SIN CITY star BRITTANY MURPHY has wed her screenwriter boyfriend Simon Monjack.
The 29-year-old actress and Monjack were seen wearing wedding rings at a Playboy magazine event at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
A source tells UsMagazine.com, “They didn’t want photographers to take pictures of their rings because they were waiting to make a formal announcement.”
Murphy called off her engagement to ex-boyfriend Joe Macaluso in August 2006, following an eight month relationship. She was also engaged to talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz for six months in 2004.

DREAMGIRLS star EDDIE MURPHY was so devastated after losing the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award to ALAN ARKIN he stormed out of the ceremony, according to press reports in the US.
Murphy was the favourite to win the Oscar, which instead was awarded to LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE star Arkin.
The 45-year-old tried to downplay his disappointment telling American publication Us Weekly, “It’s fine. It happens. It’s OK.”
But shortly thereafter, Murphy and girlfriend TRACEY EDMONDS left the show and didn’t return.
Murphy missed out on his Dreamgirls castmates BEYONCE KNOWLES, JENNIFER HUDSON and ANOKI NONI ROSE performing songs from the film, as well as Hudson’s win for Best Supporting Actress.

BRITTANY MURPHY will give PETER PAN’s fairy pal TINKERBELL a voice in a new computer-generated movie.
The film, part of Disney bosses’ new Disney Fairies franchise, will be released late next year.
Murphy won’t be the first big name to play the mischievous sprite – JULIA ROBERTS played Tinkerbell in 1991 movie HOOK.

Funny-man Eddie Murphy has split from Melanie B, a.k.a. Scary Spice, after a six-month courtship.
Murphy admitted the break-up during an interview on the Dutch show RTL Boulevard while promoting his upcoming flick, “Dreamgirls”.
The Beverly Hills Cops and Dr. Doolittle star also said that he wants a paternity test from Mel. B’s unborn child.
“You’re being presumptuous, because we’re not together any more and we don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test,” Murphy said while interviewed.
“You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir,” he added.
Mel B. is reportedly five months pregnant.
She already has a seven-year-old daughter, from her previous marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
