I want to be in my right mind. It’s the most happy, content, peaceful, wholesome version of myself.”
One thing is for certain, he’s definitely no Freddy Mercury. Hey dude – you brought on the comparisons yourself.

A lot of amazing videos have come out today and M.I.A.’s “Bad Girl” is no exception.
The English rapper takes “The Fast and the Furious” to Morrocco, where the video takes place.
Billboard calls it “an interesting take on culture, blending lyrics about having sex in cars with Americanized imagery of Moroccan culture”.
The track was produced by Danja, one of Timbaland’s apprentices. This song will definitely be featured on M.I.A.’s upcoming album set to be released in the summer. Expect more divine Danja-produced songs on it.
The newest from South African rap-rave trio Die Antwoord isn’t as “freeky” as their previous videos but it’s still up to par.
“I Fink U Freaky” features the typical items normally found in a DA video: people in their underwear, creepy children, weird dancing, and a couple of snakes. No big deal.
Different bodies gyrate to the pulsating beat as Yo-Landi sings into the camera, “I think you’re freaky and I like you a lot.” The feeling is mutual, guys.

If you thought Nicki Minaj’s video for “Stupid Hoe” was really weird, wait until you see her latest featuring David Guetta.
While David Guetta’s songs and beats are generic, his videos prove to be the opposite.
The Frankenstein-esque video for “Turn Me On” has the DJ clipping away in his dungeon to create the ultimate female pop star, Nicki Minaj. The pink-haired rebel spends half the video an actual plastic doll – freaky!
We’ve never seen the two über cool performers in a dingy, medieval setting before so this is kind of a treat, albeit a pretty disturbing one.

Glitter queen Ke$ha is working on her follow-up album to “Animal”, which she promises will show off her more vulnerable side. So, before Ke$ha goes all soft on us, she decided to put out one more wild video.
The song “Get Sleazy 2.0″ features Andre 3000, Wiz Khalifa, T.I. and Lil Wayne. The video, however, doesn’t feature any of these people. It stars a big black man with a mohawk, a Pabst Blue Ribbon-drinking drag queen, a local hippie, a foul-mouthed old man, and a bat-wielding teen hooligan.
Ke$ha shared this video on her YouTube page, writing “this video is the product of my friends seeing how sleazy the already monumentally ‘Sleazy Remix 2.0′ could get. Brace yourself because this video takes SLEAZY to a whole new level.”
You heard her, brace yourself.

Lianne La Havas is a 22-year-old soul and folk singer from the UK. She just signed a huge deal with Warner and will be releasing her debut album very soon.
Sounding like the lovechild of Janelle Monae and Corinne Bailey Rae, Lianne recently made a whimsical music video for her lead single “Forget”.
With her smooth vocals and killer fashion sense, we’ll be hearing and seeing more of Lianne throughout this year. Here’s her debut music video, “Forget”.
Mac Miller has turned things upside down with his latest video for “Of The Soul” off his album “Blue Slide Park.” This somewhat artsy, triangular take on the standard hiphop video format is a nice way to let the song speak for itself. This video still has the usual dancing girls and wardrobe changes but Mac really makes it his own.
It’s a nice change from the house parties and red cups we’ve seen in some of his earlier videos. Mac also rocks a fairly impressive beard that reveals he’s actually an undercover GINGER. Does anyone see the irony here yet? It’s not really fair to say he’s a full-blown redhead but even a half-ginger making a video about soul is hilarious.
Watch the video below, overall I give it 8.5 inverted triangles out of 10.
In her newest video for “You Da One”, Rihanna dresses like Alex DeLarge from “A Clockwork Orange” and dances like Michael Jackson.
The chameleon is now on to conquer a whole new look: platinum blonde hair. I, for one, miss the redheaded Rihanna. In this video you see the 22-year-old singer sporting a bunch of blonde wigs that takes some time getting used to seeing.
I tried to count how many times Rihanna grabs her crotch like Michael Jackson so infamously did in the 80s but I lost count after ten.
The song is funky and catchy while the music video gives off a bleak vibe, probably since it’s entirely in black and white. And, there’s nothing more annoying than the lyrics popping up on the screen. Am I suddenly at a karaoke bar?
Watch “You Da One” posted below and let us know what you like more: the song or the video.
Canadian homeboy Drake loves the west coast so much he had shoot his latest video for “The Motto” in the Bay area of California.
Along for the ride were Lil Wayne, Tyga E-40 and Mistah F.A.B. as they all show up in his new video for the bonus track off his new album, “Take Care”.
Drake revealed in an interview the video was made entirely on real film, something most performers rarely do in this digital age.
While the cars in the video are nice to look at, their outfits…not so much. When you have to pay thousands of dollars for such fancy car rentals, there may not be room left in the budget for styling. Drake is seen wearing a cheetah print winter coat and Lil Wayne tried to rock bright green winter boots. I wonder what Anna Wintour of Vogue has to say about this.
The video wasn’t without it’s good moments. For instance, the beginning opens with the mother of the late rapper Mac Dre sending out a heartfelt message to her slain son.
Check out “The Motto” below.
It’s finally here; Lana Del Rey is back to give us another reason to take a cold shower.
Her official music video for “Born To Die” featured those tigers she mentioned to the media a week ago. It features more sex, more fire and more cars than we could have imagined.
The same actor from the unnoficial video reappears to seduce Lana on the hood of his car and offer her a lighter for her marijuana joint. The music video plays out like a tragic but equally sexy romantic movie like David Lynch’sWild at Heart. If this is the type of “official” music video Lana has to offer, I would like seconds, please.
You can stream the music video below.
Hard to believe this X Factor winner is only 18! Her debut album “Sticks + Stones” has been successful on charts all over the world.
Who can forget her cute and wholesome video for “With Ur Love” featuring Mike Posner. Now, Cher’s back on the tube with a darker, grittier music video for “Dub on the Track”.
Yes, it seems Cher’s just another singer jumping on the dubstep bandwagon. It’s not even the best song on the album, so I ponder why she bothered making a single out of it. Maybe it’s just an excuse to show audiences her dark side. In “Dub on the Track” she looks like she’s ready to beat you up for giving her a nasty look. She even has a badass posse to back her up!
Check out her new video below.
Will.I.Am. overdoses on punctuation with the release of his music video for the song, “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever’) By ‘hardest’, I’m sure Will means ‘suckiest’, because that’s what this video is. Take a look:
Will.I.Am, dressed as the white Power Ranger, keeps singing about how the beat is “so hard” in the introduction. We, the listeners, not oblivious to sexual innuendos.
J.Lo is never seen in the same fram as Will. She’s only featured in the animated posters randomly placed on the airplane runway. She keeps telling me I can go hard or I can go home. Yeah, I’d rather go home, Jenny, especially after seeing Mick Jagger placed in the center of the universe doing some of the most ridiculous dance moves I’ve seen in a long time.
Usually when Will.I.Am is alongside his Black Eyed Peas members, they produce really fun, energetic music videos. This solo effort, unfortunately, just makes me want to take a nap, for a really, really long time.
This leaves me wondering how Granda Al would react if he were to see this monstrosity. Granda Al, if you can remember, is the old man whose famous for his cute YouTube video of his reaction to Dubstep music. I somehow believe he’d have get the same impression.
Nothing gets you in the festive spirit than a song called “Kill My Boyfrend”, right?
The newest music video from miniature Lady Gaga, Natalia Kills, is finally out. In the song, the English pop singer talks about killing her boyfriend because he’s only nice to her when other people are around.
Around this time of year most singers her age are frolicking in the snow and singing about decking the halls, but Natalia isn’t your average girl. She’s frolicking in the bathroom and singing about drowning her boyfriend. Fa la la la la, la la la la!
Who knew someone could make a song about murder sound so happy and poppy. It’s extremely creepy and I’m afraid to ask what Natalia Kills’ next single will be. Is it “Slice Open Your Head”? “Run Over Your Neighbours Cat”?
Watch her morbid music video below.
Dance duo Major Lazer never fails to both entertain and puzzle people at the same time.
Their latest music video for “Original Don” is set in what looks to be Florida in the ’80s, and features two dancers with gigantic swords. Not usually the most popular choice of prop in a dance number but hey, this is a Major Lazer video and pretty much anything goes.
The band enlisted the help of a YouTube star, “temperature3″ as one of the dancers. Most of the dancing is filmed in one take, which is pretty remarkable in this day and age of ‘blind and you’ll miss’ shots. The sword hoedowns are broken up by shots of an old woman fumbling around in her old retirement home. It’s incredibly random but then again, so is the sandwich break towards the end of the video.
If Major Lazer are good at one thing it’s making us all think ‘What the…?!’ Have a look at “Original Don” posted below.
Justin Bieber has more Christmas videos to last you a lifetime. His newest one, “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, features the singer working at a toy factory.
The helpers and elves may have a crap load of presents to make in just 19 days but they always find time to break dance! Usually the dance scenes in a Bieber video are innovative and fun but in this one it’s flat and robotic.
The classic song, features in the “Arthur’s Christmas” movie, has also been covered by Bruce Springsteen who does a much better job.
Essentially, what this video lacks is Mariah Carey. “All I Want For Christmas” was an adorable collaboration between the two singers and the video turned out to be a joy to watch. “Santa Claus” is just dark and dreadful. The so-called toy factory it takes place in looks like it’s about to be investigated by the FBI for breaking health code violations and child labour laws.
Check out the video and see for yourself.
The people at Victoria’s Secret have yet again proved that their sole purpose in this world is to make men happy. Gentlemen, Christmas came early this year.
In this ridiculously cute two-and-a-half minute video, a group of slim and perfectly symmetrical real-life Barbies parade around in menswear singing Maroon 5′s ‘Moves Like Jagger.” It shares an uncanny similarity to the actual music video that has over 60 million hits to date. However, this is much, much better.
The video features supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana LIma, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson, Miranda Kerr and Anne Vyalitsyna, who all get a thumbs up from Adam Levine for their sultry performance of his hit song.
To be honest, I have no idea why Maroon 5 made a music video without Victoria’s Secret models in the first place. They could have saved money and the lingerie makers would have picked up the bill. Either way, if you haven’t already seen this, enjoy!
If you’re like me, you probably watch a Lady Gaga music video and think to yourself “wow, how can she top that?!”
With such a creative mind and relentlessly artistic spirit, Lady Gaga is always one-upping her previous video endeavour. They’re more than a typical 3 minute long video. They are captivating short films with an incredible soundtrack. Sometimes, they’re so stunning it can make those little hairs behind your neck stand up.
“Marry the Night” behinds with Lady Gaga being strolled into a hospital room. She looks pale, thin and scared to die. “I’m going to be a star!” her character says, as if it’s her dying wish.
The 13 minute long opus then goes to a flashback (or so we’re made to believe) of Lady Gaga’s character in two scenerios: as a successful and graceful ballerina, and as a hungry, delusional artist covered in nothing but Cheerios. Hey, they are part of a nutritious breakfast, whether you eat them or wear them.
“You may say I lost everything, but I still had my BeDazzeler,” she narrates, as she is seen dancing around cars in flames. A viewer like would assume this is her character’s “low point”. She laments the time she was a dancer in her prime.
Of course, no music video would be complete without Lady Gaga’s side boob. There’s plenty of shots of the singer naked in the bathtub. Guess she has to get a man’s attention somehow.
For her first time directing a music video, Lady Gaga gets points for being ambitious (when is she not?) however, the storyline could have been a little more cohesive. Fortunately, the killer dance sequences make up for it.
So, kids, make some popcorn and gather around and watch as Lady Gaga marries the night.
All we want for Christmas is Justin Bieber. But, sadly, we can’t all be Selena Gomez. Or Mariah Carey in this case.
Yes, the lucky songbird got to costar in a joyous music video with the Biebs for his new song “All I Want For Christmas”, which is a cover of an old Mariah track.
The new mother of two looks like a total knock-out dresses as Mrs. Santa Claus and Bieber’s sporting a nice, fresh haircut. He’s sporting the most comfiest Christmas sweaters, you can’t help but want to cozy up by the fireplace with him and Mariah.
That dog featured in the end of the video, where Justin and Mariah pass out presnets together is one lucky canine! Check out the cute video posted below.
There’s a ton of hype surrounding Toronto R&B sensation The Weeknd. He put out his highly acclaimed mixtape “House of Balloons” back in March, and only now does he have an official music video to show for it.
“The Knowing” is like a short sci-fi film but with a killer soundtrack. It takes you on a visual journey onto Planet Ethio X, set way, way, way into the future (16311 A.D. to be exact).
The 8 minute long video is pretty intense on the eyes. The Weeknd a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye plays a pretty big role in the video. The brains behind the video is notable French filmmaker Mikael Columbu, who has also worked with Cee Lo Green and Bilal.
Go make some popcorn and prepare to have all your senses stimulates as you watch the epic odyssey that is “The Knowing”.
Lady Gaga is about to release the 8 minute long music music video for Marry the Night and you know you’re going to be in for a wild ride.
Today, Lady Gaga unveiled a teaser of what appears to be the prelude to the video. The singer is pushed around in a gurney by two nurses in a hospital while she does a voice-over narration. It’s rather deep and artistic.
“Clinical psychology tells us arguably that trauma is the ultimate killer. Memories are not recycled like atoms and particles in quantum physics. They can be lost forever. It’s sort of like my past is an unfinished painting. And as the artist of that painting, I must fill in all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again,” she narrates.
Lady Gaga not only has a knack for artistic videos but a strong niche at writing. I wouldn’t be surprised if she dabbles in poetry after she’s done promoting her album, Born This Way.
Lady Gaga wrote to fans on Twitter that this will be the longest video she’s made so far. “[It’s the beginning of the story I never told you.”
Watch the teaser posted below.
