What’s even more impressive than the rap is the fact that the woman behind the window managed to get the order straight! British rapper Professor Elemental wants you to throw your hands in the air — but if you’d rather not, that’s okay too. He doesn’t want to cause that much of a fuss.
The aristocratic fast-talker’s new song “I’m British,” which personifies the “perfectly adequate” culture, will give you some joy in this dark wintery sludge. We also FINALLY get the apology we deserve for exports like Simon Cowell and especially Piers Morgan.

All these years, posh old aristocrats with a strong sense of British patriotism have been missing out on rap songs because they don’t identify with the Lil Waynes and Wiz Khalifas of the world. Finally, they can find solace with Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer, a parodist who performs “chap hop” — hip-hop delivered in a received pronunciation accent.
His new music video for ”Just Like A Chap” is perfect for moustached men from the 1880s, who’d probably feel quite comfortable rocking a spectacle. The video was directed by Rob Bradley for Bradley Drawn Pictures and the chap-hop superstar is currently promoting The Tweed Album.
